I’m the product manager of Dulles Glass, a custom-cut glass, mirror, and shower door manufacturer and retailer. We offer extensive online customization and specialized tools for professionals across the US.

What challenge were you trying to address with SEOParity?

We needed help with our e-commerce platform development, which required a highly specialized team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SEOParity led the full migration from our legacy platform to Next.js and Strapi CMS. The team built the entire CMS architecture from scratch, including content types, dynamic page components, reusable blocks, and role-based access for our marketing team. They migrated all our content, product pages, blog posts, landing pages, and media assets using custom database scripts to ensure nothing was lost in the process.After the migration, SEOParity stayed on as our core developer for close to two years, handling daily releases, new feature builds, performance work, SEO monitoring through Google Search Console and Ahrefs, and working directly alongside our marketing and software teams.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our platform was running on a legacy system that was slowing us down on every front. Site speed was poor, our marketing team had no autonomy over content, and our development workflow was too rigid for the pace we needed. We wanted to move to a modern stack, but our biggest concern was protecting our SEO rankings and organic traffic during the transition.In the beginning, we had a few months of decline, but we slowly regained our footing. The main reason was that our page authority was hurting because we moved our website from one domain to another. It took us about 2–3 months to recover our organic traffic and rankings.Our website has an interface with a backend application written in Haskell. The issue we were facing with our legacy system was that it was written on the .NET framework and was slow. We wanted to show geometric and custom design items that were drawn by our online users and be able to price them directly on the site. This required many callbacks to the backend, and the old system was a bottleneck.SEOParity moved us to React/Next.js, which made this possible for us. This allowed us to serve our customers with our custom products, such as custom cut mirrors, tabletops, and glass shower doors. We’re still working to improve our site; our main issues are UI design.

How did SEOParity perform from a project management standpoint?

We had weekly meetings to go over the progress, which we measured using Trello and our daily communication via Slack. I also had daily stand-ups to ensure we met our deadlines. Of course, there were always cases when we had roadblocks, but we were able to resolve those with Borhen (CEO & Founder) and our team. He was very effective and stayed on task until we had resolutions.For example, we had issues with hackers who tried to attack our site. At that time, the entire team and Borhen worked very hard to ensure our site was up and running.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Borhen was reliable, easy to communicate with, and consistently delivered on time. He didn’t show up occasionally like a typical contractor; he worked with us daily. Whenever something came up, especially during the migration phase or around releases, he was quick to jump on it and sort it out.The combination of technical skills and SEO awareness is not something you find often. Most developers build things without thinking about the search impact at all. Borhen proactively watched our rankings, caught issues before they became real problems, and suggested improvements we hadn’t thought of. He felt more like part of our internal team than someone we hired externally.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Pages load fast on mobile, UX stays smooth across languages, and the team can publish/update content in Strapi without support. Clean SEO basics in place (metadata, indexing, structured content), and a stable launch with no critical issues.
