I’m the co-founder of Fusion Cards, a company that provides an intelligent payment orchestration platform that optimizes consumer transactions in real-time by maximizing rewards, offers, and managing due dates based on user intent.

We wanted to create our own design system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rock Paper Scissors created a design system for our brand. Their work scope included defining brand guidelines, defining design token language, creating UI components, and designing five screens using the design token language.

It was a milestone project.

We met them at the Global Fintech Fest. Their pricing fit our budget.

We worked together from April–May 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had milestone-based deliverables for the design system they were creating. They defined our brand guidelines and demoed the design language they were designing along with UI components. Finally, they delivered five screens using this new design system.

How did Rock Paper Scissors perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time. In fact, they delivered before the timeline of the project without compromising quality. We communicated via virtual meetings, emails, and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their timelines and quality were impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

During the project, we were promised that we would be shown a demo of converting two screens into code using their in-house AI “Orange.” This demo was supposed to help us gauge the value of the product and implement it in our organization at scale. However, this promise was not delivered.

Key deliverables included a complete brand book and identity system, the creation of our public-facing website, the design and development of our core lending marketplace platform, and a seamless UI/UX for both web and mobile applications. Additionally, they delivered a suite of marketing creatives, including short presentation videos, and provided exceptional ongoing 24/7 support for urgent requests and proactive design reviews.

We successfully launched a fully functional and visually appealing lending marketplace on schedule. We have also received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our users, who have praised the app's intuitive design and seamless usability. Furthermore, their proactive approach to design reviews significantly reduced our internal iteration time, accelerating our time to market.

Most of the deliverables were submitted on time, with only minor delays during some iterations which were communicated in advance. They were responsive to our feedback and showed a good understanding of our business needs, often adapting quickly to changing requirements. Overall, their collaborative and solution-oriented approach made the engagement smooth and effective
