I am the operations manager for a company called Be Good. We are a nutrition shop working in cooperation with a  logistics company. We sell multivitamins, healthy products, and we promote a healthy way of life. We also support people involved in sports such as bodybuilders, yoga, and our business also includes some sports equipment as well, in addition to weights. We supply anything that is needed for a healthy and happy life.

What challenge were you trying to address with Software Studio Daniel Mróz?

We wanted to be able to bring our products online and update our outdated website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Software Studio Daniel Mróz built our website for us. Daniel (Owner) was so helpful, and he came up with the idea of bringing everything online. He explained how it would all work and all the business structure behind it. He explained it nicely and clearly so we were able to understand how it would look and what was required from us. He also ensured full support from his side.

The website is his creation. He explained to us that it was possible to buy the domain and estimated the cost of it. Additionally, he prepared the whole business plan for us, and we agreed to it. We basically bought the platform and he started working on it. Daniel even brought us a scanner and thanks to that, we are able to manage all the stock we have in our shop.

What is the team composition?

Daniel is the only person we worked with. He does everything on his own, and he is our hero. 

How did you come to work with Software Studio Daniel Mróz?

As I mentioned, we have another company that is a logistics company, which sends parcels mainly between Ireland and Poland. Daniel helps us with that as well but not as much as the Be Good project.

Daniel is Polish, and we met him through the business. He was asking us about what we do, and the owner of our company explained it to him. Daniel asked if we needed help and we started cooperating together.  

How much have you invested in them?

We invested around €4,000–€5,000 Euros. (approximately $5,000–$6,000).

What is the status of this engagement?

We initially started working with him two years ago on small projects. The actual process of creating the website started in January 2021, and it finished in March 2021. We don’t know how much longer the lockdown will be, so it is good to keep the business on track.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Because of the lockdown, it is hard for us to have any specific metrics. However, the website has been working perfectly, and we are now able to add our stock onto the website.

Daniel is amazing. I had a few ideas on my own, but I didn’t know how to conduct them. He helped me with everything. If I have any ideas, I go to him and he will let us know if it is possible or if he needs more time. If something isn’t possible, he won’t charge us for that which is nice.

How did Software Studio Daniel Mróz perform from a project management standpoint?

Whenever I have a question or problem, we mostly communicate through Facebook, email, messenger, or TeamViewer. Daniel can always get into my computer to see what is happening so I can have everything organized. If I don’t know how to do something, he also shows me what I have to do step by step through the application.

The owners of the company are usually very busy, and they can’t schedule the time for training, so Daniel had the idea of recording the training so that we can do the training whenever we have the time to do it. The last training was about adding the products to the website. Even if we don’t remember something, we can always come back to the training that Daniel recorded.

What did you find most impressive about them?

His availability is incredibly impressive. I know he had other clients, but I always felt like I was his only client. He always has time to help me. Even if I was to call him in the middle of the night, he would be very calm and polite, and he would fix the issue. It is amazing that I can always count on him. He is a very good person with a good heart.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are always things in our lives that could be done better. Daniel has never ever let me down, all of his ideas are great, and everything works perfectly from the time that he implements things or makes changes. There is nothing better that he could do, and I am very satisfied with his services. I love working with Daniel and he is perfect.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you are thinking about starting your business or have an idea for a small project, and you don’t know how and where to start, I would definitely recommend Daniel and his company to start with.

He is very good with basics and he explains everything clearly. He has a plan and the structure behind it. It is very easy to cooperate with him. Don’t hesitate because he has some great experience.

I’m in the progress of changing my packaging, logo, and general visual look, so I hired Software Studio for their support.

Software Studio is designing and developing my website. One of the features they’ve worked on is making card and PayPal payment integrations for the site. Their team is also managing my SEO and advertising on Google, Facebook, and other platforms. My product packaging is also being designed by them.

A friend had used Software Studio for his interior decoration business and recommended them to me. I chose them because it would be easier for me to use the Polish language, and they had a very good offer. They proposed a three-year contract at a very good price, covering the full development and advertising services. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Software Studio in January 2019 and we’re still working together. I believe my site will be complete in March 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Once my site is complete, I’ll start selling my products on it, but I don’t have any results yet. The product packaging is almost complete, too. I’m happy with the pricing, the work, and their communication.

We mainly talk through email, and occasionally through the phone. I also met with Daniel before the COVID-19 pandemic.
