Our main need was to take over the maintenance and further development of our client’s online store on Magento 2. The previous agency had significantly exceeded both the budget and their technical capabilities, leaving us, in a sense, stranded. The cooperation simply wasn’t working. Satisfly approached the situation strategically. From the very beginning, they were clear about what competencies they had, where they could deliver “quick wins” (solutions already tested and proven), and which areas would require more custom work and could therefore pose a budget risk. Thanks to this, we’ve been able to focus together on the areas where they already have strong expertise – and there are quite a lot of them. We especially value the support from their Delivery Manager and CEO, Marek. Their knowledge is impressive, and they are always willing to share it. A good example: when we faced an unexpected cost increase in the Baselinker tool (used by our client), Marek immediately stepped in, activated his business network, and helped mediate between our client and Baselinker. That level of involvement was beyond what we expected. Another positive aspect is Marek’s educational videos and interviews on YouTube. As an agency working on behalf of our client, we find them really helpful because they show how Satisfly thinks about e-commerce and client service. In terms of operations, the organization of work is excellent. All tasks are clearly tracked in Jira, we have access to time logs in Tempo, and everything is managed transparently. On top of that, the overall atmosphere in the team is great – they simply give the impression of people you enjoy working with. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be deeper business understanding from the Project Manager assigned to our project. In some cases, we had to escalate matters to the Delivery Manager to get a more client-oriented response. That said, whenever a task turned out to be more difficult than expected, Satisfly sometimes took it on their own shoulders and didn’t invoice our client just to make sure the result was delivered. This happened only once out of dozens of tasks over almost two years, so I see it as a minor issue rather than a real problem. Overall, after almost two years of cooperation, we can confidently recommend Satisfly as a reliable, strategic, and highly engaged technology partner for Magento-based e-commerce projects.

Satisfly’s project management has been very well organized. All tasks are tracked transparently in Jira, with time logs available in Tempo, so we always know how our budget is being used.

They generally deliver items on time, and when something requires more discussion or runs into unexpected complexity, they communicate clearly instead of hiding the issue. We appreciate that level of honesty.

When urgent matters came up, their Delivery Manager and CEO personally got involved and responded quickly, which gave us confidence that we were in good hands. Day-to-day, the team is responsive, easy to reach, and willing to adjust priorities when our client’s business needed it.

Overall, their project management combines structure with flexibility – we always feel supported rather than left on our own.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out to us is that Satisfly doesn’t act like a typical development agency that just “ticks off tasks.” They think strategically, explain where they can deliver quick wins, and are honest about areas that might be more complex or risky for the budget.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Satisfly could have done differently?

Overall, our experience has been very positive. The only area we’d point out is that the Project Manager assigned to our account could have had a deeper understanding of our client’s business context. In a few cases, we had to escalate matters to the Delivery Manager to get a more client-oriented perspective.

That said, whenever something was more difficult than expected, Satisfly took responsibility and sometimes even absorbed the extra effort without billing us – which we really appreciate. Considering the scale of cooperation over almost two years, this was a very minor issue compared to the overall value they deliver.

The main aim of the project was to modernize the existing sales platform based on Magento and optimize it for mobile devices so that it could meet the requirements of the contemporary e-Commerce customer. The implementation of a new headless PWA-based store version was planned as the next step in the company's electronic sales development, immediately after the implementation of the Akeneo PIM.

It was a necessary condition to implement in such a way that it would preserve the order of the product catalog and not disrupt the platform's ongoing operation.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We started cooperation in May 2022 with Satisfly team taking over an existing store based on traditional monolithic Magento 2 and work related to the implementation of Akeneo PIM. In September, we started development of the new version of the Carpeto.pl store, which golive took place in December of the same year, only 3.5 months after the start of implementation work.

Satisfly built the Carpeto.pl store on a headless architecture, separating the frontend from the backend. Thanks to this approach, we simplified the change and scaling process of e-Commerce and allowed the creation of fronts tailored to individual devices, thereby increasing the comfort of using the store by customers.

The second goal of this project was to streamline the product information management process in Carpeto’s sales system by migrating from Pimcore, which did not meet our business requirements, to Akeneo PIM, which more closely met the our needs.

