We hired SAMBA to create 1-2 minute graphic informational videos for our real estate crowdfunding platform.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

SMABA was recommended to us by one of our sister companies, who had worked with them in the past.

For each video, we would first have a an initial call to explain the objective of the video (what we wanted to consumer to learn) and walk through what we were envisioning for each each frame (story board). Pablo, the General Manager, whom we worked with directly, very easily understood what we were looking for, as reflected in the first drafts that he delivered in a very timely manner. After going through several rounds of edits we have our final product in less than three weeks time.

Pablo, the General Manager, was our only direct contact. He is very passionate and easy to work with.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our videos are used in retargeting email marketing and social media posts. The email that includes one of the graphic informational videos, has the highest rate of conversion amongst the other 6 emails that are used to retarget sign-ups.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Pablo is very quick to respond to emails and communicate edits to his team. The flow of communication was very efficient.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Pablo is very personable and provides you with his Whatsapp, so you feel very well taken care of and can very easily communicate.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing we would change. We look forward to working with SAMBA agin when additional graphic videos are needed.

We hired SAMBA, to help us deliver a company wide message that included a compensation structure change.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Samba has helped us with prior videos. We selected them because their price is fair, they are quick, they help our vision come to life!

Once Samba receives your script they work with you on how to make the vision come to life. They give their suggestions and also send you edits and ask for your approval. They are so helpful when we need changes and always know what will look best.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

I worked with Pablo. He was great at giving me suggestions and bringing our vision to life. His team was extremely creative and were able to make the video amazing while also keeping our brand standards intact.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The outcome was very successful. The video displayed our new compensation structure and the WHY behind it. Our team really enjoyed it and it was a quick and informative way to relay a company wide message.

Their project management style was very fluid. We used zoom calls, whatsapp when needed, and constant email communication.

I am an owner and executive director of P.V. S.A Medias Mora, a textile company in Argentina. We manufacture multiple lines of women’s garments, sportswear, and children’s clothes.

What challenge were you trying to address with SAMBA. Taylors Of Innovation?

We had the same branding for 10–20 years, and we wanted to rebrand. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SAMBA has completed many projects for us, including a complete company rebrand. They guided us through the process and tore down our preconceptions for our brand to optimize our branding. To start, SAMBA completed several market studies and surveys to help us optimize the rebranding process. They designed new logos and branding pieces, including packaging, hang tags, and catalogs. The SAMBA team also put together our branding strategy and helped hire third-party suppliers to purchase packaging materials from. SAMBA also ensured our branding was consistent at each of our brick-and-mortar locations. 

As our company has evolved, our branding has remained consistent— our logo is the same, and all of our branding follows the strategy and guidelines that SAMBA set up for us. We also worked with them on an e-commerce strategy project, and they helped us set up a social media presence. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with Pablo (General Manager), and there was a team working in the background supporting him. 

How did you come to work with SAMBA. Taylors Of Innovation?

There aren’t many textile-specialty shops in Argentina, and we were looking for a company to help us with the theoretical branding framework that we could work within. We also wanted a company with B2C and B2B knowledge. We initially worked with a few other companies but didn’t feel that they were giving us a complete branding concept — they were just providing cookie-cutter branding. 

When we talked to Pablo, he walked us through his proposal. He suggested that we complete qualitative interviews with customers, which we thought was a good idea. We also knew SAMBA had experience in the retail and textile industries, which was helpful to us. We chose SAMBA over their competitors because of their portfolio, experience, and knowledge of third-party suppliers. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $50,000 with SAMBA on the rebranding project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We began our first rebranding project with SAMBA in March 2014, but we’ve done projects on and off with them since.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

While the work was more expansive than initially anticipated, the entire rebranding process was seamless. SAMBA was very thoughtful, and we were delighted with the work they’ve done for us. 

We’re still using the branding SAMBA put together for us — it has held true to our company as we’ve evolved over the years, which speaks to the thoughtful and insightful rebranding SAMBA completed. The new branding has been profitable for us and improved our exposure to our clients. We were so impressed with the rebranding that we continued working with SAMBA for almost a decade. 

How did SAMBA. Taylors Of Innovation perform from a project management standpoint?

SAMBA led the entire rebranding process; they were streamlined and ensured that the whole process was collaborative. SAMBA was very transparent and had excellent project management. We had multiple internal project leads, but SAMBA was able to coordinate us all and kept us on track to meet deadlines. 

They set firm deadlines and guidelines for us to follow to ensure each piece of the project was to our liking and delivered on time. They were also proactive about addressing delays on their end and helped us find third parties that could keep the project on track. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

SAMBA is not a typical cookie-cutter branding company — they have a 360 approach to branding. I liked how thoughtful they were about the branding process; most companies are focused on delivering quickly and forgo the quality of work. SAMBA helps clients understand their place in the market, their customers, and what they need to do to move forward successfully. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for SAMBA to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I’d advise customers to follow through on SAMBA’s entire process: listen to their feedback and give them a chance to help establish a brand. If customers let SAMBA lead the work, they’ll get the most out of the partnership.

We’ve received the final brand materials from SAMBA, and although we haven’t rolled them out yet, we’re very happy with the outcome. The deliverables reflect a deep understanding of our brand and provide a strong, cohesive identity to guide our next steps.

Their project management was excellent: they were highly responsive, flexible, and showed great willingness to adapt to our company’s timing. Communication was fast and effective throughout the process, and all deliverables were provided on time.
