I spoke with multiple SEO companies before settling on Split Reef.

We met to discuss my goals and my law firm so that Split Reef could build a tailored website solution and plan to improve my law firm's rankings amongst the most competitive keywords. We were in communication throughout during the building of the website and continue to be in contact regarding the monthly SEO.

I've worked with the owner of Split Reef as well as other team members to ensure that my needs were met.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We just launched the website recently, but I am already seeing results from rankings perspective as well as an increase of inquiries from potential clients.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have a platform where I am provided updates and I can communicate about any issues directly. Split Reef is very responsive and is able to fix any issues or make requested changes promptly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their results. Numerous law firms have had great success using Split Reef's services. I keep an eye on various rankings and law firms using Split Reef are generally at or near the top. Split Reef is great, and I am happy that they are handling my advertising.

Nothing at the moment. I am very happy.

I’m the CEO of a company that provides perpetual inventory systems for medical offices, hospitals, and health systems.

What challenge were you trying to address with Split Reef?

We hired them to help us with adding a new buy, sell, loan, and borrow module to our perpetual inventory system.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Split Reef is doing the backend coding work of the SaaS application. They’re also working on the database expansion so that the module functions, and they helped with the specifications of what we were trying to achieve. It’s a .NET and MySQL application.

What is the team composition?

Most of the time, I work directly with Aaron (Director, Project Manager). Sometimes, we have calls with three of their programmers.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them for about two years now, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re very happy with Aaron. He tests the application before we do.

How did Split Reef perform from a project management standpoint?

Aaron is timely. We communicate via phone or email, and they use an internal project management platform. The scheduling is good, but the deadlines are not so great. It’s been a long project, but not much of that is their fault. 

Additionally, their programmers are based in India so we have some language and time issues, but Aaron does a good job of managing all of that. COVID-19 has also caused everything to drag on. We’re getting closer to the end. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Split Reef looks at the big picture of the end goal and tries to make sure that the product is an MVP that we can show people. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

If I had to do it again, I would use a US-based team, but overall, the team has done their best to deliver.

Work with Aaron and try to come up with as detailed specifications as possible.

Sometimes attention to detail is lacking for specific legal matters that are addressed on our website. But this is more of a concern for our legal team that it should be for Split Reef.
