Renua partnered closely with our leadership, product, and engineering teams to support the end-to-end design and branding efforts across our core digital products. Their scope of work spanned brand development, mobile application design, and web application design, with a strong emphasis on translating product strategy into intuitive, scalable, and highly polished user experiences.

From a product and UX perspective, our collaboration with Renat, the lead product designer on our mobile and web applications, was exceptional. Renat was a true standout and one of the primary reasons we chose to work with Renua. He operated at the level of a senior in-house product designer, consistently demonstrating strong product thinking, excellent design intuition, and a deep understanding of both user needs and business constraints.

Following the launch of the redesigned mobile and web experiences, we reached over 10,000 users within the first few months of the mobile app launch, significantly exceeding our initial adoption targets. The improved UX, clearer product flows, and cohesive branding played a meaningful role in driving early engagement, retention, and word-of-mouth growth.

From a commercial standpoint, the product experiences designed in partnership with Renua supported rapid monetization, helping us scale to approximately $200K in annual recurring revenue (ARR) shortly after launch. The clarity of the value proposition, intuitive onboarding, and high-quality interface design directly contributed to higher conversion rates from free to paid users.

Internally, the introduction of a well-structured design system and reusable components materially improved our development velocity. Engineering handoff became more efficient, iteration cycles shortened, and design-to-build alignment improved across teams—reducing rework and accelerating feature delivery.

Renat led the design of complex product flows across iOS, Android, and web, owning everything from early discovery and wireframes to high-fidelity, production-ready designs. He proactively partnered with engineering to ensure feasibility, anticipated edge cases before they surfaced, and continuously elevated the overall quality of the product. Working alongside Renat felt less like collaborating with an external vendor and more like working with a trusted, long-term member of our core product team.

On the branding and illustration side, the work delivered by Marat and Rostik was equally outstanding. Their illustrations and visual assets brought a distinctive personality and clarity to our brand that significantly elevated the final product. They demonstrated a rare ability to balance creativity with functional product requirements, producing illustrations that were not only visually compelling but also purposeful and consistent across platforms. Their attention to detail, responsiveness to feedback, and ability to iterate quickly made collaboration seamless and highly effective.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Renua could have done differently?

Overall, our experience with Renua was extremely positive, and any areas for improvement were relatively minor. If anything, meeting more frequently at certain phases of the project, particularly during early branding exploration could have helped accelerate alignment and decision-making even further.

Additionally, while the final branding output was excellent, a slightly faster turnaround during the initial brand discovery and concepting phase would have allowed us to move into execution sooner. That said, the quality of the work ultimately justified the time invested, and Renua was always responsive and collaborative once direction was established.

These are small optimizations rather than fundamental issues, and they would not deter us from working with Renua again. We would gladly partner with them on future projects.
