From 2022. Ro Team leads gaming media relations activities and press office for Niantic in the Polish market. They play a critical role launching new games in an important growing market for Niantic. As part of the partnership, they track the Polish market, advise on new opportunities, and ensure that Polish journalists can attend international gaming events, including in Berlin and Las Vegas.
Success is measured by the impact of the press coverage generated (influence and reach of target publications) and the interest generated in and attendance at international events.

Ro Team helped introduce TomTom Telematics to the Polish market. In two years of cooperation, they created dozens of press materials and guides conten and supported the brand during its transformation into Webfleet Solutions. They worked in the areas of:

Both good rates of purchased advertising space and the number of negotiated materials counted.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In a few months, together we were able to build, basically from scratch, a quite noticeable presence in the Polish transportation and technology market. Overall, we have successfully conducted 4 media and advertising campaigns together. Ro Team generated more than 750 publications in business media during the cooperation.

I’m the marketing and sales manager at Student Depot, a chain of products for student dormitories in Poland. We build dormitories and deliver accommodations to students.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RO Team helps us with marketing and PR projects on a daily and monthly basis. They manage Google and Facebook Ads and have a content team for the social media material. Also, they do social media work daily for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. We have various long-term plans with them.

We work with a project manager and the owner.

How did you come to work with RO Team?

I worked with them for three years at my previous company and liked them a lot. I’d seen how much they cared about the product and clients, so I recommended them to my boss.

We’ve spent €150,000 (approximately $161,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in May 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

RO Team really cares about and understands our product, and they look deeper into our needs. We have much more responses than we had with the previous agency. The conversion rate has grown in some dormitories by 35%. We’ve had more than 160 movies, and some were amazing.

How did RO Team perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager is available any time we need her. We set proper dates and material to post through an internal tool. In general, they’re flexible with whatever we need. Also, the communication is excellent; we use email, phone, and Microsoft Teams to communicate.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Even if they don’t know something, they double-check and do research. They never say they don’t know. The team will check with experts and do whatever it takes to get us an answer. Overall, the key part is the project manager. She thinks the same way we do and understands us. If she says no, it’s because she doesn’t think it’s the proper way, and she’ll propose something else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I wouldn’t change anything. I really like the setup we have. It took only a couple of meetings to understand each other.
