SOLUTIONLAB PRODUCTION, UAB helps us with the support and development of our site. We started by transferring our website’s code to them so they could become familiar with it. After that, they started adding new features to it.

I’ve been working with their managing director, a project manager, and a developer.

We found them through a Google search. We chose to work with them because they were premium partners of our website’s backend system provider.

We started working together in September 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

We consider their involvement a success so far; they’ve fulfilled our expectations.

How did SOLUTIONLAB PRODUCTION, UAB perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is good at communication and meeting deadlines and budgets. Regarding tools, we’ve used Asana and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to lead a structured process and good communication are outstanding work features.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Our website was created over 5 years ago and had become outdated. Since we didn’t have in-house developers to invest in a new website, we hired this team to develop an Umbraco site for us. By doing this, we were hoping to increase our traffic and improve site’ speed.

We searched online web developers companies that would work with Umbraco. So we chose them because it was a good option for us.

The team is developing features for our site on Umbraco as contact forms, implementing chat bot, blocks for ur landing pages (products page, category pages, blog, attraction pages, etc), implementing updates for menu, etc.

Team lead (who is our main contact person for the project), web developer, devops.

Website works more smooth, increased site traffic

We had daily/weekly stand-ups (depending on project tasks). We use Microsoft Teams for communication and Asana for the tasks.

The team gives professional advice about the solutions for the project.

They work very fast to fix the bugs

We hired the team in order to help us with scaling up our internal resources for building an in house end-to-end IoT platform.

We were already collaborating with them for operational tasks on other platforms.

The scope of the project was to build inhouse an end-to-end IoT platform in order to connect our devices, covering the connectivity hardware, back end cloud architecture and front end solutions such as web portal, mobile app and sms notification solution.

6 resources, consisting of DevOps engineers, fullstack developer and QA resources

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have reached the commercial soft launch stage so far, with further development lined up in the pipeline

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The Solutionlab consultants acted basically as team members, they were fully integrated in our Scrum teams, showed high degree of proactivity and responsibility for making sure we design and develop a maintainable and scalable platform. Overall it was and is a very fruitful collaboration

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm impressed with their attention to detail. They always have our needs in mind and even challenge us on decisions made on our side that were maybe not optimal for our environment.

Not that I can think of
