Rocket Clicks has been a partner for several years. We use their services and they use ours. Strong relationship.

We kicked off the project with Kyle Mealy. They performed keyword research, blog strategy and created feature pages to draw users searching with high intent. The key deliverable was achieving an increase in organic search traffic. Gaining market share from competitors.

We worked primarily with Melissa, Ryan, and Eric. They were the SEO team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Organic search is up 8% in the beginning of Q1. The feature page that the SEO team created is beginning to rank as a primary keyword.

The Rocket Clicks team was very communicative and well organized. They consistently send meeting agendas as well as follow-up items. They have a track record of accomplishing every task that they set for us. We communicate primarily through Google Meet and Google Drive which is an effective form of communication for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The people. Tyler and Nicole are amazing leaders and their passion is contagious. They are very purposeful about the people they bring into their organization and the quality is obvious.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had some difficulty scheduling our meetings where our systems were not working in sync. But Rocket Clicks quickly resolved this issue.

We’re a global boutique organization design firm, and we work with companies around the globe in all different industries to help them determine the best operating model for their business.

My position at the firm is marketing director, so I market the company in all different channels to reach new customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rocket Clicks?

We wanted to use Rocket Clicks for their SEO services to drive more queries into our site to have more people submitting forms and seeking information from us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rocket Clicks mainly focuses on SEO for us, and they also offer some graphic design services. In the beginning, they spent a good amount of time learning about our company, and they did research to find keywords that were relevant to us. Then, we sat down together and combined our heads to figure out what we could make the most of.

Now, we meet with Rocket Clicks on a bi-weekly basis, and they provide weekly updates to touch base about what’s going on that week and to do a recap. Every Friday, they send me an email with all the information.

I also receive monthly reports about performance. They put together materials for our team to review and updates to implement on our site. We’re not doing paid campaigns with them, but I know that they offer that service as well.

Altogether, I’ve worked with five people from Rocket Clicks. I’ve worked with Tyler (President) and their partner relationship manager. I spoke with those two people during the contracting phase, and I still speak to Tyler from time to time. I also work with a team of three people, including a strategist and a project manager.

How did you come to work with Rocket Clicks?

I heard about Rocket Clicks through a colleague. This person knows a company that works with them and has had good success. That other company is also a professional services company that offers some consulting services, so we thought that Rocket Clicks would be a good fit for us.

How much have you invested with them?

Annually, we will be investing roughly $42,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started engaging with Rocket Clicks in November–December 2019, and we signed a contract with them starting in March 2021. Our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The traffic on our site has been one of the big results. We’ve also tracked the number of form submissions on our site and seen how our keywords have moved up in search positions. Additionally, we track which pages are performing really well and which pages people are searching and landing on, and we keep a top ten list of what our organic queries are — all that is helpful information for us.

How did Rocket Clicks perform from a project management standpoint?

Rocket Clicks’ team is really well put together. They’re very organized, and it’s always clear what they are working on and where everything stands. They’re really transparent and helpful with our questions.

Rocket Clicks is worth the money for their SEO services. I know they’re a little bit more expensive than other providers, but their work offers great turnarounds. Their performance, the way in which they communicate, their availability, and the thought that they put into their work go above and beyond what other agencies do.

We usually communicate via email, and we use a lot of Google Docs and Sheets to track the different parts of the project. We also have regularly scheduled meetings via Zoom where we go through the project together.

We aren’t set up in a specific project management tool, but I know that they use SEMrush. They provide me access to the platform, so I can use it on my end, but they manage it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Rocket Clicks’ dedication to being a good partner is impressive. They aren’t looking for quick money; they want to make sure that they can provide what we need, and they really work with us as a trusted partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s a part of their discussion where they try to sell their other services that we don’t need. I can’t blame them because that’s their job, but they sometimes keep bringing it up, which is a little off-putting. However, they don’t do it to a big extent.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They might not be the most affordable company, but they’re really good and provide services that you won’t receive elsewhere. They really pay attention to what you’re saying, so be as transparent as you can and put everything on the table. This way, they will understand what your goals are, and they’ll help you reach them.

They’re continually enhancing our SEO efforts and working on our website to improve its functionality and make it more user-friendly. The team helps with design changes and implementing things. They’re not in charge of our site, per se, but I can always go to them as a knowledgeable source if I’m having any issues. They’re willing to help out and do a lot with the website in general, which is probably above and beyond what we hired them for.

I typically work with two people who oversee the SEO and monitor everything for me.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Since we’ve engaged Rocket Clicks, our business has been up. While our industry in general has been up over the last two years, I’d say that we’ve increased our market share and grown to a degree that’s larger than what our competitors have. We’ve also seen an increase in leads.

