Rex Black was brought on to do day-to-day maintenance and development of new site features, and also to deliver on a few large-scale projects. 

These projects included replacing current checkout process with a custom-built experience on site, updating the global branding (assets, fonts, etc) of all brand sites, launching international marketing and eCommerce sites and constructing a new prospecting feature (a Quiz).

Successful testing and implementation of checkout process

The Rex Black team is highly organized. Their project manager for our account keeps on top of all active and upcoming tickets, and manages time wisely in meetings. They complete projects on time partially because of this organization strength. Also, their deep knowledge of the brand enables them to ask thoughtful questions and provide relevant feedback/ideas to the digital team. If questions or issues arise, they are quick to respond and address the issue.

Rex Black does not over-promise and under-deliver. They are realistic with expectations but at the same time challenge themselves to accomplish whatever is asked of them, whether it is a last-minute emergency ask or a new direction for a project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Rex Black, Inc could have done differently?

Expand their testing criteria for certain feature implementations (such as checkout testing.) However, with feedback, they are quick to correct and adapt.

Rex Black runs the backend of our SFCC site and helps us build out new functionality to take our business to the next level. Some examples of notable projects:

• Rex Black just launched our new checkout flow where we aimed to mimic Shopify's ShopPay UX/UI to help strengthen our overall conversion rate and customer experience. Based on A/B tests comparing to our original checkout, results from the new Rex Black checkout are stellar and we plan to continue making optimizations.
• Rex Black helped us change all of our site fonts in a very timely manner as our brand went through an entire re-brand.
• We are almost done with taking our regimen finder quiz in-house so we don't have to work with a 3rd party vendor anymore. We collaborated closely with Rex Black to redesign the entire quiz and add updated functionality and advanced analytics. So far, it looks amazing and we are excited to launch it in the near future.

It depends on the project, but we've measured project success based on:

So far we've been seeing great ROI on our new checkout flow, which has been our biggest project we've done with Rex Black so far!

• They deliver items in a very timely, collaborative manner, making them very easy to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Rex Black, Inc's e-commerce knowledge and willingness to quickly find a solution to our requests are impressive. We've worked with other development agencies in the past who put more of an emphasis on logging hours and not as much focus on actually wanting to improve the customers' experience on our site.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Rex Black, Inc could have done differently?

None that I can think of. We are very pleased with their work.
