What challenge were you trying to address with Spark Creative?

We needed help with branding for our business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Spark Creative is doing a branding bundle for us, including developing a logo, letterheads, social media graphics, email signature, business cards, and a brand guide. We started the project by providing our vision to them in terms of colors, fonts, logo type, and other related aspects.

What is the team composition?

We’ve been working mainly with two members of their team, including a project manager and an artist. I chose the latter out of ten different artists they proposed to me.

How did you come to work with Spark Creative?

We found them through online research. We decided to go with them based on their pricing, which fit our budget.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $700 with them so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m delighted with their work so far — the artist from their team has been doing a fantastic job.

How did Spark Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management has been on the spot; they answer all of the questions and quickly get back to me when needed. In terms of communication, we use phone calls and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to quickly understand what I’m asking for is outstanding.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be quick in asking them for any needed changes; whenever I need something edited, they send me several proposals to improve the design. Don’t accept the first thing they show you, and don’t be afraid to ask for changes.

We wanted to increase our event’s awareness to the general public.

Spark Creative is providing us with digital marketing services that contain branding, graphic design, web development, and video production.

We mainly work with the president, director of technology, and two graphic designers from Spark Creative.

How did you come to work with Spark Creative?

They were a referral from a mutual contact.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about $20,000–$25,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The feedback from my clients has been overwhelmingly positive. 

How did Spark Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re very organized and responsive from a project management standpoint. The team is quick to reply to my concerns and they make very efficient use of their resources.

We typically communicate through email, Slack, and phone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re very impressed with their approach to design, as it’s very holistic and every element seems to fit together.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re able to meet their obligations and have consistently exceeded all my expectations, so I don’t have any complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The more prepared you are, the less time it’ll take for them to figure out what you need. I advise you to be organized so you can use your money and time more efficiently.

We needed visual and web design resources.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Spark Creative is our design resource — the scope of work started small but expanded as our partnership grew. They've created visuals for everything from marketing collateral to product packaging. Spark Creative has also designed and developed our Shopify website. There are constantly new projects in the pipeline that they help us with.

We worked with 4–6 teammates from Spark Creative, including web designers and developers, graphic designers, and the company founders. 

How did you come to work with Spark Creative?

I'd worked with Spark Creative at different companies on smaller projects in the past, so hiring them for a larger project was a no-brainer.  

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested $30,000–$50,000 with Spark Creative across multiple projects. 

What is the status of this engagement?

My engagement with Spark Creative began in February 2021, and it's ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our business competes with major brands on the national market, so I'm very particular about what designs are published. I'm delighted with Spark Creative's work — it's an all-or-nothing situation for our business, and Spark Creative is putting out great designs. 

How did Spark Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

Spark Creative has excellent project management and works quickly; they're clean, organized, and systemized. Depending on the project, we'll have daily or weekly meetings. We communicate with them regularly — in between projects, communication is looser. Spark Creative is like a breath of fresh air compared to freelancers I've worked with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I've done multiple projects with Spark Creative — once we finished our first project, they opened up their arsenal of expertise, and the scope of work expanded. Their company structure is helpful for entrepreneurs and startups because they keep every market situation in mind. They organize each deliverable into folders to make the client's life easier. Spark Creative doesn't nickel and dime us — they're focused on delivering what we need. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Spark Creative has everything dialed in, so there's nothing I can think of for them to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I'd advise any customer who is hesitant to work with Spark Creative to begin with a small project to see how they work and communicate. Customers shouldn't be surprised that when they start one project, they'll snowball into doing even more.

I am the owner of a pest control company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Spark Creative, and what were your goals?

I initially hired Spark Creative to create a logo for my business, the process and quality was above expectations and after i had them develop a Website for my company. They made everything very easy for me.

SOLUTION

How did you select Spark Creative and what were the deciding factors?

I searched online, I had a call with one of the owners, Adlai. After the call i was very confident that they can deliver what they promised.

After the the initial call with Adlai his team started the process extremely fast, they were professional, they provided me with many choices to choose the design i love the most, i felt very confident that they are there to make sure i am 100% pleased with the work.

A project manager and probably 4-5 other teammates.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I wanted to make my business visible online, so far the website is a success attracting new customers for my business.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We were communicating via Zoom, email and phone.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to show us how to make changes on ourselves, they also gave us ideas and recommendation of new things to consider bringing to our website in the future.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So far I had no issues with the service or the product delivered.
