Are there any areas for improvement or something Semibold could have done differently?

The only thing I would want to work on with the team is making more out of our weekly calls, sometimes I have no idea who will be on, if just the PM or the designers or no designers. It would be nice if all the designers working on projects as well as leads would join this call, as we only have this one opportunity to raise any concerns and go over something with more detail. This is also a great chance for the designers to raise any questions to our creative lead, Jonathan.

We also engaged them for brand strategy, but they lacked English copywriters. Adding content strategists for the North American market to their team would be beneficial.

We designed our new web in Figma and then because of lack of internal capacity we were looking for a partner who would help us to deliver a Webflow dev. From Figma to Webflow. It included several pages and micro-animations which Semibold team designed very thoughtfully and nice. Scope of work included also help with switching from an old web to a new web. Semibold's team keep an eye of all aspects and helps us with smooth transition and launch.

I hired them to create and develop a new corporate identity and web design.

Can you describe the scope of work Semibold handled for your data transformation project at MBI?

Semibold handled the full brand and digital redesign for MBI, covering everything from foundational identity through to production-ready web design. On the brand side, the scope included developing a contemporary corporate identity from scratch: visual language, color system, typography, and core brand touchpoints - alongside a complete set of graphic assets: social media templates, a presentation template, and supporting collateral elements. The work also included detailed mock-ups to validate the direction before any digital implementation began.The second phase translated the developed CI directly into a new website design, built to a modern standard with the visual system fully integrated. This wasn’t a loose interpretation of the brand, it was a deliberate mirroring of the identity into the digital environment, ensuring consistency across every layer of the product. The result was a cesive, end-to-end brand and web design system, delivered by a single agency with ownership across both disciplines.Semibold designed the complex web structure, including the homepage, all interactive features, career page, resources page, reference page, and contact page.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The primary deliverable was a complete, production-ready brand and web design system, so success was measured by the completeness and quality of the output rather than downstream metrics at this stage. Semibold delivered every agreed component on scope: the full CI, all graphic templates, and a web design that certainly reflected the new identity. Each phase went through an internal review with our leadership team, and all deliverables were signed off without requiring fundamental rework. The benchmark we cared about most in a brand project was whether the output held up across contexts, and the system Semibold delivered did exactly that. Our feedback was consistently positive.We noticed improvements in internal and external feedback fairly quickly. Internally, the team responded well to having a certain visual system they could use. The templates and brand assets removed a lot of the friction that comes with ad hoc design decisions, and people stopped reinventing the wheel on every deck. That kind of quiet adoption was usually a good sign.Externally, the feedback we heard most consistently was around credibility.

What challenge were you trying to address with Semibold?

We needed to build a world-class website with a great UX, UI, IA, and CTA. The goal was to guide the design for ease, effectiveness, and user satisfaction. Additionally, we wanted to manage the site simply from the backend.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We submitted a very detailed brief, and Semibold understood it intuitively. They came back with great questions and suggestions, so we felt comfortable that they understood our requirements and could work with us. 
We’re not an easy client to work with since we have a diffuse management structure, so decision-making and feedback can be suboptimal.Semibold has designed and developed our website from scratch. They’ve also integrated it with HubSpot and social media, designed templates and contact forms, and provided continual development and updates. The team has also worked on improving the site’s performance and analytics.

We’ve seen a massive improvement in our website’s performance. Our ranking has moved from invisible to the front page of search engines, and our inquiries have increased from zero to 2–3 per month (excluding spam). We’ve tracked these improvements through Google Analytics and HubSpot.

Semibold’s project management has been excellent. The delays in the initial delivery have been attributable to us. The ongoing management is timely and usually faster than expected. We’ve communicated through virtual meetings.
