What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?
We approached Signature to create authentic video testimonials that showed our members’ experience working with us. We wanted our testimonials to feel fresh, modern, and reflective of our members.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Signature guided us through the entire video production process. First, we met to discuss our objectives, and Signature executed a plan for the testimonials. They were responsible for the whole creative process, including storyboarding, scriptwriting, and coordinating the video shoot. 

During the video shoot, they filmed our members talking about their experiences with us and how our organization helped them over the last few years and during the COVID-19 pandemic. After they filmed the testimonials, they began the editing process, including audio mixing and sound design. 

In total, they created 13 video testimonials, spanning between 60–90 seconds, which we used as multimedia assets for our live convention. Aside from the testimonials, Signature made three informational videos to help us open the event. Since working with Signature, we’ve used testimonials to support our recruitment and marketing initiatives.

What is the team composition?

We worked with 8–10 team members from Signature, but we mainly interfaced with Chris (Founder & Creative Director), Rachel (Producer), and our account manager. 

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

Signature was referred to us by another trusted vendor. We reviewed their portfolio, which showcased fresh, dynamic videos, and interviewed them. We appreciated their enthusiasm and felt their video production style fit well with our brand, so we moved forward with the engagement.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Signature between April–August 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re thrilled with the results and feel the project was exceptionally successful. Our primary goal was to generate dynamic and fresh video content for the live event, and Signature helped us do so. 

We showcased the videos Signature produced at our live event and received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Our attendees were excited by the videos, and many requested copies to post on their social media accounts. 

We’ve just started using the videos as promotional material for our recruitment and marketing initiatives, so we don’t have hard metrics yet. We look forward to seeing how the videos affect our website and social media traffic. 

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Signature is one of the best organizations I’ve ever worked with. They were excellent project managers and paid close attention to detail. I also appreciated their transparency around the budget. They communicated effectively via phone and text and provided weekly status updates via email. We also met via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with Signature’s creative energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm. They were equally invested in the project as we were and dedicated significant effort to help us meet our goals. The team consistently listened to us and refined their plans leading up to the video shoot to ensure we met our objectives. I appreciated how deeply they cared about the outcome; they treated the project as if it were theirs.

Even though there’s always room for improvement, I think Signature did a great job on every front.

As with any project, knowing what you want going into the engagement with Signature is essential. Try to map a clear finish line and communicate how you’d like the final deliverable to look.

I’m the talent acquisition specialist at KUBRA, a customer experience management (CXM) solutions company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

We needed help filming recruitment and client testimonial videos.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SVG helped us plan and produce a few recruitment videos and get client testimonials. Before hiring them, we researched and saw other culture videos to define what we wanted to see in ours, so we provided them with those examples. Then, they helped us develop the videos’ concept and structure.

SVG also gave us an outline to follow, detailing how many interviews we could do in each work day and how long those interviews would last. Additionally, they helped us prepare some of those questions needed for the interviews.

The videos SVG produced ranged from 20 seconds to four minutes long. For the most part, those were on-location film videos, but some of them included small animated portions, like intros. For every project, they brought everything needed; we basically only had to show up.

Once, we were nominated for an award and were part of the ceremony. For this event, we had to present a pre-recorded video with a theme — ours was The Lion King. We had a small budget for this video, but SVG still came to our site and made it work, scaling back their team and equipment.

For our latest recording session, we had to shoot in our Arizona office with a local crew because they couldn’t come with us. Still, Chris (Creative Director) wanted to supervise and lead the whole shoot, so SVG helped us set up a stand with an iPad so that Chris could lead the interview remotely as if he were present. Additionally, they had a special software piece they set up for us so that we could also do remote interviews.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Chris, a producer, a couple of sound engineers, an editor, and a couple of other people involved in postproduction.

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

We were researching for a video production company that could be a good fit to film our first recruitment video. We have a really unique culture, so we wanted to make sure to find someone who understood where we’re coming from and could capture our great people and what we do.

