What Suprised me most was how fast things  moved. Within maybe 2 weeks we started noticing our products actually showing up in those AI answers. At first I though it was a fluke, but then it kept happening across more searches which was kind of crazy to see.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They showed us some internal tracking around AI visibility and it went from basically zero to somewhere around the 20 percent range across a chunk of our main keywords in the first month. I dont know exactly how they calculate that, but the traffic backed it up pretty clearly.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We saw about a 30 percent lift in organic traffic pretty quickly, and a lot of that felt like it was coming from longer searches and AI driven stuff. The bigger thing though was conversions. That traffic was way more qualified then what we were getting before. Revenue ended up up a bit over 20 percent in that first stretch which honestly we werent expecting that fast.

Overall, the experience was very positive, but one area for improvement could be providing more transparency around how AI visibility metrics are calculated. While the results were clearly reflected in traffic and revenue, having a clearer breakdown of the reporting methodology would make it easier to fully understand and communicate performance internally.

We partnered with Shift8 Web to redesign and redevelop our website, with a focus on scalability, performance, and improving our digital marketing capabilities across multiple locations.

They handled the full process including UX/UI design, custom WordPress development, and deployment. A key requirement was building a scalable structure that could support a growing number of locations while maintaining consistent branding and performance.

Shift8 implemented a flexible content architecture that allows us to manage location-specific pages, menus, and promotions efficiently. They also optimized the site for SEO best practices, including improved site structure, metadata handling, and internal linking to better support organic search visibility.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Post-launch, we saw measurable improvements in site performance and user engagement. Page load times decreased noticeably, and mobile usability improved across the board.

From an SEO perspective, we’ve seen better indexing of our location pages and stronger visibility for branded and location-based search queries. More users are landing directly on the correct location pages, which has improved overall user flow.

Engagement metrics have also improved, particularly on key pages like menus and location finders. These are critical conversion points for us, and the improvements have had a direct impact on how customers interact with the brand online.

Internally, the new CMS setup has made a big difference. Our marketing team can now manage updates, promotions, and new location launches without relying on developers, which has significantly improved our speed to market.
