I’m the technology director at ReminderMedia.

What challenge were you trying to address with SimplyPHP?

There were a limited amount of people we found to hire in our area, and we needed to expand faster than that. We decided to look for development firms we could partner with.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SimplyPHP has worked almost exclusively with customer-facing objects, though they’ve also worked on a few internal tools as well. The team has worked with Laravel PHP as well as some custom frameworks.

What is the team composition?

We work with about six people per project. We’ll have team leads on our side, who are supplemented with their developers.

How did you come to work with SimplyPHP?

Someone else at the company found them, but I’m pretty sure it was through an online search for PHP developers.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With SimplyPHP, we’ve successfully deployed a lot of projects over the last couple of years. The team has provided us with some great developers who have been able to almost lead projects on their own. They’re a team of very driven developers who enjoy programming.

How did SimplyPHP perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management falls on our side, as they supplement our projects. However, they’re very communicative and responsive, and being in the same time zone is really beneficial. We mostly use Microsoft Teams to stay in touch and share screens, and we use Jira and Confluence to track tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their developers set SimplyPHP apart. They’ve provided us with some really talented resources who are very intelligent and get projects done.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

With all projects, go in knowing what you want and have clear communication about it.