We met with various video production companies, but SVG really stood out from the rest due to their personality. They understood our vision from the beginning, and they provided us with samples of their past work so that we could get a feel of their style and capabilities.

We had never done a project like this before, so SVG was really good at explaining what the process would be like. They also ensured to understand our vision and offered their expertise to come up with a general concept to feel confident about what we were doing.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $100,000 CAD (approximately $78,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together on our first recruitment video around March 2017, and we’ve kept hiring them for video production ever since. Our latest project ended in August 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Recently, we launched the newest video that SVG produced for us, and it got around 40,000 impressions in just one day. We’ve published the videos created by SVG on different platforms. The main recruitment video is on YouTube and on our careers page, and the client testimonials are on our company’s website. Additionally, we use other videos internally as part of our onboarding process.

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

SVG’s project management was fantastic, and their communication was great. They were very communicative regarding establishing timelines, so I knew when to expect things right from the start. They were also excellent at giving me updates and telling me when I would get the first, second, and third drafts. Moreover, they were very available to jump on a call with me when needed to ensure that they understood our feedback.

Staying on budget was very important for us, and SVG truly understood that. Therefore, they worked with us around budgetary challenges and scaled their team down whenever necessary. They also found alternate solutions for those challenges, constantly striving to stay within budget and ultimately achieving it.

For example, the remote interview solution was really innovative, and it was awesome to see that remote work didn’t stop them from giving us a great experience and leading everything. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with, and they went above and beyond to ensure that we got what we were looking for.

SVG used Wistia to share edits with us. Using this platform, we could pause the drafts and leave comments on those time stamps, so their team always knew what part of the video needed changes. Additionally, they used a recording software tool for the remote interviews. As for communication, we used email, phone calls, and video calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The energy that SVG brings into projects is impressive; they’re really excited and passionate about what they do. Additionally, they have a unique way of listening, which made us feel heard while simultaneously providing us with excellent input based on their expertise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Honestly, no. They were so awesome and pleasurable to work with that I even wanted to go out for a drink with them after a day of shooting.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

SVG works best if you give them direction; it is hard for them to know what you want if you don’t tell them. Still, they’re good at figuring out what you want, but the more direction you can provide, the better experience they’ll deliver.

I'm the director of product marketing at a SaaS platform in the higher education industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

We were looking to increase our brand awareness and understanding of our solutions through brand and explainer videos. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked on two projects with Signature Video Group. For each project, we laid out our requirements for the storyboards and collaborated with them to develop our vision for the videos. Signature Video Group facilitated all other aspects of the video production process. 

The first project was a live-action video, for which Signature Video Group did storyboarding, writing, and talent sourcing. We wanted a video of an orchestra of administrators. They found actors with various skills, including musical talent, to communicate our vision. Once the filming was done, Signature Video Group did the editing and sound mixing. Their team provided several drafts for feedback before the final video was released. 

The second project we did with Signature Video Group was an animated video. They also helped us with storyboarding and scripting for that video. Their team did custom drawings for the 65–70 second video.

We had one primary point of contact throughout the partnership. However, we'd occasionally have additional teammates in our meetings. 

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

My colleague found Signature Video Group because they're in the same region. It was a priority to have a firm that could film on-site. We also considered Signature Video Group's pricing, portfolio, and video production capabilities. We needed a firm that could do live-action and animated videos. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $70,000–$80,000 with Signature Video Group. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement with Signature Video Group was from January–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were very pleased with Signature Video Group's quality of work and overall service. On YouTube, the first video has around 300 views, and the second has about 100. We got qualitative, positive responses from our desired customer base — the videos were representative of our customers' needs. At this point, though, we can't contribute specific revenue gains or new customer metrics to the videos yet. 

