I’m the founder and CEO of a pre-seed startup that specializes in IoT and data analytics.

What challenge were you trying to address with Skynox Tech Private Limited?
We had a UI for a very early version of a product, but it was not very good. We hired a UI designer to create a new layout, and then we contracted Skynox to program that design.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
We provided Skynox with a Figma project and a written spec sheet. They implemented the Figma project in ReactJS. I understand that they also do design, but we only had them do the programming of the UI.

We worked with two people from Skynox: a project manager and a designer.

I found them through a colleague. We met with them and laid out the project parameters, timeline, and budget. We also discussed their previous projects.

The team at Skynox dev was well versed in latest technologies and with discussion spanning for a week, we were clear on how to approach the product. The team is really robust and come up with designs and MVP in less than a month.

The first meeting was about discussing the idea. In the subsequent meeting tech-stack and other project requirements were discussed. Then the team move with user stories and in the next meeting they were finalized and the process move on to designs by UI/UX team at Skynox. After a week the development process started once the designs were finalized and the product was ready approximately in a month.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The primary contact point was the founder of the team and the UI/UX lead. However, there were feedbacks shared to me by the managers on slack. The team has some really good developers and designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The project comes out to be as my expectations. It was still a work in progress but the requested features for the version one are ready within a month. I move ahead with beta testing after that and will start working on version two.

The team visualizes the project requirements beforehand. All the key elements including designs and tech stack were well-thought-out before diving into the development. The communication was thorough and team was available for discussions or suggestions on platforms: Slack and Click up. For meetings the primary tool was ZOOM. The mockups were developed using Figma for a better collaboration between me and design team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The team has a creative people who are never short of new ideas. While developing the product many improvements were made and the suggestions from both design and developer teams are of great value. They really made the product a lot better than how I envisioned it

I am highly satisfied with the service provided by Skynox Team and highly grateful to the founder for listening to my vision with such a patience and help it to come to life in such a short span.

We had an idea and needed to create a MVP as base to start off. Skynox developed the prototype for this project because it was time sensitive, we didn't had the resources to do it in time and had previously made good experiences with them. The project is still ongoing because the next phase started now after the MVP.

I had done some projects with Skynox in the past and the founder and I have some other contact points so it was clear to me to do the project with Skynox. They have a lot of experience with startups, know how to ask the right questions, have the focus on what's critical for success of the projects and have the right knowledge of technology needed.

We started with a call to explain the idea behind our product and to define the expected results and the time frame. It was split in two phases: creating a future proof design system and implementing the first version with a subset of features and the design system.
After the design sprint was done and approved, they started with implementing the first platform version. Design was made in Figma and shared, tech stack of platform includes several web technologies and database infrastructure.

My main contact was the founder himself. During the phases, there was always one person responsible for the needed department involved. For example one person for the design team that discussed ideas with me and kept me up to date with the latest changes. Multiple developers were involved in the implementation phase.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We now have a solid base to go further with the project. We didn't launch the project yet because it's still in development. The results of the sprints were always what we agreed and expected.

Communication is well structured and efficient. We use slack to have all the information transparent to everyone involved. GitHub is used for code and issues. Timelines are always discussed upfront and worked out as planned. The requirements were prepared by us as features and managed by Skynox then for the sprints. We also have a direct communication channel over Telegram.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They think through the whole project from the beginning and make sure that everything is well understood. They also bring in their own ideas into the process which leads to good and creative discussions to improve the specifications even further. The delivery time was very fast and the whole process is very smooth.
