Renesis Tech has been our partner for six years. We’ve been working on this project for about 18 months, which is developing custom software from scratch that pulls DMS and CRM management tools and data into our system using multiple APIs. The engagement started with a discovery project, and since then, they continue to make updates and add new features that they show to us through a video that showcases the new features they develop.

Their team has also worked with other developers from our team to create different options with the services we perform and add and change criteria on our original plans.

Currently, they’re providing maintenance to the platform.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Users have been impressed with the platform Renesis Tech developed for us. Overall, we’ve received positive feedback on the platform from auto dealers and functions according to our needs.

How did Renesis Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Skype, Google Sheets, Google Meet, and Monday.com to communicate about the program, ask questions, add more features, change properties, check statuses, and do other day-to-day chats. They also work within our established budget and adapt to the project’s pace.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve been great at taking care of our change requests through a responsive approach, which is the most important thing for us at the moment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — they’re transparent in communicating their daily work, and that’s all we can ask for, so we can’t complain.

Keep constant communication with their team; getting them to understand and manage your expectations is key.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve been working with Renesis Tech for around six years. For our most recent project, they’ve designed and developed a web application for us from scratch. Although we didn’t define a formal scope, we did provide them with a lot of documentation to start the project. Since then, their team has collaborated with our internal developers. This project has lasted over 18 months because we continuously add new features to it and update it.

The web application we’ve built pulls data from car dealerships’ DMSs and CRMs using multiple APIs. Once we have that data in our system, it uses it to run reports on demand. Besides this project, Renesis Tech has also developed other applications for us, but not as data-driven as this one.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The feedback we’ve received from users about the web app created by Renesis Tech has been very positive, and the product works as intended.

How did Renesis Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

Renesis Tech provides us with a video on a regular basis to show the updates they’ve been working on. We use Google Sheets and Monday.com to communicate, add new feature requests, and ask questions. During development cycles, some things might change, so we can also add requests midway through the cycle. Besides using Monday.com, we occasionally communicate with them via Google Meet or Skype.

Regarding budget management, we manage the budget because Renesis Tech works for us on a monthly fee agreement. If projects are going slower than expected or need more time to be completed, we have a meeting with them to talk through those challenges and avoid exceeding the hours.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Currently, Renesis Tech’s most important quality is their responsiveness to making changes.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Although I’m not very knowledgeable regarding coding and development, Renesis Tech does a great job of explaining the things they’re working on and the progress they’re making. Thus, I can only encourage them to maintain that level of communication.

Keep the communication going. For these types of projects, clients can only manage expectations through clear communication.

Renesis Tech is guiding me through the development process — they understand what my goals are and are helping me achieve them.

I utilize Renesis Tech’s online portal to track their project progress and development strategies. We have weekly Zoom meetings to discuss what the developers are working on and discuss project ideas. They have excellent project management, and we usually communicate via WhatsApp.

Renesis Tech is excellent — they communicate well and understand what exactly I’m trying to achieve with my platform.

Renesis Tech has utilized Java and React Native to build our web- and mobile-friendly application. They've devised functionalities that provide our users with a virtual and interactive museum experience as they navigate through the different areas of our art gallery, mimicking a physical museum trip.

Our main point of contact is their account manager, and we also work with their frond- and backend developers, an iOS developer, and a UI/UX designer.

Our big launch will take place on February 2022, and we're looking forward to achieving our business goals and meeting our users' expectations with Renesis Tech's help.

We communicate via Skype and regular sprint updates, while we rely on Monday.com for project management. Renesis Tech meets our tight budget and deadlines and collaborates efficiently and transparently with our team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Renesis Tech are the developers of our platform, which they built from scratch. We’re in a startup and launch phase, and they have been in charge of the tech development. The product is a voice detection AI system, which they made in JavaScript and Python. 

What is the team composition?

I worked with 6–10 people from their team, including project managers, tech supporters, client relationship agents, developers, and designers.

How did you come to work with Renesis Tech?

I found them through a Google search. I interviewed with them to ensure that they could build the product to the scale that I needed. I contacted a few different companies, but some didn’t understand the idea, some didn’t have the time to do it, or they couldn’t do it according to my expectations. Renesis Tech also gave me better solutions to the challenges we had.

We started working together in December 2020, and it is ongoing. They're still in charge of the tech part and supporting us with the launch as well.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We have measured success based on user demand and user retention, which we’re currently trying to do, but they did a great job bringing the idea and product to life. Before that, it was based on meeting deadlines and keeping the timeframes that were always executed on time.

How did Renesis Tech perform from a project management standpoint?

They dedicate one project manager to my project — they handle everything well, and they are always available whenever we have questions. If there are any issues, they immediately fix them. In terms of tools, we used Monday.com for a while, and we switched to ClickUp for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their honesty in what they can and can’t do is outstanding. They try their best to get everything done no matter what, even if there is an issue. They tell us what we should do and explain to us the reasons why — their team is straightforward and delivers. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could acquire a little more talent in specific domains like design. If more experienced designers and developers are required, it can be better.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Sometimes big ideas are great, but sometimes it can be too much, and no one can handle it. Start slowly and don’t give them too much at once.
