Their unlimited revisions policy kept the design process seamless and continuous throughout the lifecycle of the project. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Spring Studio's business model and onboarding process were two of the most impressive features of their offering. They have created a perfectly self-service, subscription-based design as a service that feels effortless to begin and maintain momentum. We have even copied several of their practices in our own company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Spring Studio could have done differently?

With the pace of Spring Studio's design development, it can be easy for certain designs to get lost in the torrent of output from their designers. It's a good problem to have, but a problem nonetheless. It would be nice for them to create a single "source-of-truth" checklist for all of the deliverables they've created so that no single designs get lost on their way to production.

Logo design for my online business called The Design Warrior. The scope of work included the understanding of my brand new online business that is targeting architects and construction professionals. The team at SpringStudio was capable of deeply understanding my business needs. 

They took the time to dive into the key concepts I wanted to communicate with my brand so they could come up with a logo design that made sense. The deliverables included a logo design in several digital formats for me to use on my website, social media, and other digital platforms. I was part of a free 7-day trial program where the team was able to craft a solution that met my expectations.

I now have an identity to start my online business and focus on providing valuable content for my audience. My experience overall was great. The Spring Studio team was always taking care of my needs in a structured way and with clear communication. A big thank you to all of the people involved in my logo design project.

The team was able to present several logo design options for me to choose from, in the 7-day trial period. In the end, they provided me with the final logo design in the formats I requested.

I liked the way they used Notion, Loom, and other software to make sure I gave all the information they needed to work on my logo design. I'm the Founder of Maidily - scheduling software for cleaning businesses that was designed by Spring Studio.

We hired them to design (wiring frames) Maidily (MVP) on Figma.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I personally shopped around on Reddit/Google and found their portfolio - I loved their work and their approach.

They designed, on Figma, the entire MVP version of Maidily from scratch. We started with a discovery call in which I outlined what Maidily was and what type of customer profile it had. Our deliverables were based on the number of pages of software that needed a design and payment was split 50% upfront and 50% after designs were finished. We had a limited number of revisions available to us. I had weekly design check ins with them - specifically Tristan. It was an overall great experience! All assets were packaged up in Figma.

We communicated on Slack - that was preferred communication channel, I didn't mind, since that's what I was already using. I communicated directly with the owner, Tristan, but I believe there were 2-3 people put on this project from the agency.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Deliverables were executed and delivered in a timely manner. Communication about delays (sure, there were some) was done in a timely manner as well - I never minded it because I was prepared to have some hiccups along the way.

Communication as mentioned above was all done through Slack and weekly design reviews which I LOVED! Slack was easy enough to use - they don't charge extra money for time spent talking on Slack!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

How close of a relationship they have with their customers and the communication style. Easy to work with, easy to talk to! Also - you can't beat their pricing! More affordable than anyone else we looked at.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only thing I would recommend they improve on is less pushback on certain 'wants' on designs if the 'wants' aren't in line with best practices but are desired by us, the customer. Ultimately they still followed what we wanted - but there was enough push back to be deemed as wasted time.

I had just launched my business after completing my life coaching certification and needed a website! Its a super key component for my industry because that's how customers can find me and book me for consultations. I wanted a website that speaks to the Elevated Life Coach brand - to elevate ones life! I love mountains and thought it would be the perfect inspiration - I also spoke to Tristan (the owner) about things I liked and didn't like, especially colors. It came out perfect! We had a few iterations and ultimately landed on the most beautiful coaching website (in my opinion) that perfectly captures my brand and vision and I couldn't be more excited!!

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected Spring Studio because of how personable Tristan was, the ease of communication, the pricing, and most importantly the quality of the work. Their designs look AWESOME! They didn't disappoint.

The process was great! We had an amazing 1st discover & connect call (that's what they call it) and we deep dove into what life coaching is, what aspects I was focusing on, what the customers (my clients) will be like and also the tone/vibe I wanted to portray. It was REALLY detailed...tons of productive detail came out of that call. It seemed like they really wanted to understanding what type of clients I was going to have and build something around for them to be comfortable on. They also put in place what to use for payment processing and scheduling! So the technologies they put together for me are Webflow which is what the website was built on Stripe for payment processing, and Calendly for scheduling calls. Super easy milestones - 3 bigs ones - starting, design check off, and development check off (launch).

I worked with 2 designers and 1 project manager via Slack - they are very responsive on Slack.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Launching soon (to the public) but I mean in terms of measurable deliverables - I did not have a website or brand styling or anything prior to this. Now I have an absolute beast of a website!!

They used Slack and it was great for communication - super easy to chat on there, super responsive. Timelines were all met, anything that went over was communicated prior and was completely understandable. Just super smooth and easy for me because this my working style!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The freaking eye for detail/design!! Incredible. Loved this entire process and was blown away. One thing that sticks out to me is that they push back on certain things for very logical reasons.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'd say improving their onboarding process in terms of having a project dashboard where customers can track their build would be pretty cool!