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Signature Video Group had excellent project management — they met deadlines and executed projects well. Typically, we communicated through email but did have the occasional video meeting. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Signature Video Group facilitated a great client relationship by efficiently managing the project and expectations. They had consistent and timely communication — we were never left wondering where they were in a project. Signature Video Group went above and beyond, providing edits on short deadlines to ensure they meet our needs. Signature Video Group really immersed themselves in our project to create stronger, more cohesive video scripts.

I'd advise customers to have a strong vision for their project and understand the entire video production process.

Signature Video Group produced a short video to reintroduce our company to our audience. We weren’t quite sure how we wanted to go about the project, so we relied heavily on Signature Video Group to help us develop every aspect of the project. Their team pulled together our ideas to form a cohesive plan. They took that information and transformed it into a script and project plan. Signature Video Group’s team provided us with samples of the imagery they created, which aligned perfectly with our vision. 

Signature Video Group’s team came on-site to film after completing a site inspection. They were very respectful of our teammates and the other companies that shared our workspace. Their team also handled all of the editing and audio mixing and added closed captions.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project with Signature Video Group was from April–November 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Signature Video Group delivered our final video in November 2021; we published the video on our website, e-newsletter, and social media accounts. The feedback from viewers has been very positive, and we plan to relaunch the video for more campaigns. We’ve extracted shorter clips from the video to use in our social media campaigns and commercials. We had an excellent experience with Signature Video Group. 

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The scope of work Signature Video Group proposed was exactly what they provided regarding the project timeline and cost. They used an online proposal tool that walked us through the entire project. Signature Video Group’s team was very professional, accommodating, easy to work with, and provided great project suggestions. Typically, we communicated with them through Google Meet and Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Signature Video Group’s teammates were creative visionaries and very professional.

I had a great experience with Signature Video Group — there is nothing for them to improve.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

Our employee retention was low, especially in hospitality and tourism, so we wanted to create a video series that could demonstrate our career opportunities, going from entry-level to management and supervising positions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Signature Video Group produced a video series that showed all the unique career opportunities in our industry. The process was a fast-tracked project because of its urgency; we only had a call and provided a document with what we needed, our objectives, and our goals. On their end, they only had to figure out what to do logistically, so we collaboratively created a list of questions and a storyboard to ensure that we would connect with more people.

It was an interview-style video that they produced for us, including a lot of B-roll, which was amazing.

What is the team composition?

We worked with Chris (Founder), Rachel (Producer), Samantha (Senior Account Manager), and their three filming crew members.

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

We’ve done a lot of previous projects with them. We put out an RFP for this task, and we liked them the best, and since we had good collaborations in the past, we were happy to work with them again.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2021–March 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to their work, we had a lot of positive responses from the audience. They demonstrated the values that we were looking for. Also, many tourism governing bodies in the country gave great feedback on how good, inspirational, and relevant Signature Video Group’s work was.

Overall, we were delighted with their product, including the interviews, editing, and the ability to create the content we needed. In addition, several people were using it as part of their onboarding and hiring process throughout social media — this project was a success.

Their team was great; they were personable and helped our interviewees to make the process more enjoyable. In terms of communication, we used Zoom to touch base and ensure they understood our expectations. We also used email and phone calls to solve quick questions or make clarifications — they were amazing responding fast, which we appreciated because we needed this promptly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their genuine interest in our business was nice because they understood our requirements and provided extra helpful information. Additionally, the interviewed people gave positive feedback and said they enjoyed working with their team because they were friendly throughout the process. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they were communicative throughout the process and were on the ball with everything they did.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a plan in place and establish your goals for the project upfront. We followed that, and they were able to see the picture of what we wanted our videos to look like, and they helped determine the feel of it.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

Our client asked us to develop video content that spoke to three specific audience segments. We took that brief, and Signature helped us determine the best approach to make the video resonate with the target audience within the client’s budget. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, we held a briefing session where we provided the project brief along with additional information. We told them the sources we had and the things they should stay away from in terms of the client’s requirements, guiding the project’s direction. Signature then came back with three concepts. Our teams discussed each concept, and they provided each concept with a storyline and visual references. They also showed us video content that they had taken inspiration from to come up with the concepts. 