How did Rocket Clicks perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a conference call once a month, during which they make suggestions and implement a plan and timetable for making any adjustments.

If any ideas or other things come up throughout the month, I can reach out to them, and they’re very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their knowledge, responsiveness, and willingness to do things right are impressive. They go above and beyond to ensure that not only our SEO but also our website is providing the best experience that it can. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

So far, it’s been a good experience. Everything has gone really well.

Any advice for potential customers?

Anybody with a business of my size should be considering their services. Some people assume they don’t need to spend money on SEO or that they can do it themselves, but having a professional organization take care of it for you is the smart way to go. I feel that we definitely get a return on what we invest with Rocket Clicks.

Brent (PPC Advertising Manager) manages the two other people on the project.

I actually called their competitor, who said they couldn’t handle the size of our project. They gave me Rocket Clicks’ information and said they’d be able to handle it.

Rocket Clicks is constantly evaluating all of the parameters through third-party applications. Our e-commerce director measures all of the trends. However, I’ve been very happy with them. They’ve been able to use data to increase our performance.

They’re phenomenal. They communicate with us at least once weekly, if not more. We communicate via email and phone calls.

Their ability to adapt our program to analytical changes has been impressive.

No, not that I’m aware of.

Dedicate time to listening to what they have to say, and make sure you understand what they’re doing. Also, allow the numbers to speak for themselves.

I am the President and CEO of a metal stamping company located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. We are a short to medium run manufacturing company that services companies across the United States.

I have always believed that if we can get prospective customers into our facility to see how we operate they would then become actual customers. We hired Rocket Clicks to help us reach a national audience through digital marketing and to redesign our website so that when they visited it was like they were in our facility.

Our goal was to reach a larger audience than we were reaching through our network of sales reps, and when we did, to deliver a great experience on our website that captures what Winco can do.

How did you select Rocket Clicks?

For us, the selection process was very easy. We met with Rocket Clicks and there was chemistry immediately. They dedicated a full team to their sales presentation where most other companies we reached out to made us fill out a form on their website and then followed up with a call.

We felt very confident that Rocket Clicks would give us the expertise, attention and dedication that we needed to make this campaign a success.

Once we selected Rocket Clicks as our partner we then had multiple in-person meetings to discuss the scope of the project and to lay out a timeline. Our first task was to get our website redesigned and on to a more user friendly and searchable platform.

Rocket Clicks worked very close with us during this phase to ensure that our voices were heard and represented while they handled the design of the website. Once the website was finished we worked closely to establish our marketing strategy. Again, Rocket Clicks was very helpful in this by showing us the data and allowing us to make decisions along with them on where to allocate our spend.

I personally work closely with the President of Rocket Clicks, Tyler Dolph and our sales and marketing manager has weekly meetings with various members of the Rocket Clicks team depending on what is on the agenda for that week.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

When we started our relationship with Rocket Clicks we had eight independent sales reps working for us throughout the United States. In 2019 those sales reps brought us one new customer. In 2020 we decided to go a different direction and use Rocket Clicks exclusively for our sales and marketing.

In 2020 we gained 15 new customers and were quoting at levels never seen before. We had a positive return on our investment in the first year and this will only continue to grow as these new customers become more established with us.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely effective. There have been weekly touch base meetings and they have been extremely responsive any time we pick up the phone and call them or email them.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The thing I am most impressed about Rocket Clicks is that they actually feel like an extension of our team. Although they are their own company, with many different clients, we feel like we have our own sales and marketing department with Rocket Clicks.

None at this time.

Meetings typically suck, and everyone knows it. We hired Rocket Clicks to help us show the world that meetings should be fun and productive.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to increase the number of qualified leads we were getting each week. Actually, we wanted to increase that number by at least 30 percent.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We met Tyler and Nicole by chance at a conference, and it was business love at first chat. We drove from Chicago to Milwaukee a few weeks later to explore how we could work together, make sure we were on the same page, etc. Bingo!

After we signed the contract, we had a kick-off call with the entire team. They manage the bulk of our digital advertising, including paid search, Facebook ads, SEO. They also help us with a lot of content creation.

