So, our blog launched in 2018 and in 2022 we decided it was time to monetise the blog. The growth was very slow and we had issues with search engine optimisation. After trying different tools and in-house methods, we decided to hire an agency.

Our first consultation with Root and Rank was in December 2024. We shared our issues and concluded on 3 goals.

1. Improve SEO and get better ranking on SERP
2. Improve our revenue
3. Help us with a content strategy that works after the retainer is over.

Our consulting session led to the overhauling our current systems at the time. Their team got onboard and implemented new tools, made technical fixes while we got to working on the content. They gave us a 1-year content plan which we are still using till date. Our search engine results got over 500% increase and revenue became a monthly constant.

We also saw results in AI searches.

Later on, upon their technical review, we had to switch hosting providers mid-2025 before the retainer expired. This was done smoothly and swiftly, same as the domain migration. No downtime at all.

Organic Traffic Growth - 517% increase at the end of the year

Organic search traffic grew from 59.68% to 73% of total site visits

Yes, they were prompt. They got to work immediately. We started seeing results by the following month, January 2025.

Same with the domain and hosting migration. It was done within 2 weeks despite delays from my previous hosting provider.