From there, we had meetings with their resources to refine the pitch to the client. We then settled on the concept with a docu-series style. Our team decided that this style would give us the content we needed while being budget-friendly. This concept also didn’t require us to fly to a different location; we could finish it locally, which helped us stay within our budget. After the client approved a concept, our team and  Signature went to work. They developed a path of milestones that we needed to achieve. We made sure that there was enough time between deliverables and that all critical things were attended to by our teams.

Once that was done, we focused on casting. For the sake of time, Signature worked with a casting agent and crafted personas for the subjects we were going to feature. Afterward, they made a casting call and brought in talent for each subject. The casting was done through Zoom, and each round was recorded on video so that I could pick through them quickly. Then, we shortlisted a couple of people per video and conducted an in-depth interview with them. That way, we could get to the heart of how comfortable they would be while speaking about our product and technology. 

After that, we collected our shortlists per video and provided a rationale for our recommendation. We had a first and second choice for each video, and each of the final Zoom interviews was sent to the client, who made the final choice. During the production process, Signature provided all the equipment we needed to achieve the aesthetic that we agreed to use. 

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with their director and the producer, who were my key contacts. I was also on-site for each shoot, so I also worked with seven more people, including the director of photography, their assistant,  sound engineer, and other people responsible for the key shots of the video. 

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

I found them via a mutual contact, and then I worked on another project with them several years ago. During that project, I had a great experience and felt that they were always going to rise to any challenge. As the years went by, they’d grown and expanded the level of work they did, so I decided to make them our go-to video production company. 

How much have you invested with them?

For this project, our initial budget was $100,000 CAD (approximately $78,000 USD). As we started to get into it, the client wanted to add more things to it, so we ended up with a budget of $150,000 (approximately $116,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

I first worked with them in March 2016, and this project was finished in October 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We only recently wrapped up the project and published the content on YouTube, so we haven’t had any solid quantitative metrics yet. As general feedback, everything was awesome. Our client and everyone else was happy with Signature’s work.

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Signature was great. I was a tough project manager and demanded a lot, so I was truly impressed when I knew they were as invested as I was in the project. They cared — that was truly important for me. Even when we had hiccups, they were there for me to figure things out. If the client had a crazy last-minute ask, they were always willing to find a solution. They never said no to anything. 

We typically communicated through Zoom, and then we used Google Documents and Spreadsheets to track our progress. We had lots of shared documents between us. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The Signature team was dedicated to the project, and that was crucial for us. On top of that, they were talented and came up with interesting concepts that resonated well with our target market. 

The team was also highly dependable, and that made my life easier and gave me confidence in the project. If I faced challenges, they’d support me and try to solve them. As a plus, they always smiled so working with them was always a pleasant experience. I couldn’t say the same for other teams. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We could have determined the final deliverables more clearly. They could also have determined tiny details such as what software to use and how we could deliver files. These things ended up being tiny roadblocks toward the end as they came up. For context, our client had a tight cybersecurity system, so they were only allowed to use certain software.  

On the other hand, these issues were quite minor, and I also take responsibility for them. On top of that, the client had some needs that weren’t in the scope of work, and neither of our teams flagged those. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Trust Signature. They know what they’re doing, and you’re going to get an excellent product.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the customer marketing manager for Contentful. Contentful is the API-first content management platform to create, manage and publish content on any digital channel.

For what projects/services did your company hire Signature Video Group, and what were your goals?

