The project was managed professionally with proper coordination and timely communication. All deliverables were completed within the committed schedule, and the team responded promptly and positively to our requirements, feedback, and project needs throughout the execution period.

Overall, the experience was very satisfactory. Minor improvements in periodic progress updates and sharing milestone schedules in advance could further enhance coordination and project tracking.

Safari being a niche product is very difficult to identify and reach out to potential customers. We needed a video which would generate curiosity about safari and also highlight the good things we offer in the safaris we conduct. The same was meant to be shown in various clubs and associations.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We spoke to our business friends who, though had products different from ours, had to make videos for various purposes. We then checked the net. Deciding factors were quality, customisation and cost.

We met them in their studio wherein we explained our product and they asked us difficult questions like ' why should people go with you ? How are you different from others ? Soon they shared a storyboard with us and after our approval produced a 3.5 mins video with us. They had astounding of stock pics of animals. We asked for a video meant for Instagram and WhatsApp which they shared soon.

We worked with their production team who would come back to us from time to time , as the project progressed, for our feedback. It was a team work

We have n associated with Santanu Productions (SP) number of years for their corporate films covering a range of subjects – the quintessential company film, project films, safety films, event-specific films and people films. A small company in terms of manpower, Santanu Productions distinguish themselves with their quick assimilation of briefs, and prompt & effective implementation right from story board to rushes to completed film.

But their USP lies also in their ability to translate simple ideas of the customer into effective story telling solutions in film. The success of this small production house is evident from its large active customer database (that includes many successful corporate houses in India, who have become its regular clientele, along side new customers), its references and commendable body of work. Santanu Productions owes its success to the vision, passion and technical & visualisation capabilities of its head Mr Santanu Bhattacharjee, who has several decades’ experience working with and for a wide range of leaders in various fields.

SP was responsible for end to end delivery of the films. Receiving and assimilating the brief, creation of a story board, usage of material provided, provision of graphics where needed from SP database/library, sourcing of royalty-free images and footage where needed, best onboarding of external resources based on budget, entire production including recording of voice overs, music integration, timeline creation until final rushes and completed film.

What was the team composition?

Santanu Productions operates with a key team of 2 or 3 fully-qualified and trained film editors. Mr Bhattacharjee receives the customer brief and translates this into a film concept. The team functions around his brief/instruction.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As many as 5 films were developed in the period under review - each with a duration of 3 to 6 minutes, based on our requirement. the films were delivered with SP's trademark attention to quality and content. The end result was more than satisfactory, and a couple of the films have been used. 2 of the films could not be used to the onset of the Covid-19 situation, but will be screened on revised event dates.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. SP is very agile and customer-focused. Electronic connectivity, quick assimilation of requirements, fast turnaround time of all stages of production, flexibility to allow studio on-line editing inputs, change request handling are watchwords for SP, and they live and deliver these to the full satisfaction of the customer. Mr Bhattacharjee's own background in music, stage filmography make him a leader in the field, and he identifies quickly with passionate and driven customers.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The attributes described above, and the cost aspect. They are reasonable and driven more by long term customer relationships than by project cost.

Are there any areas for improvement?

One area foreseen is an expansion of team strength to take into consideration higher workloads. However, even in peak workload situations SP has been accommodating to urgent requests.

We needed a visual & impactful introduction for our client's latest product launch. And Santanu delivered on every count. He was open to feedback. He offered multiple ideas in scripting. He has modern videoshooting equipment including drones to make the subject interesting. Most importantly, he was fine with adapting to our budgeting constraints.

I have known Santanu's work from the industry. Though he is not one to tom-tom his name in his works, like every serious producer, I seek him out for my projects.

the project involved video production on the most sensitive issue of the Ram Janmabhoomi in Bharat.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Nitin Sawant was the project consultant, Nitin Raikwar was the lyrics writer and I composed and did the vocals. The video was executed immaculately by Santanu Productions and was widely appreciated especially for its sensitive and creative handling of the subject.

The video was not only uploaded on the Parasuram Production page but was also shared by many other platforms contributing to an overall viewership of over a million.

The song was based on traditional lyrics with a very modern orchestration. This mandated a similar aesthetic in the visuals.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This company has a solution to everything, be it creative or technical. The cost of production and the value for money, is probably the best one can get in the industry.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For the quality and stature of their projects, I wish the company did better marketing of their profile. Then again, it feels wonderful to be amongst the exclusive artists working with them.
