RCE is a Carlsbad, CA based AI med tech company that develops sensor technology for measuring cardiac bio-markers.

RCE had the need to build a backend infrastructure that could serve a centralized location for data collection, data processing and source for data analysis and data visualization. Someshwara Software Pvt Ltd developed node.SJ API servers Reactjs web front end with graphical interface for our medical device, Tropsensor. This enabled RCE to validate Tropsensor in pilot studies and clinical trials at multiple hospitals.

The instant end to end integration allowed successful execution of non-invasive data collection, analysis and reporting. We believe the foundation of backend technology stack built by Someshwara will pave the path for efficient point of care instant measurements, and thereby improve patient outcomes.

We went through a process of looking at companies that had various skill sets, and Someshwara fit well with out needs on both backend and frontend. Additionally, they provided good architectural foundation prior to implementation.

Successful deployment of ingest services, APIs, relational database tables and front end graphical visualization tools. No latency in data reads No server side errors post deployment

Someshwara was quite interactive and flexible with communication and project management using tools like Google Docs, Zoom, Slack

We hired this team to develop version 1 of our custom immersive and interactive mobile gaming platform. Our goal was to have a high quality, functional product that was scalable, allowing us to build-upon and to easily incorporate new features.

We found them through referral and considered them alongside several other vendors. We needed a reliable, results-oriented partner with a proven track record of delivering world-class product and services and a strong customer support philosophy.

They have designed and developed a custom immersive and interactive mobile gaming app. They took over the project from another vendor - and had to redo workflows and design mockups prior to beginning development and production.

We have navigated the project through daily scrums and weekly sprints with has allowed us to test functionality and give feedback.

There are 7 dedicated core team members, including a project manager, 2 designers, 2 senior developers and 2 quality assurance personnel. Other resources would come and go depending on the project needs.

While still ongoing - the quality of the deliverables has been outstanding.

We have communicated through WhatsApp, Github and Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have had direct access to the entire team, which has made communication, brainstorming, trouble-shooting easier.

The realities of a COVID-19 world have not impacted our ability to collaborate virtually , and often 1-1, through key aspects of each phase of the project. Their response times have been stellar, even across multiple time-zone differences of our team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The quality of work and dedication of the team has been stellar. I have discussed opportunities that have arisen for them to be more diligent about documentation and communication of timelines - the project manager has followed through promptly to address this.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder of Pitch.link, a buyer/seller engagement platform. It allows you to line up existing sales and marketing collateral you’ll use for either face-to-face or online sales calls like a playlist. You can take your PowerPoint, PDF, Excel file, word document, PNGs, movies, and audios and record your own voice or video. Then, you insert it in between these files to add context and personality. You can package the whole thing and send it off to a customer as a link.

What challenge were you trying to address with Someshwara Software Pvt Ltd?

We needed someone to develop our web app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had the basic flow and concept, and they helped us code it, helped with the design and the implementation. They’ve helped us through multiple iterations. It’s a web application that uses mostly PHP. However, we’re doing a complete rework of the frontend now and will launch at the end of March or the beginning of April. The entire frontend is being redone in React.

What is the team composition?

There are at least five people. My point of contact is Basavaraj (Founder, Someshwara Software Pvt Ltd).

How did you come to work with Someshwara Software Pvt Ltd?

I have some background in media and used to do a television show when I was young. I have some friends in media, and one of them introduced me to Someshwara. I found them to be very nice and down to earth; they’re very transparent and honest.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2018, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They have been more like a partner than a vendor. There have been multiple versions to this point, and the first version was out by early 2019. Since then, we’ve had at least two more versions come out. They always deliver within a week of what we discussed. This included delays on our end sometimes.

How did Someshwara Software Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

They will flag a problem much earlier than I’m used to with other vendors. The first thing they do is call via phone right away to discuss the problem.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m very happy with them. We didn’t have to bother with any of it, other than telling them what we wanted. They really ensured that all the pieces would fall in place.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes communication isn’t up to the mark. When we’re not talking to the project manager but rather people down the line, we sometimes get confused about what they’re trying to say. They could work a bit on really helping their people get used to communicating.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re really uncomplicated people. If you can communicate straight and level with them, they’ll be great partners.
