We had an idea of creating a music streaming platform (Youtop) that will be available worldwide and have all of the features that music streaming giants have.

Having little understanding of the technical part of the project, we relied on the team of professionals of Solidy to develop the whole project from scratch. They developed iOS and Android applications as well as a web version of Youtop.

When we were looking for reliable software development companies, one of our partners, who had worked with Solidy before, recommended them. After checking out their portfolio and having a couple of calls, we decided to cooperate with them, as we really liked their working style and professionalism.

After working hand in hand with their team for over 2 weeks and brainstorming the project they started their research and got back to us with mock-ups of the design of the platform. After getting our approval they started working on the development of the project.

Every week our teams were planning the sprints together. By testing the functions on a weekly basis, they were and are still improving the platform and adding new features. For the website they used - Java Script and its libraries, iOS - Swift, Android - Kotlin.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have been working with Solidy for over 5 years and throughout these years they have always delivered on time. They never miss a deadline and are very professional when it comes to follow up communications.

Initially we were planning to launch Youtop within a year, but they managed to provide the MVP in 7 months. They are constantly adding new features to Youtop and are finding and fixing existing errors. The project is ongoing, and we are going to continue working with Solidy.

Agile management style has been implemented throughout the project. Email was the main communication tool in the beginning of our partnership, and then as we got to know each other better, we switched to skype, WhatsApp and Zoom.

Their collaboration style is professional and very friendly, which makes working with them very easy. They are open to feedback and value it a lot, which is quite unique.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

During these 5 years that we have been working with them, everything has been going smoothly and as planned, so there is actually nothing to be improved.

Nest is a cashback system platform which gives its users bonuses that they can collect and use on their car expenses or order online insurance.I am the CEO of the company.

We hired Solidy for developing iOS and Android applications as well as an admin panel for the first ever cashback platform in Armenia enabling its users to get bonuses from any of their car expenses,by converting them into points and using them for ordering insurance onlie.

We shortlisted the best software development companies in the area and requested their portfolios.After having a couple of meetings with the teamof Solidy we decided to work with them as both their expertise and their cost estimate were perfect for our project.

Within a week after singing the contract we started the brainstorming processes with the project managers.They were quick to come up with the design and soon delivered the MVP.It took them 3 monts to deliver both applications and the admin panel after the approval of the MVP.The technologies used were React.js,Node.js,Kotlin,Swift.

There are 2 project managers in the team and they are our main points of contact.Also,8 developers and one desinger.

In just a couple of months the application became very popular and generated a huge user base.It was on top of the Armenian App Store and Google Play.With every update the customer satisfaction was growing and so were the numbers of downloads.The process is still ongoing and we are still developing the platform with Solidy.

We were in touch with 2 dedicated project managers at the same time.They were very responsible and were keeping us updated on all of the changes.The tools that we used were Jira,Trello,Slack and of course emailing.We are still working with them and the processes go like clockwork.

I would like to highlight the incredibly easy-to-use admin panel that they have developed for us. It makes the mundane processes much easier and faster for us.The push notification's feature is very useful and helps us to connect to our users much more easily.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We do not see anything that could have been improved us throughout our cooperation they have been very professional and responsible.To prove my point ,I would like to mention that we have been working with them up untill now,and are planning to continue doing so.
