The entire Servalit team was amazing and on top of everything. They fixed problems before they existed. They communicated regularly and efficiently. They gave me creative control and freedom of the app's progress. They gave suggestions on how to resolve problems and implemented additional strategies to get us across the finish line efficiently.

Servalit impressed me with their sheer prowess and command of their abilities and deliverables. They kept their promises, and they gave me correct and reliable information. I didn't experience this with the last company I was with, which made me skeptical that another company could deliver. I honestly expected so much less than what they provided. I feel so lucky to have found them and have them help me. I wouldn't recommend any other company at this point.

No areas for improvement. Servalit is literally awesome! They have the "secret sauce" that every other company wishes they had.

The team was able to create a web application, which renders custom CMS-based content with an editor-friendly experience, and set up a seamless editor-to-user data delivery system that made it easy for the customer to manage and update the site. Their expertise in both backend and frontend development was evident in the quality of the final product.

Our company had a blind spot when it came to quoting spot/transactional freight - both from a data capture and a decision support perspective. We created our quoting system to resolve these gaps by logging, capturing context and decision support, and allowing quick responses to requests for quotes.

Our system also allows for direct integration with external shipper systems for automated responses to requests for quotes.

We had done business with another company in Serbia that recommended Servalit to us; we vetted them along with other US and near-shore companies and ultimately selected Servalit based on competence and price.

They set up a web application for us from scratch and we have biweekly calls where we discuss the work being done and work coming up. We also use their proprietary ticketing system to manage the backlog and prioritize work, along with daily conversations in Slack.

Their COO is our main point of contact, we work with a team of three engineers and one QA individual on their side.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our previous blind spots have been resolved and we are quoting more freight more accurately and also capturing many opportunities for future data analysis even if we are not actively quoting it.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between teams is very effective. We have biweekly calls where we discuss the work being done and work coming up. we also use their proprietary ticketing system to manage the backlog and prioritize work. We also communicate on a daily basis in Slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have handled all technical aspects of this system, and working with them has been a breeze. They have a high level of technical aptitude from design to build phases and were able to quickly understand an industry and our needs that they had no previous experience with.

I have no complaints about our working relationship.

I am the Co-Founder of Amplifi, a start up business that utilises Machine Learning to make complex information such as terms and conditions and regulatory updates easier to understand and engage with, based on the profile of a user.

As two non-technical founders, we needed to look eternally for development support to help us bring our vision to life. Initially we hired Servalit to manage all aspects of technical development of our MVP, the work is now ongoing as we continue to develop future iterations of our product.

We were introduced to Servalit via a recommendation from one of our key advisors who had worked with them previously. Having had calls with several agencies about the project, we appointed Servalit as they had an immediate understanding of our vision and the product we were trying to build and offered a fair and competitive price for the work.

Following the initial kick off meeting Servalit split the project into development sprints, based on the wireframes that we had provided. The development covered everything from system architecture to front end UI development. Technologies used were Azure, .NET, MSSQL and ReactJS. Key deliverables outlined below.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are still working towards product launch, but the team at Servalit have delivered over and above everything that was agreed at the start of the project. We are incredibly happy with what they have delivered so far. All stages of work have been completed on time and on budget. Even although they are an external agency, we feel as if they have become an extended part of our team.

Project timelines and deliverables are agreed with the team before each development cycle and is managed within Azure Devops. During sprints we will have weekly calls with the wider team to update on progress and address any other questions if required. We use Slack for the day-to-day communications as and when required. If anything does crop up that requires a call out with our usual schedule, Servalit have always been responsive and available to contact.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Being non technical founders we often require insight and advice about other technical aspects relating to the platform which fell out with the agreed project scope, the team are willing to assist us with this when required.

Not that I can think of.

This is very important project to Adacta Fintech business, since it is first major project for big Generali group. IN the same time it is first full, end to end, implementation of our new AdInsure 3.0 platform who will be game changer on the market.

Servalite guys are part of the Adacta team and managed by Adacta PM.

I was looking to design a greenfield app for iOS and Android.

ServalIT provided mobile UI/UX design and software development. I worked with their design firm to make wireframes. The ServalIT development team took those designs and built on them. They used React in the frontend and Azure and .NET for the backend.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I am happy with the quality of the work. I haven’t done many in-depth reviews of their code yet, but the app has good functionality.

How did ServalIT perform from a project management standpoint?

I have no fault with them from a project management perspective. We have solid communication with the development team. They’re easily reachable via Slack or phone call. They built their own tool for agile scrum management, which is useful. During heavy development, we hold daily status calls with their scrum master. The main point of contact is the project manager.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am impressed by how flexible and open they are.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could hold me to my deadlines a bit more. For example, if they’re waiting on me to provide them with something, it’d be better if they pushed me for it, but otherwise, there are no negatives with the work provided.
