To market my book so that I could increase my sales.

Through word of mouth I had heard of how exceptionally well they treat their clients, and also that they had worked with other self-published authors like me.

They helped me to leverage social media to market my book by helping me to create posts that engaged my target audience and brought traffic to my book site. They also helped me with running ads through different social media platforms.

While I worked closely with one of the principles of the company (who is great!), the entire team collaborates and works together to give exceptional client service.

Sales! My sales were sluggish at best, and as soon as I put Set Fire Creative to work, my sales increased at a high level!

They provide exceptional client service. I know that I am not a large client for them, but they treat me like I am a top client, and make me feel like I am important to them.

I’m the west coast regional manager of 18|8 Fine Men's Salon. It’s a hair salon geared specifically toward men. I oversee the West Coast and operations for about 50 franchisees and help them get their small businesses on track to grow.

Working with franchisees, they all have different backgrounds with different focuses. Even though they might be passionate about something specific, there are a lot of different parts to consider when running a business. For my franchisees that weren’t as strong in their marketing areas, I wanted to pair them Set Fire Creative to improve their social media presence.

Set Fire Creative manages social media accounts and handles all the posting across platforms. Franchisees also have the option to do paid advertising through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google My Business, and other platforms.

I found them through general networking and saw their presence on Twitter. I was looking for a solution and having a network of knowing people that work from the company led me to use them.

We started working together in January 2019 and our engagement is ongoing. We still refer them to all of our franchisees, some use them and some don’t.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

For one of my franchisees, his network through social media platforms increased substantially. He earns new clients coming in through social media and recurring clients continue to grow, too. 

How did Set Fire Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fantastic at communicating. For any correspondence I was cc’d on, it was never Set Fire Creative delaying responses and that’s because they’re really on top of everything. They meet deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their commitment shows that they’re a company that really cares about their clients and their work. We really admire that. They bring high levels of creativity to all of their projects and it blows us away. They’re a growing business, so the way their business model works with ours is pretty seamless. We really enjoy our time working with them.

Off the top of my head, no. All of the feedback has been positive, thus far.

Just be clear about what you’re looking for. They will make sure to help you in any kind of way. Make sure you have supplies, pictures, and ideas as a foundation for what you want your social media to look like so they can work with that.

A more than 75% increase in pre-event ticket sales and a significant increase in total ticket sales.

We Hired Set Fire Creative to help with our marketing efforts. They have taken on our Search Engine Optimization and Google Ads.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met with them several times and they were very knowledgeable and confidant in their industry. They showed us examples of businesses that had success with their services in the past which really built trust.

We started with a kick off call, they explained their process to us and assigned us an account manager who would be our main point of contact and lead their team in our SEO and ads. They then did a deep dive into our website, which they called an audit, and gave us a ton of feedback to optimize our site and to rank higher on search engines. After that they did keyword research for us and helped us target the keywords we should go after ranking on Google.

We had one account manager. They oversaw a team of several fulfillment members who did the work on our site and ads.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It is still early on but our we better understand how Google will rank us based on the content of our site. Our site has been optimized now to show higher on the search engines. We are ranking higher for several keywords we are going after. Ads are in the early stages but we are seeing evidence they will work.

They have excellent communication. We have a dedicated team member that we can contact anytime to answer our questions or give us updates. They also send us weekly updates as well as a deeper monthly report.

The team members at Set Fire Creative were very personable and down-to-earth. They come highly recommended by multiple businesses and other marketing firms.

Last year, with the previous agency, we were operating at a 1:.83 ROAS. Currently, we're running a 1:7.

I loved all professional they were, yet extremely easy to work with. I've established a great rapport with the team there. There is no reason for me to leave. Love the people and love the results.
