• BEGINNING STAGE: A bit all over the place and hectic. Not organised and teams in sync and held responsible. 
• MIDDLE/END: they redeemed themselves with a great project manager who held himself accountable for the mismanagement at the beginning. It ended up as a positive experience but that took too long for what was initially proposed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their design skills and creativity. We were impressed by their ability to read into brands and take the best out of them, even for offline brands / products.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Significa could have done differently?

Organisation, accountability, responsibility. Unfortunately despite their great design philosophy, when communication isn't done correctly, clients tend to take out their merit just because of that and it's not good for them. Their design process deserves better management!

They delivered on time considering how scope was very fluid throughout the duration of the projection. They were always responsive at all hours when questions were asked

I do not have any experience designing sites and sometimes felt that i should have been made aware of potential shortcomings or needs. For instance spent a lot of money on a photographer most of who's pictures weren't needed and many of which couldn't be used because they were portrait rather than required landscape view.

I thought the web design was adequate but not superior and Significa was implementing tasks rather than directing me to the art of the possible for someone who is not conversant in this language.

The scope of work included branding. This consisted of creating a logo, colors, fonts, social post templates, profile pictures, and banners. This culminated with a consolidated brand book. Once the branding was completed, we went through the UX process to outline and wireframe the website and its structure. Once that was completed, they applied the branding complete the mobile responsive UI work.

We were assigned a project manager that set up a schedule in Notion for the project. We had weekly standing meetings to review the work and progress. We also would communicate in Slack during the week for questions and project updates.
