I'm the Graphic Designer and Digital Marketing Manager for Metro Hospitality Group, an Australian owned accommodation provider offering hotel rooms, suites and self contained apartments in Sydney CBD, Greater Sydney including Miranda, Newport and Ryde, Melbourne, Perth and Darwin.

For what projects/services did your company hire Rocket Agency, and what were your goals?

Metro Hotels had been running Google Ads campaigns for some time, and performance was consistent. Rocket was engaged to look for opportunities for growth and improve Google Ads performance. Our focus has been on optimising SEM, SEO for our Hotel website and other small digital design projects.

Our core objectives were: * KPI of $110,000 in Revenue from Google Ads monthly. * Drive direct bookings through our Metro Hotel's website by ranking above Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) for relevant and/or competitive terms.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

This vendor was recommended to us by another agency we work with who provides our Booking Engine platform. We met with Rocket and discussed our budget and aims. We decided on going with Rocket as they met our budget, had great reviews and worked with other hotel providers so were familiar with our goals and the industry.

The original scope of work included Google Ads work - completing a full account audit, engaging in in-depth keyword research, building out new ad campaigns, and ongoing account management.
Scope of work now also includes SEO - further keyword research, keyword management and search intent analysis. Rocket is also in charge of implementing a detailed content plan and enhancing technical and offsite SEO.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The Google Ads campaign launched in August, and by November Paid Search moved from the third-highest source of revenue to the second-highest.
Revenue from paid search increased by 138.66% YoY - the biggest improvement from any channel.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have had consistent fortnightly meetings and monthly reviews, as well as open communication with day to day emails and phone calls when needed. The workflow has been outstanding with quick response and implementation of all briefs.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Rocket Agency has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We have seen fantastic results well exceeding our KPI's every month, and the team are fantastic to work with, quick to respond to every query, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and reliable. It has been a seamless process working alongside them.

So far everything has exceeded our expectations. We are now working with them on more projects!
