I am the CEO of AG Beauty LLC.

What challenge were you trying to address with SellerAct?

We were looking for help with marketing and advertising.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SellerAct set up our e-commerce operation, which includes electronic shops on Shopify platforms and Amazon. They handle our sales and marketing efforts, including social media, Google, and email marketing campaigns. Additionally, the team is responsible for our SEO and PPC efforts.

What is the team composition?

My main point of contact is the owner. Sometimes, I will work with a copywriter or graphic designer from SellerAct, but I typically interface with the owner directly.

How did you come to work with SellerAct?

SellerAct reached out to me five years ago. I used to only do wholesale, but they reached out about helping me move into the retail space.

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested around $100,000–$150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement began in April 2015.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m very happy with their services. They make up the entirety of our online sales and marketing efforts, which we didn’t have before them. 

How did SellerAct perform from a project management standpoint?

SellerAct consistently meets deadlines. Our teams communicate via emails and during meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SellerAct is responsive and dynamic. Even when we make changes, they know how to do things correctly for our business needs. They have a high level of customer service and communication.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m very happy.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open-minded and patient, because it takes time to get results. They have a lot of experience in online marketing.

I am the CEO of a brick and mortar and e-commerce store selling organic mattresses and accessories.

What challenge were you trying to address with SellerAct?

We were trying to come up with a strategy to convert leads coming into the website that we weren’t capturing before.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us to build out different lead generation tools, make changes to the website to help encourage more conversions, and utilize analytical data to gain insights on better capturing emails and other forms of customer interactions.

What was the team composition?

There were 3–5 people working on our project that I was aware of. My direct communication all goes through Ronen (Founder).

How did you come to work with SellerAct?

I found their company on LinkedIn and could tell from the beginning that they were trustworthy and really knew their stuff. The expectations he set out were also much more reasonable than what I was being pitched by other companies, so I decided to move forward with them.

How much have you invested with them?

 The total cost of the project has been around $20,000 so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in August 2019 and are continuing to do so.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They were able to help us meet all of our goals when it came to increasing traffic and lead generation, which we were really pleased with. The phone started ringing way more often pretty early on, and we were getting an increase in quality leads as well so we knew they were doing good work.

How did SellerAct perform from a project management standpoint?

What I’ve learned from being in this industry is that deadlines are always missed, but what matters is how the company handles that. Even though we were a few days over our planned completion date, their team was in constant communication with us about what they were doing, why it was taking longer than we thought, and when they would be finished instead. Because of their proactive communication, we didn’t run into any problems.

They were always available when I needed them. Rather than rely primarily on long email chains to keep track of everything, we would have phone conversations when it came to strategy so that we could figure out what the best plan would be at each stage of the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Being able to trust them is a really big deal for this industry. A lot of companies will take on all kinds of different projects even if they’re not well versed in the intricacies of each facet of the development and marketing needed.

With SellerAct, they will always let me know if something I ask from them isn’t totally within their wheelhouse and either offer to get the information for me or point me towards someone who can.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would ideally like to develop more of a personal relationship with the individuals in their company rather than just communicating with Ronen, but that’s more of a personal preference than anything they need to be doing differently.
