I am the CEO and owner of SNI Studios.

What challenge were you trying to address with xR Studio?

We hired them to help us integrate an AR function into our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had an existing app, and the xR Studio team modified and reskinned the app. Then, they installed the AR function. The app was developed on Unity, and it’s available on Android and iOS — we made two different versions They also did some coding and basic updates to the UI.

We just completed the AR function. Once I finish the creative direction part of things, we’ll go into the next phase of the project.

What is the team composition?

I communicate directly with their director, but he works with other people. I’m not sure how many people are working on the project. 

How did you come to work with xR Studio?

I worked with 4–5 other developers. I originally only tasked xR Studio with adding the AR function. After working with them, I found that they were very professional, got the work done almost immediately, stayed in contact, and responded quickly. I found them on the website Fyber, and then I reconnected with them on social media. I then worked with him directly through WhatsApp and things like that.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $1,000–$1,250. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2020, and the collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We broke the project down into smaller parts, and I looked at how well they completed specific sections. Rather than having them work on the whole mobile app, I had them work on one thing at a time. Then, after 3–4 orders, I saw that they could complete each task with consistent quality, so I began giving them the task of running the app completely. I gave them more function, outside of the AR.

How did xR Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management is very good. They meet deadlines. A positive they’ve accomplished is that they’ve stuck to the job. We submitted the app to Android, and it worked out pretty easily, but it took a few weeks to submit the app to iOS. They continued to edit the app and stay in contact with me. We tried it 3–4 times. Eventually, they had to completely change the inserted data and reapply it. However, they kept working at it until it was completed, which was the biggest thing for me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I have been impressed by their commitment to the project. In my experience with others, as soon as they’ve completed one task, they’re done with the project, and it’s out of their hands. However, even after xR Studio completed the project, they made sure the app got onto the App Store. They stayed on the task and continued to message the App Store, despite being done with the work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not that I can think of.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come prepared with a good pre-production plan. Have a good idea of what you want so that they can deliver quickly and effectively.

Incendo design 3D environments in-house and wanted to enhance the customer experience. By utilising AR and VR clients can easily transform their ideas into reality. XR Studio helped design and develop the App from scratch.

We initially approached 5 companies prior to working with XR Studio. XR Studio stood out as their attention to detail is second to none and understood exactly what we were trying to achieve.

XR Studio created our App allowing clients to view our concept/design in AR and VR and interact with any of their exhibition stand and products. We provided the design model files so that XR could create the experience using Unity. Couldn't have chosen a better partner.

We worked with the MD, having several conversations about the project. Both parties agreed that the App should be of significant benefit to the end user. XR Studio totally understood the importance of this project as our business is making companies look good.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Incendo pay very close attention to detail and quality. This App allows us to demonstrate our capabilities in much greater detail. This project provides great value to our business.

We communicated via email and WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We had a number of calls during development. The project management was completely transparent. It was a great experience and we are working together again on some new and exciting projects.

We can't see any room for improvement.

I am the CEO of a sports analysis startup that reveals the most talented sports betting tipsters through a combination of human analysis and Big Data.

For what projects/services did your company hire xR Studio?

We hired xR Studio to develop an original Mobile App that simplifies a bettor's life.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal is to bring together and compares the forecasts of dozens of specialists in real-time while revealing their performance history. We needed to provide ultra-precise information, saving bettors many hours of research and analysis through a Mobile App.

SOLUTION

How did you select xR Studio?

We had previously worked with another development company and had a very bad experience. Therefore, we tested many other companies, it turned out that xR Studio perfectly matched our expectations and had superior skills. The many positive reviews about them confirmed our final choice.

Describe the project in detail.

The project is about a combination of human analysis and Big Data. The basis: The tipsters The human forecast still offers the most valuable insight. Algorithms are analysing large amounts of data with more and more accuracy. However, since technology lacks human emotion, it will never be able to catch the unexpected hint that a tipster can by using his intuition.

It is for this reason that tipsters remain the basis of the App. Data classification: The algorithms used by the App process the information to display the classification of the best tipsters according to the criteria chosen by the user:

• The total number of issued forecasts
• Desired date range
• Team involved
• League played

What was the team composition?

Initially we communicated with project manager on a weekly basis to discuss the concept with 2 developers in the loop. Once we finalized the roadmap, they doubled the size of their team and added 1 QA to make the process more efficient and it worked perfectly.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app is now live on Google play and App Store, there was some expectation regarding our concept on social media. The first version of the App was better than users expectation. We continue to develop the concept to update the application very soon, always in collaboration with xR Studio and taking into consideration the various feedback from the field.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The team did an exceptional job. We had weekly calls to discuss sprints. When there were difficulties or technical problems, the team was very reactive in solving problems, the challenge was taken up for a very successful first version of the application.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ideas and suggestions were of great help to the direction of the project. Their skills in data processing allowed us to make this project possible. The models provided have been reproduced identically.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing comes to mind. Their team seems capable of taking any challenge.
