Scope of work:
1. Rebuilt our data foundation. Migrated us off Airtable into a secure, scalable database – cleaning up messy fields, setting the right access to people and easy pull of the database for analysis.
2. Automated the user journey end-to-end. From first touch to signed agreement, every step is mapped between the front end user experience and the back end database, inclusive of an ops tool to manage our users for internal use.  (intake → onboarding → payment → prenup experience).
3. Launched and managed our conversational AI agent. They designed and trained a chat experience that answers questions, nudges next steps, and routes to our vetted attorneys after.

Key deliverables:
1. Migration from Airtable to our own database (with documentation, monitoring, and backups in place).
2. Full automation of the customer journey (triggered communications and status visibility for the team).
3. A managed conversational AI agent to drive engagement and reduce drop-off (with ongoing tuning and analytics).

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Better control of the business. Cleaner data and clearer visibility into users, revenue, and operations. Decisions now happen on facts, not assumptions.

Revenue increase. The automated funnel and proactive follow-ups translated into more completed journeys and higher conversion across the board.

Happier customers. Our NPS moved in the right direction as the experience became more guided, allowing users to learn faster and move through the sales process more efficiently.

• We hired RemoteState to build a robust, AI-powered audio platform that supports live transcription, monetization, and content amplification for both creators and audiences. Our primary goals were to create two seamless applications—one designed for creators to easily host live, call-in radio shows and another for audiences to access and interact with these shows. We needed an end-to-end solution that would enable instant broadcasting, live text transcription, and custom URL sharing for a broader reach without requiring listeners to download an app. RemoteState’s role encompassed the full scope of technical development, ensuring a stable, scalable, and user-friendly platform aligned with our vision.
• Our goal was to expertly restore and operationalize our tech infrastructure. After a significant $500K investment in 2022 to rebuild our platform, our code and systems had deprecated due to paused development. Given the complexity of our architecture—spanning five distinct apps, multiple APIs, and SDKs in various languages with high visibility—we needed a specialized team to reinstate our platform on servers, ensuring a seamless experience for investors to see, use, and engage with our technology.

The scope of work for RemoteState was extensive and included the development of two integrated platforms: one for creators (native on iOS and Android) and one for the audience (reactnative for Adroid and iOS) and the web. For creators, RemoteState built tools to initiate live, call-in shows, handle live transcription, monetize content, and amplify reach through custom URLs. For the audience, they designed a responsive interface that allows users to receive text alerts, listen live, and interact without needing an app. Key deliverables included real-time audio processing with minimal latency, secure data handling for live broadcasts, a seamless user interface, and a scalable backend to accommodate high traffic volumes and future growth.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

RemoteState’s work resulted in a fully functional, dual-platform solution that met all our technical requirements. We observed a significant increase in user engagement due to the live transcription and instant alert features, which expanded our audience reach. The platform's stability and performance metrics were impressive, with no major technical issues post-launch. Additionally, user retention and feedback indicated strong satisfaction with the interface and overall usability, validating the success of the project. Overall, RemoteState helped us achieve a successful product launch with reliable performance and a smooth user experience.

This was my absolute favorite part of hiring RemoteState. RemoteState’s project management was highly efficient, with clear timelines and proactive communication throughout. They ensured all deliverables were met on time and accommodated any changes or additional requirements with flexibility and professionalism. Their team was responsive to our feedback and kept us updated at every project phase, which helped streamline the decision-making process. Finally, customer empathy (and not in a perfomative way) was among the best I've ever experienced in my 2+ decades-long professional career.

While RemoteState consistently delivered high-quality work, some aspects of the initial project onboarding could have been more streamlined. More structured discovery sessions early on might have helped clarify some technical specifications upfront. However, their responsiveness and adaptability mitigated any early miscommunications, and overall, we were highly satisfied with their work and would gladly collaborate with them again.

The functionality of the project is robust, and the usability has greatly enhanced the overall user experience. The team's commitment to understanding our requirements and translating them into a tangible product was evident throughout the project. The collaboration was seamless, communication was clear, and milestones were achieved in a timely manner.

They used the Agile project management style as it is Iterative and flexible, with work divided into sprints or cycles. Changes can be made throughout the project as needed. As for communication tools we used:

A lot of the project is confidential. Tech used was React, Go, AWS and Twilio. We started with a design review, then dev cycle with weekly updates, then testing and QA, then release.

The project was delivered on time and on budget. Quality was high and the app is very functional.

They provided great communication around the project's progress. Punctual with their deadlines and very little drift.

While they did deliver according to their timeline, I was hoping the project would have been completed sooner.