We hired Signature Video to produce 3 videos for us. 2 fireside chats and a keynote talk for our annual Customer conference. We needed these to be highly polished and done with a quick turnaround time.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

My team found this vendor via google and given their location in Toronto, price and quality it was a no brainer for us to select them as a vendor.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

We started off with a kickoff call to explain the goals and needs of our video. We introduced them to the location manager and they went ahead and made sure that the space was going to work. We also had specific requirements to use an LED screen which they were also able to secure for us. As I was in San Francisco they were very communicative with me about what was needed.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with Chris and Rachel directly. Both were very responsive and timely given our quick turnaround needs and specific requirements. We only had 1 day to film all 3 and a few days for the editing. They sent the videos as soon as they were done and incorporated 2 iterations of feedback quickly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The videos looked very polished and were well received by the audience.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We mostly spoke over email and occasional calls but they were always available to speak as needed. They were also quickly able to adapt to last minute changes in speakers, etc. Communication was always timely.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The attention to detail, professionalism, and fun. They're the kind group to work with thanks to their ability to execute.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

no I really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend others to work with SVG as well.

I'm the head of marketing for a luxury real estate franchise. We have our global headquarters in Germany, but in the Americas, we oversee all operations in Canada, the US, Caribbean, and Mexico.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

We were looking to tell the story of our brand and to capture the lifestyle and properties that are associated with it. We also wanted to articulate what we believe luxury is in today's day and age. Our company decided that there was no better way to do this than through video, so we hired Signature Video Group (SVG).

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our company believes that luxury is about special, personal moments and that one will often find those moments when purchasing a new home. We wanted to bring that idea to life through a series of five videos, which SVG is helping us do. 

Prior to the shoot, the team helped us select the talent and showed us the different scenes that we would capture. They’ve outsourced a photographer who could work with them during each shoot to take high-resolution videos and photos that could be used in the video. SVG will also take care of the editing and postproduction.

Because of the timing, we’ve actually had to shoot our last video first. The following video has been filmed while working around COVID-19 restrictions. We need to do everything remotely so SVG has digitally accommodated us to allow us tag along on the filming without actually being on the site. We’ve shot two out of five videos thus far since some of the others require us to shoot on a certain season. 

In the meantime, we’ve brought them in again to do production for our first digital event.

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

We found SVG On a website that ranks production companies. Through that platform, we were able to refine Our search based on who could work within our budget and who had real estate experience. 

We went through an RFP process with them and a couple of different vendors and partners. There were 10 of them in total, and SVG ended up being in the final three to actually do a presentation for us. That’s when Chris and his team at SCV blew us away. They really sold us on their propositions for how to convey our message through different scenes and vignettes. They put a lot of thought and research into the pre-work phase, which is why it was the right decision to go with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We've invested around $200,000–$250,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership began in the fall of 2020 and the partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve not publicly launched the video yet because we haven't gotten to shooting the rest of the series. We’re looking to have a soft launch In the next few weeks and by the first week of August, we hope to be able to release these assets to our network of real estate professionals. 

However, upon seeing the first output, we were all stunned. Even our global headquarters liked it so much that they’ve begun to use it in their global marketing efforts, which puts us in the lead in this campaign. 

This entire project has turned into something larger because we've gotten so much amazing content from SVG. It has opened up a lot of opportunities for us to continue working with them in different capacities as well. 

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fantastic. So far, everything has been done so quickly. SVG has also been able to pick up on certain things or issues that we've overlooked. They've not disappointed at all and only continue to exceed our expectations. They’ve promised to deliver to a certain output, but they've over-delivered on that simply because they're passionate and enthusiastic. 

Chris has skin in the game and is behind the entire operation. I feel confident because we’re working with the founder of the company. There have also been instances where they were clearly excited by the work as we are. Once, during filming, they got carried away because they were able to secure a beautiful shot. 

Along with face-to-face meetings, we communicate through Zoom. We also use Google Sheets to keep track of the talent and sites that we select, which is pretty convenient because it allows us to update things quickly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We couldn't have asked for a better partner than Chris. We had to delay filming due to COVD-19 restrictions, but we were able to put in a lot of work despite it thanks to his creativity and flexibility. It’s evident that this is his true passion because of the imagery and details that he captures. 

In addition, we all genuinely like each other. We've established an amazing relationship with SVG even though it's only virtual. They’re truly a part of our team now.

