Snap SEO

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m an executive of Canadian Climate Control, an HVAC services company in Edmonton.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Snap SEO?

Our website was old and decrepit, so we asked Snap SEO to make a new one.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Snap SEO has designed and developed our website. Initially, I showed them what I liked and didn’t like. Then, they showed me a few different layouts, and I got to pick and choose or even take ideas from other sites. The team has also provided content writing services, off-page SEO, and local SEO services. Moreover, Snap SEO has gotten us on some news websites and boosted our Google Business Profile. Currently, we’re doing a hybrid of SEO and AEO.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with 2–5 teammates from Snap SEO.

How did you come to work with Snap SEO?

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because they were a great culture fit, had good value for the cost, and had company values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in April 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve gotten a new website, and more people are calling us. We’ve also been consistently on the first page of Google search results, and sometimes we’re in the top three for our target keywords. Overall, we’ve seen a 381% increase in website traffic and a 72% increase in calls.

How did Snap SEO perform from a project management standpoint?

They deliver on time or early. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Other SEO companies have ghosted me, but Snap SEO responds within an hour of sending an email, so everything is super fast. I also like that I can call them, and they can sit on the phone with me when I need help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they need to improve.

How did you find Snap SEO?

Online Search

Why did you select Snap SEO over others?

• High ratings
• Close to my geographic location
• Great culture fit
• They explained everything

How many teammates from Snap SEO were assigned to this project?

2-5 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We had an algorithm, but didn't know how to put it into code and yet, also create something functional. We started with a simple chart. It wasn't the best but Snap SEO helped us with research on what actually makes a good user epxerience. Something that our users would love. That worked great.

They then helped us do research on the top locations and then wrote content for each page. Each step was clear and explained to us without asking.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our daily traffic went from 100 to over 500 visitors. Some days, on larger events we would get to over 1,000,000 visitors, plus all the refreshes. Our server crashed so they assisted us with an autoscaling server.  We also went from zero leads to thousands of active users.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The team was consitently early on meeting deadlines. If I had a question, or needed more time approving things they always worked with me as they liked the "human approach" and said "shit happens". We get it.

What was your primary form of communication with Snap SEO?

Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked the fact that before they even sold me on anything, they took time to answer all my questions. The video audit was quite informative and then when it came to content, it sounded as though it was me writing it, albiet, more polished :)

Are there any areas for improvement or something Snap SEO could have done differently?

So far no, I am happy
