Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the president of Fraser, Molloy & Associates, LLC. We are a distributor of fastener equipment in New England. Our customer base is from metal fabricators to steel erectors. We sell fasteners, stud welding accessories, and equipment.

We engaged them to generate our monthly financials and control our inventory’s accounting.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The inventory is a big part of our cost because we are a distributor, so they come in and do inventory checks, accounts, and reconcile them to our records. From time to time, I also ask questions about their services.

I work with Andrew (President).

I found them on the internet. They went through our interview process. We also checked their references, and they were highly recommended.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with them since March 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Now, I understand why one of Skyline’s third-party clients hesitated to recommend them; He didn’t want to lose them once they become busy with other customers.

They’ve been extremely detail-oriented and thorough. Moreover, they’re also persistent when there are variances and they find the root cause of it in order to come up with recommendations.

How did Skyline Accounting perform from a project management standpoint?

On the inventory side, Andrew follows a weekly process and I also communicate with him weekly. He’s very responsive, and we connect through emails and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Andrew doesn’t stop until he rectifies an issue. Furthermore, he has good people skills and asks employees for information without being accusatory or intimidating.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t think I have anything on them. I have a handle on evaluating Andrew, and I’m very happy with our partnership.
