We partnered with ScaleupAlly to help develop a Machine Learning system that analyzes U.S. Futures markets. Our main goal was to develop a system that could analyze financial securities, and predict future market trends.

How did you select ScaleupAlly and what were the deciding factors?

We found them through a referral, and considered them along with 15 other companies. This was a tough project.. we needed a group that was experienced and willing to work around the clock to complete it. Also- Good communication was necessary and everyone at ScaleupAlly continues to exceed our expectations.

They developed a Machine Learning algorithm that can analyze US Futures markets, and predict upcoming market trends. The goal was to create a system that will monitor stock charts using a popular charting application (Ninjatrader 8), Study current & past market conditions, and learn and adapt without following explicit instructions. Once the system has complied this data, it would predict upcoming market trends so that the user can trade contracts on various US Futures markets based on the predictions displayed by the system.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The results are astonishing.. I can't speak highly enough of the quality of work that ScaleupAlly provided to our company. When we set out to create this system, our target accuracy was around 65%-75%. Over the last few months, are prediction accuracy has steadily been 80%-90%.

We've worked with many developers in the past, and ScaleupAlly is by far the most professional, and well-organized company we have ever worked with. Communication: Their communication is fantastic (Especially since we are in different time zones).. I have direct contact with the CEO's, and the developers working on my project. Never had any issues. TImeline: They always complete our projects on time. For every project, they lay out the scope in great detail, and they are always willing to adapt to our schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Quality of work & attention to detail is definitely the most impressive aspect of this company. After completing our first project with Scaleup... we quickly realized that they are true professionals.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There is always room for improvement in a company.. but I don't have a negative thing to say about ScaleupAlly at this time. They are amazing at what they do.. And I couldn't be happier with the results.

Working with ScaleupAlley has completely restored my faith in the freelance market. Once the app goes to market, I’m sure it’ll take off.

They’re very hands-on, and give me their feedback right away. If anything, I’ve been slowing them down.

Their professionalism really stands out. It feels like they’re in my head, sometimes. I’ve been misled and misunderstood by freelancers in the past, but there’s none of that with ScaleupAlly.

No, I’ve never had a moment of doubt with them. There’s nothing I can fault them on.

My advice is to communicate. As long as you’re communicating your request to them, you can’t go wrong with them.

We needed to integrate Stripe to replace our old payment provider.

SOLUTION

Can you describe the scope of work ScaleupAlly handled for your rental marketplace project? Please include the main deliverables if you can.

ScaleupAlly handled our Stripe Connect migration for a Symfony/PHP rental marketplace. The team was responsible for platform setup (Express onboarding, KYC/KYB/UBO), PaymentIntents with 3DS and security deposits, commission/escrow and monthly payouts, insurance and manual charges, refunds (full/partial), key webhooks, and end-to-end testing/UAT. ScaleupAlly handled most of the initial Stripe Connect setup and API integration work. They created the first version of the backend integration in Symfony/PHP — including account onboarding, payment intent creation, and payout logic. They also configured the Stripe platform and Connect Express accounts, set up basic KYC onboarding, and implemented webhooks for payment and payout events.

What were the measurable outcomes from your project with ScaleupAlly that showed progress or success for your rental marketplace?

ScaleupAlly stood up our Stripe Connect platform, enabled Express onboarding, wired basic KYC, created the first working API flow (PaymentIntents, refunds, payouts), and deployed webhook endpoints that received test events. We validated end-to-end card payments in test mode, onboarded connected accounts via hosted links, and saw successful payment/payout/refund events in the Stripe dashboard. The delivery wasn’t production-ready without further rework, but it did establish a functional baseline.

Overall, they had good structure and communication, but their core skills/ownership on Stripe Connect and punctuality needed work. I would consider working with them again, provided we start with a stricter scope, explicit acceptance criteria, and a thorough testing plan.

ScaleupAlly was well-organized, with a real project manager, CTO oversight, and a developer assigned. Communication was clear and responsive throughout, and the pricing felt fair.

What did you find most impressive or unique about working with ScaleupAlly?

Nothing in particular.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Where they fell short was leadership and Stripe depth. I expected them to drive the solution and proactively propose best practices. Instead, I had to step in and re-implement several critical pieces (on_behalf_of/destination charges, proper 3DS/SCA handling, pre-authorization & capture flow, and transfer amount logic). We also lost files after a merge, which cost time.

The owner of the Stripe Connect account, by accessing our site, should also be able to see their 
dashboard, manage payments, and all the basic functionalities available on Stripe Connect. 
Furthermore, it must be able to manage its own profile, therefore password recovery, etc 
create a PERSONALIZED login page and not the standard WP one to make everything more 
professional and adapt the system colors to the colors of the TRIPAGO logo. 
I would also like each page to be able to be shared on FB, IG, WHATSAPP and TELEGRAM