As the business development director, I've worked very closely with the president and vice president of the company. Our Marketing Team has bi-weekly calls with our very own Rocket Clicks SEO and paid search teams. Rocket Clicks is so open to helping our entire company that they regularly work with our Art Department and operations director. It's awesome.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Well, we hit that 30% increase in leads we were looking for, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. Our paid search ads and keywords have become much more targeted, leading to higher quality in leads. The Rocket Clicks Team has also helped us dive further into our lead funnel data.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication and workflow has been impressive, frankly. I can always get a quick response from anyone at the company, and they're pretty transparent.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I've been most impressed by how empowered the analysts are in decision making. Their Leadership Team is great, but the analysts and managers are really movers and shakers making everything happen. When I have a question, I go straight to our paid search analyst, Cass, because he's so knowledgeable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Maybe more clear communication on expected completion dates, but even that's been a B+

We’re a surgical and non-surgical aesthetics solutions company that focuses on everything from hair to body. I’m the practice manager for all five locations, and we have board-certified plastic surgeons and a great team of supporting providers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rocket Clicks?

We wanted a greater online presence. Before, we were struggling with creating a solidified message for our global brand.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their team stepped in and helped us storyboard, focus on content, and ensure that the message reflects our brand. We meet monthly to discuss their SEO and PPC work. They handle much of our site content, paid ads, and organic social media content. We collaborate together to make sure everything is branded and reflected our desired message. 

Their team handled keyword research and all of the technical aspects of the development. However, we always met together to discuss their work. That allowed us to share our ideas to achieve alignment. 

One of the areas they developed most was our website, which wasn’t completely in-line with all of our brand standards. Additionally, it wasn’t very user-friendly. They stepped in, starting with a day-long meeting to examine the current state of our website. Then, they broke the steps of the development down month by month. That managed our expectations and kept us involved as they started to maintain and optimize our website.

They have a team of about 5–6 people on our account. One of the team members is dedicated to PPC, another one is in charge of SEO, and another person checks in with logistics. I spoke most with Lisa (Senior Digital Advertising Analyst, Rocket Clicks) and Sam (Senior Seach Optimization Analyst, Rocket Clicks).

They have a very similar structure to our team and believe in the storied brand, which we support. There are plenty of similarities between our companies, but I’m not positive on how the collaboration started.

We started working together around February 2017, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our website has seen more traffic in the past six months. Additionally, we’ve seen a great turnout for events that they’ve run paid advertising for. We’ve also seen an increase in the number of surgical we’ve taken in each month. I appreciate their reporting by modality. That allows us to track where the increases and decreases in traffic are. We’ve been very happy so far. 

How did Rocket Clicks perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re great with communication. If I voice a concern, they get back to me within minutes. Even if it’s just to say that they’ll get back to me with more information later, we still appreciate that response time. We have monthly in-house meetings during which we cover analytics for the previous month and compare the sales numbers of our digital marketing performance.

It’s nice to put their success to a dollar figure. I communicate using a group email, so I can reach several people with information. That way, everyone is in the loop. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re great at coming to us with suggestions that will benefit our engagement. Their passion and knowledge set them apart from others as well as their ability to understand our vision. They put our goals into practice. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. I’ve been happy and impressed with them.  

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As someone who isn’t overly-familiar with SEO and PPC, their monthly meetings make a big difference. They always answer my questions to make sure that I know exactly what’s going on. I’d recommend openly asking questions in one-on-one meetings to get a feel for their level of engagement and passion. That will help you feel confident in their services.

Our organization is an HVAC contracting company, and we provide security services in addition to air vent cleaning and furnace and boiler repairs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rocket Clicks?

We were trying to consolidate our paid advertising, online SEO, and other promotional efforts to allow us to report on those campaigns.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

One of the primary deliverables we wanted from them was trying to get as many leads through our sales funnel as quickly as possible. They came up with some campaign solutions and performed a Google Ads and SEO audit to determine what was working and what we could do better to inform their work. The campaigns took place on Google, Bing, and Facebook.

We also provided them with some audience data and industry terms so that they could help us remarket a little and craft the details for the ads to position us for the best target audience. From there, they also tracked the bounce rate of our PPC ads and worked to address those issues immediately.

What is the team composition?

They had four team members that were working directly with us, and Tyler (Team Lead, Rocket Clicks), kept everyone on the same page over the course of the project.

Our executive consultant had worked with their agency before and thought that they would do a really great job with this project, so we decided to contract with them.

The project started in January 2020 and is currently ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We receive weekly reports on the performance of all of these ad efforts, and we’ve seen a significant spike in residential installation leads through Facebook. As soon as that started taking off, we gave them the authority to manage the ads as they saw fit depending on whether or not they were gaining traction. We’ve seen similar results for Bing and Google PPC as well, which is really exciting.

