I’m the account director and CEO of a business consulting firm. We do anywhere from licensing to contracts and marketing strategies for companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hoshaymi?

They built my website from the ground up.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hoshaymi went ahead and developed our entire website. They quoted us depending on how many pages we wanted and wrote some of the copy for the site, so they needed some information about the business.

Initially, they asked us what direction we wanted to go on how it’d look like. We had a vision with specific colors and images. In particular, I wanted light bulbs to show that we take ideas from the beginning stage to the end. Hoshaymi picked many images and sent them to us to approve them first. They sent us a website copy before they finished the site so we could pick and choose what we liked before it was publicized.

They do the maintenance for the website, and we’re currently working on another site.

What is the team composition?

I’d worked with their whole team. The CEO and his assistant are my main points of contact.

How did you come to work with Hoshaymi?

One of my friends owns a construction company. He recommended them because they did his website.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $5,000–$10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2020. The website was published at the beginning of January 2021, but our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve gotten a lot of great feedback. I’m very particular about my business because it’s my name, and I was very satisfied with the results. They really embodied my vision and did a great job.

Moreover, the website has impacted the company. Many of our clients are coming in through our site. We had a lot of fallback due to the two companies that I’ve been transitioning, but we’ve gotten a lot of clicks on social media and the website within the past six months. Additionally, they send me a report about engagement every six weeks, and we’ve seen a lot of growth.

How did Hoshaymi perform from a project management standpoint?

When we initially met, they asked about our budget and estimated how much it would cost. We had weekly meetings every Sunday. The team explained the process, and they included us throughout the stages of development. They made the great effort of keeping us in the loop so we wouldn’t worry about what they were doing, which took the stress away.

We communicated over emails and Google Meet. If there was something urgent that they needed us to approve, we had phone calls here and there.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The way they went about business was outstanding. They were very transparent about how they were progressing. We’ve done business with people who aren’t as transparent, and Hoshaymi not only listened to what we wanted, but they also made sure we were included in what they were building. They also tried to embody our brand, which was important for me. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think they can improve on anything. We didn’t have a bad experience; they did our website in a timely manner and did an excellent job.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since working with SLIQ BY DESIGN, our engagement on Google has gone up by 40%–50%. We also now rank first and second on Google search, which is great because we didn’t appear on search results before we started working with them.

I’ve had no problems contacting their team. They always get back to me within the same day and are available via phone, email, Zoom, and FaceTime.

Apart from the owner, I work with another person from their team who handles all aspects related to Google. He’s been doing a great job of explaining everything and going above and beyond to meet our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They don’t make false promises and always tell me the truth. For instance, when it comes to results, they show me both high and low numbers.

No, I don’t think there’s anything they need to improve on.

We first went to Sliq to create a new website for the jewelry store but after telling them what my objective was, they highly recommended a Landing Page rather than a website even though it costed less. The objective of the Landing Page was to get more leads through the door of people who are interested in buying an engagement ring.

First, I shared my idea with them, and they quickly provided me with a design for the landing page. After I approved the design, they added the text to the page. I only needed to review the text for accuracy, and once I did that, they immediately assembled the page in my landing page builder.

They demonstrated exceptional organization throughout the project's progress. The meetings were incredibly proactive, as they consistently presented all the necessary action steps for project completion. I knew their communication was good and their delivery was even better. 10/10 would recommend. I never expected my landing page would look this good.

I wouldn't say any improvements are necessary. As long as the customer stays communicative (which I was), the project progresses quickly. There were parts where I needed to check for accuracy, which is understandable since it's specific to my business. They worked swiftly on everything within their control, so the speed of the project really depends on how promptly the customer can review and provide feedback.
