The engagement ran in two phases. The first was a fast, clean initial site — well built, responsive, and live quickly, which gave us a credible place to send buyers while the larger build took shape.

The second phase was the full site: architecture, design, and development across the Services and Journal sections, with our brand standards implemented page by page. Lina and her team delivered exactly what we asked for and then some. The site we have now reads the way we want the company to read — sophisticated, substantive, and unmistakbly ours.

 Throughout both phases, Lina and her team were quick to respond to requests and revisions. Turnaround was consistently fast and the collaboration was easy.

SEO is the current phase and it's off to a strong start. What stands out is Lina's ability to listen. she understood our company vision and, more importantly, who we need to reach with it. That's not always a given with a hired agency, and it's the reason the search work is aimed at the right audience rather than generic traffic.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're a young firm in a category where credibility is the product, so our measures aren't traffic counts. They're whether the site does the work we need it to do before a conversation starts. By that measure it succeeds. We send the site directly to Fortune 500 security leaders, general counsel, and family office advisers — a demanding, well-informed audience — and it holds up. Prospects arrive understanding how we're structured and why that structure matters, which means the first call starts further along than it used to. The design is the other outcome. We sell a standard, and a site that looked ordinary would have undercut the claim before anyone read a word. Skycab implemented our brand standards precisely and built something restrained and confident rather than loud. The aesthetic carries the message as much as the copy does. SEO is early and we're not going to overstate it. What we can say is that the strategy is aimed at the right buyers rather than at volume, which is the harder thing to get right and the reason we expect it to work.

Delivery was on time throughout, including on requests that came from our side mid-build. Scope shifted more than once as we refined what we wanted the site to be, and Skycab absorbed those changes without friction or renegotiation. What set the working relationship apart was patience. Lina and her team took the time to understand what we were trying to build — not just the pages we asked for, but the impression the site needed to make on a particular kind of buyer. That interest was genuine, and it showed up in the work. We rarely had to explain something twice.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Access to the person in charge. Lina was engaged at every step —not a name on the contract who hands the work to a junior team after the kickoff call. Decisions got made in the conversation rather than three days later.

There's also a personal investment in getting it right that you don't buy with a bigger budget. She cares whether the work is good, and that showed up in details we never asked for and wouldn't have noticed missing until later.

 For a firm our size, that combination mattered more than scale would have.

Are there any areas for improvement or something skycab could have done differently?

Nothing significant. If we're honest, the only limit on the engagement was one we set ourselves — we were conscious of how much of her time we were asking for. Lina never once signaled it. She stayed on calls as long as we needed and answered every email, regardless of hour or effort. For a firm our size, working directly with the principal was worth more than scale would have been.