How did Rocket Clicks perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management skills are excellent. There was a tremendous amount of work to do, but they set up great points of contact and are always on top of communication so that we are able to tackle the work in the most effective way possible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The results that they deliver are incredibly far above the standard for the industry. We had worked with a different provider previously, and there was a lot of waste in our ad spend and it never felt like our account was being particularly managed at all. Since we started working with Rocket Clicks, we’ve felt like we were in highly skilled and dedicated hands.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really can’t think of anything that they should be doing differently.

Identify your pain points and give them priorities, because that really helps to set the cadence for the objectives that you want to achieve.

I am the Marketing Manager for a Personal Injury law firm with 13 offices throughout the state.

We were looking for someone to help us rebuild our SEO presence and to help increase our PPC performance. We also needed to migrate our website over to a new platform.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed a digital marketing partner who understood our field and listened to our needs. We also needed help digging out of a bad SEO/PPC situation. We were also looking for ways to increase the correct leads we have been looking for.

How did you select this vendor?

We looked online and asked for suggestions from others and narrowed it down to three companies. We did initial phone calls, then in person meetings, before having each of the 3 potential vendors present to our full Advertising Committee. Rocket Clicks blew the competition out of the water. Their presentation was professional, intelligent and right on the mark for what we were looking for.

After selecting Rocket Clicks as our vendor we had multiple meetings with them to discuss the scope of the work. They helped us work with another vendor and migrate our website over to a new platform. They now manage our SEO and PPC campaigns. They also help to continue to facilitate our website with another vendor.

I work closely with the President of the company, and have a dedicated team of 5-6 individuals. I have members who work on SEO and PPC and who also help me with my website needs as well.

Since beginning with Rocket Clicks, our conversions have increased and we are bringing in leads that are more in line with our business goals.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our teams work great together. They created an email for our entire team and when I have questions or concerns, they are answered very quickly. We also set up a slack channel and I can call at anytime. We have bi-weekly calls where we touch base.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was very impressed by the knowledge this company has. The team I have is very attentive and knows what they are doing. They are very easy to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is always room for improvement in any situation, but honestly, when things do come up, things are taken care of and resolved quickly.

We’re an e-commerce business focusing on kitchen and bath products like faucets and other things. I’m the head of marketing and merchandising.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rocket Clicks?

The main reason we engaged with Rocket Clicks was to be our primary SEO partner. We did have a team member on staff but decided that we would be better served by outsourcing and leveraging a partner agency to get more expertise across a variety of different areas as well as assistance with our content creation.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They started with a technical audit that uncovered a number of different opportunities with respect to the site structure. One of our main goals has been implementing a more secure protocol on the site, but we’ve expanded into keyword research, content strategy, and more recently migrating the content on our site to a new domain.

What is the team composition?

We work primarily with three folks in charge of the account on a daily basis, essentially an account director, an account manager, and an account analyst. They each have different areas of expertise and experience, so they work together to handle the technical and the content sides of our project.

How did you come to work with Rocket Clicks?

We wanted to find someone reasonably close to us. They’re not in our office every week, by any means, but we did want there to be some element of closeness so that they would be able to spend time understanding our business and our needs. We received a couple of references from companies in our area and went with them from there.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend about $8,500 a month with Rocket Clicks, so over the whole period of time, we’re in the $200,000 range.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with Rocket Clicks for almost three years now, since February 2017 and currently ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The first year we worked with them we saw a significant increase in our SEO traffic. In year two we encountered a few bumps because of some Google algorithm changes and the technology that our site was built on, which is why we decided to switch brands and re-platform in the first place.

We’re seeing month-over-month improvement on the new brand, but we haven’t fully launched that site yet so it’s a little bit too soon to provide metrics on the performance there.

How did Rocket Clicks perform from a project management standpoint?

We’ve been really happy with their follow-through and communication. We have weekly calls, and they’re doing a really good job tracking the minutes and the different kinds of initiatives that we’re working on, as well as following up on all of those. They are very detail-oriented and thorough with their deliverables.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their eagerness and willingness to understand our business really sets them apart. They’ve taken the time to understand how we work and then integrate seamlessly into that system. We use a lot of our own internal development tools and for that, they submit tickets directly to our development team, so they almost operate as an extension of us more than a service provider.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be nice if they did more in the way of link building, but that’s just not something that their business is focused on. There’s nothing specific that they have done for us that I wish they had done better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The key is just being very clear and upfront in your communication. Establish what your internal objectives are so that you can establish a roadmap and timeline against that.

In SEO, it’s very easy to go into it with unrealistic expectations, since it’s not something where there’s any sort of magic bullet or immediate return. You have to have patience and stick to your strategy to achieve your goals.
