The work with Midis included: 

1. Assessment of best possible solutions for connection of the app with the balance board (electronic components, Bluetooth connection devices) 
2. development of mobile app for Android devices 
3. development of the web page which supports the app with user data and exercises input

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The vendor team provided good solutions for our project and during the first half year, it was possible to identify the best electronic components and develop a balance board prototype as well as to develop a mobile app and web that supports the app. The vendor team during the working process shared their vision of how to gamify the product, and their experience in other projects in order to develop a good product.

The project management was great. During the initial project development phase, team meetings were five times per week, which allowed to discuss all necessary development steps and progress made. Communication was easy and for meetings we used Google Meet. Also, we used Whatsapp for quick questions and sharing ideas. As it was the first time for us in such project development we welcomed the ideas and suggestions of the vendor team for app development in order to ensure the best user experience.

We had direct access to the whole team, which made it easier to communicate our ideas.

• To take over and continue to develop for us a customized solution/platform for managing main areas linked to our goods to be sold ( various calculations, statistics, information)
• To develop a customized solution for hand-held terminals (used in our warehouse), including a built in API that connects the terminal with ERP system; solution allows to pick goods for customers, create internal transfers between central warehouse and our stores, as well as perform stock takes.
• To switch our CRM from an old API to new API ( included a help / 'audit' from Midis side in order to identify data needed for CRM and clearing out some old buggs)

Most of what was planned for the customized tool/system for managing goods to be sold/warehouse-related information, statistics, calculations, etc. has been developed and launched, and is actively used by our company. web app for the hand-held terminals is also up and running, and the warehouse can do its job with modern technology and tailor-made solution to their needs. CRM is no longer using/relying on the old API.

Midis keeps a sharp eye on their projects; any changes in their team/resources/planning were communicated promptly and professionally. They're open and efficient, and they deliver the best possible results.

Global platform development based on the previously developed platform offers the users the possibility to perform their self-assessment against specific criteria and then to download different kinds of own reports, comparisons, and good practice reports. The platform is internationally available and in different languages. The main division: 

• Environment for the general users - individuals and organizations 
• Admin environment The main functionality for the general users' environment: 
  • Registration 
  • Home page 
• Self-assessment page (with defined questions, assessment scales, and the possibility to add comments) - results of the self-assessment are anonymously stored in the database 
• Reports page - own reports, comparison reports (by filtering anonymous data from other users), and good practice reports (by filtering entered anonymous good practices by other users) 
• Main functionality for the admin environment 
  • Set up a new self-assessment for users in different languages 
  • Statistics about the users

Working platform with all the features specified previously as the key deliverables.

We were working in sprints. Regular virtual meetings where they were always on time and we could rely on it. Some small communication also in emails. Agile approach. They responded fast and positively, always listening to our needs and searching for the appropriate solution. 

There were small delays, which is understandable, but it was a rare occasion. Usually, the job was done on time. The only suggestion for improvement from our side would be to spend more time in the beginning together to explain our holistic vision. As this was done just partly sometimes it brought some complications.

Great team, perfect communication, fast reaction, and honesty.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SIA Midis RSEZ could have done differently?

As mentioned previously, the suggestion for improvement from our side would be to spend more time in the beginning together to explain our holistic vision. We all were in a hurry and as this was done just partly sometimes it brought some complications. We prepared the holistic document, but as we didn't spend time together to discuss it fully, the process was not as effective as it could be. 

Another suggestion could be concerning the designer - it would have been beneficial if we got at the beginning of the process the design offered in more options and colors we can choose from and as well if we received the design template/s to our email not only presented during the virtual meeting. But those are things that can be easily changed and as written previously, generally the cooperation was great and we are happy about it and definitely would like to cooperate in future again!

They designed and developed a Drupal-based website with digital tools. At first, they gave us workflows and design mock-ups to approve before starting production. The work was completed within the time specified in the contract. During the project, we were able to test the result several times and give feedback to the developers.

Currently, the tests are already being used by our clients. About 1,000 interested people have already completed the tests on the website. This solution helps career counselors more accurately determine the suitability of clients for training.
