As an AI startup with a horizontal use case, we were constantly testing and iterating in pursuit of PMF, and the Simple Tiger team adapted quickly to our shifting needs.

Even though our priorities moved fast, the entire Simple Tiger team remained open to feedback, quick to clarify ideas, and proactive in getting the information they needed to do their best work. Despite our mercurial nature at times, nothing threw them off and they seemed to effortlessly match the pace we required.

On the ads side, we also appreciated how often they served as a sounding board as we mulled over certain narratives or areas of focus and shared thoughtful insights that helped in refining our messaging.

SimpleTiger helped us improve our visiblity for traditional search as well as LLM searches. They started with a comprehensive technical website audit to identify issues and walked us through the appropriate fixes. From there, they mapped each of our web pages to relevant keywords and developed briefs to help us tailor our content accordingly. They also created an editorial calendar for our blog and write blog posts on a regular monthly cadence to help us fill content gaps. They regularly run reports and competitive analyses to help us gauge results and adjust tactics accordingly. 

With the advent of LLMs, SimpleTiger identified GEO best practices to help us rank in Chat-GPT, Perplexity, and other engines. Their insights helped us quickly gain share of voice in this emerging channel. They supplemented their traditional SEO deliverables with deliverables for AI search as well, running additional site audits and providing content briefs to help us tailor our content for LLMs. They also provide detailed reporting of how we perform versus competitors in AI search — it can be hard to get this visibility elsewhere, as the LLM search field is just emerging. They bootstrapped an internal proprietary solution for tracking AI search visibility that is very cutting-edge.

They are very cutting-edge — they were extremely quick to identify best practices for LLM and AI search. They were able to audit our site and help us create processes to ensure all of our content was optimized to get pulled into LLM results. They also put together their own proprietary reporting tool to measure AI search visibility, since there were none in market at the time. This has helped us secure a huge competitive advantage when it comes to AI search. These tools are becoming more important as companies consult them as they're comparing vendors, in conjunction with traditional search.

They could be sometimes more experimental, and make big bold bets into new areas including AI and LLMs. I believe they will be willing to explore and push new boundaries, but you need to bet big on them to change their path.
