What challenge were you trying to address with SOLTECH?Initially, as our projects within our company were scaling at a rapid pace, there was a growing need to find software developers with specialized skill sets. What was the scope of their involvement?SOLTECH adds efficiency to our hiring process by pre-screening candidates before submitting those with the tailored skill sets best matching our open positions.SOLTECH doesn't provide job training due to the variety of positions available at Neptune. Nonetheless, SOLTECH manages the transition from the interview process to onboarding and ensures the new candidate is settled in their new role and meets expectations. SOLTECH has helped us find full-time employees and consultants for short-term projects. The team is responsible for conducting background screenings, drug testing, and other processes normally conducted on full-time employees. What is the team composition?We were initially introduced to Ann (Director of Business Development) and Ellen (Director of Staffing Solutions). Kyra, our Account Manager, with support from Ellen, has and continues to ensure our account is handled seamlessly with impeccable customer service daily.How did you come to work with SOLTECH?Our company's Vice President of Technology discovered SOLTECH and contacted them because they had local representation. Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?Kyra has been amazing and is a fantastic communicator!!! I speak with her regularly. If I could hire her myself, I would. Even though SOLTECH's recruiters find viable candidates, Kyra understands our needs and personally screens them herself before sending them to us.  She provides relevant information about each candidate and can knowingly set up daily interviews based on our teams’ availability. ### Merchant E - Tech Resources for Payment Processor
Business Challenge
MerchantE had reached a point where they needed to enhance their credit card processing platforms with additional solutions. Their needs were so varied that they hired us to help them find the different resources they needed for each project.
 
They had two specific solutions that they wanted to build and asked SOLTECH to hire contract workers for:

Hosted Payments: A solution that helps customers feel more secure when paying for goods or services with a branded payment form on their website.
Electronic Invoices: MerchantE’s invoice tool that streamlines the payment process to get paid faster.

In addition to these, MerchantE aimed to expand their core team. They turned to us to locate skilled software engineers and software architects for full-time roles.
 
Lastly, they wanted to build a PCI billing automation compliance tool. Their manual process needed to be automated to ensure their 3rd party vendors were being compliant with their credit card regulations. This stand-alone product would help to manage MerchantE’s required safety, security, and compliance screening.

### Stryten - Data Insights & Predictive Analytics
Stryten Energy, based Georgia, partnered with SOLTECH to enhance their vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) system with a state-of-the-art dashboard. This collaboration aimed to monitor VRFB performance and assist in talent acquisition for Stryten Energy's Essential Power division. 
SOLTECH’s team developed a comprehensive dashboard to display key performance indicators of VRFB units, offering real-time data, predictive analytics, and energy storage optimization. Concurrently, SOLTECH's recruitment team effectively sourced and hired qualified candidates, enhancing Stryten Energy's operational capabilities. 
The project has positioned Georgia as a leader in the clean energy sector, demonstrating significant advancements in long-duration energy storage and contributing positively to environmental sustainability.


### Fusionetics - Build of Sports Medicine Platform
Fusionetics was formed by a group of sports and wellness professionals including sports medicine doctors, physical therapists and professional athletes.  With extensive past experiences in internet-based health and wellness services, Fusionetics wanted to create a new product that would offer online assessment tools to identify imbalances and dysfunctions in the body and then automatically generate a treatment plan as well as provide a personalized portal to track treatment activities and progress.
Understanding that the best product feedback would come directly from customers, Fusionetics and SOLTECH defined the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) from the completed solution design and focused the implementation plan on building the MVP over a seven-month period.  To help Fusionetics actively sell the new product to professional sports teams and athletes prior to launch, the SOLTECH team created a project plan that would give Fusionetics the ability to demo the in-progress application as soon as possible. 
Fusionetics was able to successfully build and launch their Sports Medicine platform with an accelerated schedule while building a strong customer base both before and shortly after product launch.  At the time of writing, Fusionetics has 18 professional teams and 20 collegiate teams as customers who are actively using the product.

### Haggai - Salesforce Configuration & Customization
Haggai International is a global organization that provides leadership equipping and support for national leaders located in 188 nations. Haggai has significant workflows and processes required to evaluate, select and logistically support the attendance of individuals at their global training events. Haggai used a variety of systems to manage the organization of their global training sessions and ongoing support of their trained leaders worldwide. The systems were written in antiquated code and were not integrated with each other, making management and data retrieval difficult. Salesforce was selected as the ideal choice to serve as the central hub for all their data and the tool that could facilitate communication and coordination with its Alumni/Leaders around the world.
SOLTECH resolved the licensing concern by creating an integrated extranet portal for the volunteers so that licenses were only required for the core Haggai employee team. SOLTECH used Salesforce Sales Cloud with significant custom objection and custom workflow development in order to meet Haggai’s needs.


### Aveanna - Integration of Healthcare EHR System
Business Challenge
Aveanna had a few different EMRs for clinical workers in the field to record visits, OASIS data, diagnosis codes, and other clinical forms. They created a strategic initiative to consolidate those disparate clinical field applications into one. Since they work with over 200 different branches and over 50,000 caregivers, they needed key data to flow seamlessly between their HR solution (Workday), their EMR, and the new clinical solution.
 
Solution
Aveanna chose to add NetSmart’s myUnity Clinical (formerly DeVero) to their system. They commissioned SOLTECH to build, test and deploy the solution. Our solution architect managed the integration between myUnity Clinical, their EMR, and Workday (their HR and accounting system). The integrations we did included:

Integrating the worker and user data of at least 50,000 staff members from Workday into myUnity and Active Directory.
Pulling patient, payer, and physician information into myUnity Clinical from the EMR.
Pulling OASIS visits and Diagnosis codes from myUnity Clinical into the EMR
Pulling visit clock in and clock out information from myUnity Clinical into Aveanna’s custom EVV (Electronic Visit Verification).