Are there any areas they could improve?

A tiny hiccup we encountered was when we changed producers. The transition was great, but if pressed, I would say there could have been a little bit more fluidity. Other than that, though, I have no complaints. They're fantastic. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you want to surround yourself with people who are better than you at something that is not your immediate skillset, go with SVG. Listen, be open-minded, and challenge them when needed. Give them as much information about your brand as you can, because they're sure to meet your goals with passion. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

I’m the COO of an alternative asset management firm. Our company is focused on mid-size essential infrastructure businesses. What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

As we’re beginning to emerge from the pandemic, we were evaluating how we were connecting with our critical stakeholders. Based on this evaluation, we wanted to transition our thought leadership content to a video format to make it more impactful and effective.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve produced 21 videos that feature different aspects of our business such as our success, values, corporate philosophy, and purpose. We work with them to map out the strategy, scripting, and approach for each video. From there, they manage all the logistics of the production process, providing creative and strategic insight as needed. They’ve handled in-person filming sessions in our offices as well, contracting with partners of theirs in the US to mitigate pandemic-related travel issues.

We’ve worked directly with Chris (Founder & Creative Director) for each video. He manages a production team made up of photo and video experts.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t published the videos yet on our website, but their content was critical to the success of our most recent annual investor meeting. The high-quality deliverables they put together perfectly captured the story we wanted to tell through great visuals and high-impact, succinct messaging. Investor feedback was glowing.

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been terrific. Both Chris and I are extremely demanding in this regard. Their team is great with communication, organization, and planning. They’ve exceeded my expectations. We communicate via Zoom, email, and in-person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve worked with a lot of creative firms in my career, and none have displayed the strategic prowess that they do. I didn’t have to provide a lot of direction in this area. Rather, they worked to build a deep understanding of our business and overall goals for the project on their own.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. I’d highly recommend them to any organization.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Having a lot of planning discussions at the beginning worked really well for us. Trusting their expertise was helpful as well.

I’m the chief brand officer of Humanstate. We’re based in the UK, but we’re an international organization. Humanstate is our parent company, and we have two products, one of which is a rental payment platform. This is the product we engaged SVG for.

What challenge were you trying to address with Signature Video Group?

Our product is a B2B software service, and we need to get new leads and build brand awareness. We were looking for a video production company to help us with a few testimonial videos. Our objectives were to tell the rest of the market about what we do and what we’ve done so far.

What was the scope of their involvement?

After making initial contact and discussing budgets, the production was arranged. We spent a few sessions where SVG asked a bunch of questions about our audience and what we do as a company. This helped them formulate a proper brief. I flew to them and was present at the video shoots. We did three testimonials. They handled all of the filming, direction, and final editing. The deliverables were the three videos.

How did you come to work with Signature Video Group?

One of my junior designers did a bit of research for a video company in the Toronto, Canada area. We did a Google search and came upon SVG’s website. We reviewed a lot of companies and what stood out to me was their existing work and portfolio. Of course, the people themselves are important as well. They’re a great team full of good people.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested between $25,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in March 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We use the videos in almost all of our marketing and have tracked the number of views. The videos have been featured on our social campaigns. In terms of brand awareness, the deliverables have helped us get more clients.

How did Signature Video Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was gone well. I can’t fault them. We use video-sharing tools that allow me to see the videos and make comments on the timestamps. Our teams mainly communicate through email and Zoom. They follow up on everything and are very quick with turnaround time. From a communication and delivery point of view, there are no issues at all. We’re happy with what they’ve done.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of their work and responsiveness to our specific needs. SVG takes the time to understand our business and then creates something with the intention of driving more sales; which is the benchmark in the metrics I gave them. Their team has delivered on our ROI.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Contact them. They’ve proven themselves. The fact that we’ve been working with them for the last two and a half years speaks for itself. We haven’t needed to go to another video company and that is directly a testament to their work. I’d definitely recommend them. They do a wide variety of video production.
