Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We were using the Drupal platform, which was alright, but a bit more complex than we would have wanted. Searchbloom brought up the idea of using Magento, which is a bit more user-friendly. We needed a responsive, modern, and easy to use page, and Searchbloom delivered that. They will continue to perform A/B testing and optimize the website.

Our site has been live for barely a month, so it's too early to measure its impact.

How did Searchbloom perform from a project management standpoint?

This was the biggest Magento project that Searchbloom had undertaken at that time and required many customizations in order to fit our needs. We have an in-house inventory management program which needed to be merged with the main site. Searchbloom handled it well, and I'd recommend them.

I was very impressed with Searchbloom's Chief Executive Officer. He was quick to answer questions within a chaotic web launch period. Everyone on our team had their own opinion, and we relied on Searchbloom to take our input and divide it within the team. They did a good job of managing that. Searchbloom's team was also very willing to meet us face-to-face whenever we wanted.

Searchbloom might have underestimated the size and complexity that this would bring. Their time estimates were off, but that was to be expected.

It only took a couple of months to make, but it is a full-blown Magento website. Now that it has been up-and-going, Searchbloom has worked on our nationwide rankings, and even setup a way for people to subscribe to our newsletter.

Our product contains nicotine, so we can only work on organic marketing. Searchbloom educated us in terms of ad-word policies and Facebook marketing. We're able to focus in the right areas, and have come close to the first page for words like "vape juice", even though it's only been a month.

Our work has been very successful. Searchbloom launched a website quickly. I log into my SEO rank tracker weekly and have seen stats go up every time by large jumps. We're very thrilled with Searchbloom.

We have gone from being a B2B company with no customer website to having a visited page. Our first sales came 2 weeks ago, and they keep trickling through. There's nothing huge yet, but SEO takes time. We won't need much more time in order to get to the first page of results and attract more customers.

Organic search marketing is like anything else: if a campaign has a budget of $30,000 over six months, it will bring a return at the end of the period. It takes time, but it's worth the wait. If successful, a site will rank highly for years, unless competition comes up. In that case, Searchbloom has strategies to boost the work even higher.

BodyGuardz is a BGZ Brands company founded in 2002 in Draper, Utah. What began as a small line of screen protectors for a limited number of devices, grew into a solid organization that provides millions of products to mobile device users throughout the world. BGZ Brands was placed on the Inc. 500 list as the 436th fastest-growing company in 2015.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

Cost-per-online acquisition was the primary issue and concern. BodyGuardz turned to Searchbloom for professional consulting services in an effort to understand sales attribution and funneling better. 

We wanted to improve our standing in Google and increase our root domain. We were only at a 20 domain authority at the time.

SOLUTION

Searchbloom implemented a full-service solution from PPC [pay-per-click] management to search engine optimization and consulting. 

During the process of optimization and analysis, Searchbloom found that our aggregate review schema was not working and that many of our title tags were either over optimized or under optimized. 

They were also able to discover some of our lowest performing PPC keywords in an effort to decrease our cost per acquisition further. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Searchbloom has had a major impact on our company. They started by dramatically bringing our CPAs down to all-time lows and continue to over deliver monthly. I couldn't recommend them high enough.

They also brought our domain authority up to a 50 from about 20, which is a huge jump. Searchbloom is great and always treats the customer right. They are always thinking of ways to make my life easier.