Impact
Integrating myUnity Clinical has enabled Aveanna to have a more streamlined approach to recording patient visits, recording time around visits, diagnosis, and other industry formats such as OASIS forms. They now have a set of tools that are robust and better suited to their needs.


### LG Electronics - New Application Design
LG Electronics (LGE) Commercial Air Conditioning (CAC) division is based out of the United States and supports the sales, training and operations of LGE’s commercial and residential air conditioning products. LGE CAC has seen considerable growth in the last few years and to support the increased customer order management needs as well as internal forecasting efforts, LGE created an online portal called Sales & Operations Planning Site (SOPS).
The LGE SOPS portal is critical to the management of commercial orders by Sales Reps and internal LGE staff. The orders, also referred to as “Projects,” have long lead times and play a significant role in demand forecasting for manufacturing efforts.
LGE CAC selected SolTech to enhance the functional elements of the existing SOPS architecture, to overcome current system limitations, and to provide additional sophistication to meet the demands of the growing business and customer needs. The project initially started out as a transition and support effort but then grew into a re-design and re-build of SOPS.

### SmartPM - Custom Application Development
SmartPM, formerly Construx Solutions, is an independent consultancy and advisory firm for large construction projects. Their job is to help their clients identify and mitigate the risks of delays, disruptions and budget overruns. Through years of experience, SmartPM has developed a unique process to capture and analyze key data metrics during construction projects that are above and beyond what is typically gathered by project managers. This data in turn is analyzed and used to identify risks early and address them before they impact the project.
To better scale their business and to improve the quality, quantity and timeliness of data collected, SmartPM embarked on creating an application that could be put in the hands of construction teams in the field, and in turn automate many of the key data capturing and analysis performed.


### LG HVAC - Salesforce Customization
The LGE HVAC division was experiencing an issue where multiple sources of product, sales and marketing data existed in different formats and locations. This was preventing LGE from using their data to make business decisions that could positively affect their revenue goals. Updating, merging and keeping that data current was also becoming a challenge.
Having several successful SOLTECH project experiences on other non-salesforce related work, LGE asked SOLTECH to take a look at this problem and offer solutions. Using Salesforce, SOLTECH was able to quickly resolve some existing development challenges while also providing a holistic design that encompassed the sharing of data between Operations, Sales and LGE’s various web properties that also require regular data updates.

### Black Book - Automotive Editorial System
Black Book, renowned in the automotive industry for providing reliable vehicle pricing information, engaged us to revamp their automotive editorial system, Autobahn.
 
The original Autobahn, a 14-year-old system built with outdated Microsoft tools and SQL Server, faced limitations in scalability and efficiency. Black Book required a modernized platform to facilitate efficient publishing and data distribution, along with advanced analytics support. This new system needed to enhance editorial capabilities, reduce manual work, and provide suggestions for price adjustments.
 
We adopted Agile methodology to develop Autobahn 2.0, leveraging Amazon’s cloud services for its foundation. Our team built an internal-facing web application and a cloud API for data management and external publication. The web application, designed using HTML/CSS/Typescript with Angular 2.0, ensured a clear separation between user interface and business logic. The logic layer, built with Node.js in TypeScript, streamlined data processing and analysis.
 
Initially focused on Powersports and Recreational Vehicle channels, the project quickly expanded to cover all Black Book channels, including Used Cars, New Cars, Collectible Cars, and Heavy & Medium Duty Trucks across the U.S. and Canada. Our collaborative approach included mentoring and integrating Black Book’s development team into the SCRUM/Agile process, fostering a successful partnership and comprehensive system overhaul.


### Next Marketing - Software Development
Next Marketing offers many marketing services including management and support of channel marketing efforts. Next Marketing supports large clients engaged in front line partnerships, with management of their joint marketing efforts using software. These joint marketing partnerships rely heavily on workflow management, budget tracking, activity tracking, audit logging, and the capture of market spend documentation to allow the partnerships to work effectively.
The legacy software put into place has been effective in achieving its original goals, but is quickly approaching the end of its life due to both aging technical infrastructure and an outdated user experience, making it difficult to use for new clients. 
SOLTECH assisted Next Marketing with this project initially via a short Solutions Design phase. The primary objective was to capture a more detailed list of functional requirements for each of the identified features and to create a visual design for the key user interface screen of the application. During this Solutions Design phase, the blueprint for implementation was created, as well as a detailed development estimate.
Next Marketing was able to present their client with a viable product that allowed them to more effectively use their allocated joint marketing budget by creating a user friendly, malleable piece of workflow software that met all business needs.


### ACT Bridge - Application Design and Build
ACT Bridge is an innovative start-up that offers online tools to medium and large businesses for recruitment, career development, performance evaluations, and succession planning. ACT Bridge’s vision is to change the way managers and human resources look at an organization. Rather than focus on evaluating and promoting employees based on the existing organizational chart, ACT Bridge’s product suite maps each job to the key skills and knowledge that are critical for success.
This approach uniquely allows businesses to look at the strengths and weaknesses of individuals and match them to the right job during recruitment and career development as well as make better staffing evaluations and promotion decisions during performance reviews and succession planning.
With SOLTECH's help, ACT Bridge was able to take their concept, and through an iterative solution design process, productize their ideas into an application blueprint, and then build a viable product to sell to the market place. As intended, ACT Bridge’s beta product customers were moved to the production version of TRUE Talent. New customers, including Fortune 500 companies, are currently awaiting the release of TRUE Succession Planning, which is the final application in the product suite.
