We commissioned ROCC Film to produce a series of videos. The videos are for the website of a pharmaceutical company that produces special heat patches for back, neck and knee pain. The videos feature a sports scientist and a physiotherapist performing sports and stretching exercises. ROCC Film was responsible for finding the location, casting the physiotherapist, filming the videos and doing the post-production work.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We were able to integrate the videos into the website as planned. This content is a supplementary service, help content for the target groups. The videos are search engine optimized and also appear on YouTube. Thanks to the videos, we were able to increase organic traffic, significantly extend the length of stay and increase the return rate.

The project management was very professional, and inquiries and change requests were all dealt with promptly. The close exchange and collegial cooperation was particularly important in post-production, as the text inserts in the videos were checked by various departments in the pharmaceutical company, such as the specialist department and legal department. ROCC Film implemented all content change requests promptly and at no extra cost.

The director and the cameraman both acted very professionally on set and coached the two protagonists very well. The atmosphere was relaxed the whole time. The shooting days were a lot of fun, the atmosphere was good and the cooperation was very respectful and trusting.

There is no area that I think ROCC Film needs to improve. I was very happy with the collaboration and the results and the pharmaceutical company was delighted with the quality of the videos.

The outcomes were pretty clear. The Swiss brand got a sleek, high-quality advert that captured exactly what they wanted with luxury feel, authentic Berlin atmosphere, strong visuals. Engagement on social media jumped after the launch, with way more views and interactions than their usual posts. They also saw a noticeable bump in inquiries and web visits right after the ad went live, which directly linked back to the campaign. The brand was especially happy because the content resonated both locally (in Berlin) and internationally. Overall, Plush74 and ROCC Film managed to deliver something creative and impactful that clearly moved the needle for the client.

The most impressive thing about ROCC Film was their eye for detail and creativity. Honestly, nothing major. Maybe clearer communication around a few small details early on, just to keep everyone fully aligned. But overall, they nailed it - no big issues at all.

We needed support to produce a video interview for an end client, which was a consulting firm. We needed to work with a service provided that could produce the video on short notice.

The video portrayed interviews with two high rank German professionals: a judge and a politician. ROCC Film Berlin took care of the entire filming process, which included writing the video's script, providing the filming crew and 3–4 cameras, and managing the editing and postproduction process. Our company has a very stringent process to ensure our brand guidelines are maintained. Everything from the look of the shot to the graphics used are monitored very closely. ROCC went through several weeks of training with us and were a pleasure to work with. They picked up all of our nuance and it showed in the final product delivering some of our best videos from around the globe.

There had not been a time where communication has been an issue. They were direct with their timelines and understood that we sometimes need to be very direct with ours. They constantly worked within our schedule to find the best solutions for our final project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Above all of the exceptional communication, this group adjusted their shooting style and look to meet our specific company needs but maintained their extreme quality and feel. They improved upon an already well-established international film program.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have traveled some great distances for us and always outperformed our expectations. I would be hard pressed to find significant room for improvement.

ROCC Film Gbr created a recruiting video. We made a small storyboard together, and they interviewed the person and took pictures around the diagnostic center. Finally, they filmed the background, the interview, and the typical workflow to show what we were looking for.

We had a lot of good feedback from the recruiting department, competitors, and social media. The video’s visual style, music, and dynamics were outstanding.

Moreover, we cut the video into three separate videos for social media, and we saw an increase in recruitment thanks to that. We used it for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, our website, and recruiting sites.

In general, we were very satisfied with the organization and kickoff meeting. We got a lot of support from the production and camera team. They created the video from another perspective, and it was a great working relationship. The atmosphere was relaxed and professional.

Project management was excellent. We’ve had other projects with other agencies, and they’ve been unsuccessful many times due to their late deliveries and bad communication. With ROCC Film Gbr, the communication was good, and our engagement was really professional.

I was the former head of business development at a venture capital and consulting firm. We had more than 800 people covering six different companies, and our business model was building new startups in the financial services area, helping them with their first idea, fundraising, and scaling. At the same time, we wanted to make it more tangible with user feedback. We then decided to produce a small video that would show different emotions and content from different people. As a result, we hired ROCC Film Gbr to provide video production services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

ROCC Film Gbr helped us establish the video’s main idea and structure. We only provided them with clips of our digital products, and they did everything else, including storyboarding, editing, and audio mixing. In the end, they created an animated video of all of our digital products. They also featured several customer interviews, and those recordings had the surrounding city views as their background.

Since the idea was to create a bank for restaurants, we needed to make it more authentic by talking to a lot of restaurant owners to understand their pain points, especially in availing of financial services. On top of that, they provided a voiceover during the parts where we showed the animations of our digital products.

We relaunched the Commerzbank Mobile Banking App and were looking for a production company to create an advertising film to promote the relaunch internally. We wanted to inform everyone about the new features and possibilities the new app would have and also motivate the Commerzbank employees throughout the world to use and recommend the app.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were a little short term with our idea and needed a production company that is fast and flexible. We found this in Rocc film.

First, we brainstormed together what the content of the video would be. We decided what we want the key message to be and who we need as interview partners as well as which pictures we need to underline these messages. They travelled to our HQ in Frankfurt for us, moderated and filmed the interviews and additional scenery and edited everything in a very short time.

We worked directly with the owners of Rocc Film, Christian and Christoph. Feedback would go back and forth quite fast and easy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We showed off the new video on the intranet and the feedback was amazing. Everyone was now on the same page about the new and upcoming features of the app and even the ones that were a bit sceptical about the relaunch were now fans of this new app.