They've carried everything out according to plan. Communication did not fail, which had an impact on quick problem-solving (both smaller and bigger). The launch of the systems was preceded by solid testing, the migration process was properly supervised by the team.

The first goal of the project was to migrate the store to a newer version of Magento. Within the company, there were two separate stores, so the decision was made to integrate them on one platform, using the multistore function.The migration of the stores required a complete integration from scratch with the VENDO.ERP system for managing customers and products. The implementation was designed so that the Client practically does not need to access the Magento administrative panel – all data is in the ERP. 

Satisfly designed a logistics module based on a special algorithm that calculates shipping costs and classifies products by transportation form (pallets, cartons). The system also takes into account products that require special handling or separate transportation (e.g. glass elements). Interestingly, the module has no limitations on the number of calculations – it can calculate the cost even for thousands of products.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. Significant savings The logistics module brought Activeshop savings that translated into more favorable prices in the store. It’s also convenient for the end customer who always has a precisely defined form of transport and its cost. 
2. Zero technical debt The new version of e-Commerce is free of technical debt and smartly integrated with the ERP system, ensuring a long lifespan.
3. Expectations met The implemented platform meets all the needs of the specific target group, which are B2B customers. And at the same time, it provides them with a friendly shopping experience. 
4. Window to the world The multistore feature and support for multiple language versions open up paths for Activeshop’s international expansion.

The process of our cooperation with Satisfly has started with us filling a detailed brief and meeting with the project management team. That led to creating user stories and planning the next steps by Satisfly. After collecting the data we met for 2 days of workshops. Based on the information gathered during the whole process Satisfly delivered the report that included data and recommendations to implement in our online store, as well as business and technological guidelines for the new UX design of the website.

There were 4 people in Satisfly working on our project. Our main point of contact was a project manager. But there were also a back-end developer, a front-end developer, and a UX designer included in the process.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The result of our cooperation was a document with detailed project implementation guidelines and recommendations for using PWA, as well as a new design for our online store. It was clear that Satisfly did their best to deliver the complete report, having our business goals in mind.

The whole process was based on agile methodology. We had daily calls with Satisfly’s project manager and the rest of their team, so we were up to date with the current status of the analysis. The report was created gradually, so we didn’t have to wait till the end to see the results. It’s a big plus because we were sure that Satisfly’s team was working restlessly to deliver the best recommendations for our business

During the whole project, Satisfly was showing us their dedication and deep understanding of our business goals. All their team members knew our needs and could identify the business problems and propose solutions. It wasn’t just limited to the project manager, even developers were showing a full commitment to our business goals.

We didn’t really have any problems with our cooperation with Satisfly. There were some communication issues at the beginning, but we solved them pretty quickly as we work out an effective process of communication

I’m responsible for the e-Commerce branch in Briju, the brand owning one of the biggest Polish jewelry retail chains. As for today, Briju has 70 physical stores and an e-Commerce shop with a wide range of jewelry and watches.

The main challenge here was to develop a fast, reliable and modern online store in order to catch up with the ever-growing e-Commerce market. We knew it must be done as quickly as possible but with minimal interference to the everyday business operations.

We already knew that our go-to technology should be Magento PWA as its easy-scalable, mobile-friendly and future-proof. This requirement has shortened the list of potential software houses to choose from. After a couple of meetings we all agreed that we are on the same wavelength and we believe in similar work methods and practices.

We started with a kickoff meeting and onboarding process. From there we went through the business analysis process which was designed to gather project details necessary for further planning. We agreed on a quick MVP development in just two months from the start as it was crucial for us to have a working online store before the winter holiday season.

X-Coding management understood our business perspective and we highly appreciate their attitude towards our mutual endeavor. The MVP has gone live in summer 2021 and from this point we started further development of additional features such as the customer loyalty program, gift card payment option and more.

The webstore has been developed using Magento PWA technology and headless architecture which made it super fast and as mobile-friendly as possible. We want our brand to look fresh and attract the young digital-native generation of consumers. So far, we’ve managed to profoundly increase our conversion rate and achieve triple-digit year-over-year growth.

The project is being conducted in the agile methodology. Right from the start, we knew that X-Coding believes in really close cooperation between our teams as the only way to success. Our work is based on daily updates and well-planned biweekly sprints which guarantees transparency and clear communication.

