Our website was dated and needed to include additional pages that we were unable to do inhouse (as we didn't have the right skillset). By bringing SoBold onboard, our website now looks modern, visually appealing and easy to navigate to get to the right content.

The website needed a refresh to include the new offerings of the business plus improve SEO. After much discussion amongst the team, we decided to go with SoBold. They were involved from the beginning and ensure the website was to our satisfaction.

I'm a Marketing Manager based in the UK working for an Irish healthcare technology company. I work with our UK brands, but we also have a presence in Australia and New Zealand.

For what projects/services did your company hire SoBold?

One of our UK brands had a very old website that was no longer fit for purpose. It did not rank well for SEO and did not allow us to effectively track leads. In addition to this, the brand was entering a new marketplace and needed a website that would make a lasting impression and help to convert visitors to enquiries.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

SoBold have done other projects within the Group and had always delivered effective projects that met KPI's and were well-received, both internally and with our customers. They spent time understanding our market and objectives, to ensure that we received a finished website that met our expectations and delivered against our goals.

Initially we had a number of calls to ensure that SoBold had a good idea of what I needed, which allowed them to provide me with a comprehensive quote. Once the work was agreed, SoBold sent me a Q&A document that asked for in-depth information about the project, objectives, must-haves, like-to-haves etc. Once I completed this they produced user profiles for our target audience and I provided feedback until these were accurate. They then produced the designs in Adobe XD for my feedback. Once these were signed off, SoBold used them to create the website in WordPress.

I had 3 main points of contact, Will (Managing Director), Laura (Senior UX/UI Designer) and Anna (Project Manager).

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Site traffic is up 40% month-on-month and enquiries have increased in both quantity and quality. The website is now much more user friendly and informative. Our internal teams are now able to direct customers and prospects to the website, which wasn't possible before.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

All 3 of my main contacts at SoBold were open, honest and responsive throughout the project. They understood my vision and worked closely with me to achieve it. They invited me to work from their offices on a couple of occasions, which was great from a collaboration perspective but also helped me to build relationships with the team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Everyone at SoBold is a genuine pleasure to work with. They're great at communicating clearly and being honest if they felt something couldn't work and suggesting alternatives. Their experience with web design was obvious and it was definitely the reason that the project was such a success.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

SoBold are a busy, successful agency, so I have to work closely with them to ensure our deadlines align and my expectations are realistic.