We are impressed with their deep understanding of our business and commitment to our goals. It’s rare to find a vendor not focused on selling their services at any cost but on giving honest opinions and bringing real value.

Our work with X-Coding, as with any long-term cooperation, required some team-building efforts and merging of our mutual goals and priorities. Time pressure played a big part as well. During the starting stage of the project, there were some issues requiring a deeper analysis and correction, but all of them were nothing more than typical ‘teething problems’. ROOBEO requested specific modifications to improve the system with integrations and extensions that would empower the supply cloud to make a strong impact on our clients. The packages that have been developed for ROOBEO improved the work within the tool, expanded the administration panel and included a better product management.

There have been many goals within the ROOBEO project where X-Coding IT studio has supported us with. To pick the most challenging goal ROOBEO choice was to develop fucntonality that optimised the work with Akeneo. By applying default configurations for product categories, product families and attributes ROOBEO was able to work more efficiently in their daily business, the effect was seen in faster configurations and automations of the operations within the Akeneo platform.

We chose X-Coding IT Studio because ROOBEO was looking for a company that had the competence and experience with custom implementations for the Akeneo system. Having chosen an official partner for Akeneo, we knew that we made the correct decision in the development team. X-Coding IT Studio was able to support additional support with our other integration frameworks that were used to provision our product information like Magento 1 and Magento 2, therefore they were able to support us through many different levels of Ecommerce development.

X-Coding IT Studio has completed the project successfully and was able to help achieve the goals ROOBEO has set for itself. We have managed to develop the product, category and product family structure in Akeneo exactly as we needed with the help of X-Coding IT Studio.

Build in advance mapping features for categories allowed for a significant portion of the work on the Akeneo platform to be automated reducing the work for ROOBEO significantly. Additional support has been provided to enrich the admin panel with additional view, tabs, pages and inputs to efficiently enter data. The help of export, import and API integrations allowed for even more efficiency.

What was the team composition?

A dedicated project team has been assigned to ROOBEO that provided the necessary skill set to ensure a smooth delivery. X-Coding IT Studio has built a project team for us that consisted of three experienced developers who were suprived by a technological leader, a tester was responsible for the quality of the work. The team was led by an experienced project manager who has been the eyes and voice inside X-Coding Studio and the project team.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The relationship between X-Coding and ROOBEO has been fruitful, without them we would not have been able to develop and adapt our PIM tool to our needs. ROOBEO’s has put its trust in X-Coding with the Akeneo project, therefore ROOBEO was able to focus on the company’s growth.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

ROOBEO and X-Coding IT Studio used standard design tools to strengthen the everyday communications. A main driver in the communication was Slack which connected the teams from both companies together in an efficient way to share information.

A bi-weekley demo meeting was introduced which showed the progress that X-Coding has made on the project. During this demonstration X-Coding explained the implementation and mentioned any possible inaccuracies that have arrived. When necessary we were able to contact the project manager by phone if there were any questions, every time we’ve gotten a quick answer to the inquiry.

We didn’t feel that we were just a client to X-Coding IT Studio, they showed commitment and a professional approach towards the projects at ROOBEO. There weren’t any major problems at any of the stages during the development. Communication was quick and efficient. Their team approached the subject well and with great commitment. At each stage of the project, we were informed about the progress of the work.

We needed to create a new perception of our brand by improving the company’s visual identity through printed advertising materials.

What were your goals for this project?

We lacked visual marketing materials that emphasized the professionalism of our company. Since we’re engineers, creating marketing materials for us was challenging, so we delegated this task to a third party. We needed the materials to be completed in a short period of time while maintaining all the standards of “good taste.”

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new logo helped improve our company’s visual identification and made us look professional. Now, we make a better first impression during meetings in our headquarters and when we hand out our marketing materials.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our collaboration with X-Coding took place in a comfortable but professional atmosphere. They held many conceptual meetings and kept us informed of every decision.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I appreciated their enthusiasm for design and ability to approach each client as an individual business. Throughout the project, we were treated well and never doubted the team’s results. After the initial briefing, we already knew that X-Coding was invested in our project.
