Remark tackled a wide scope of work in the finishing motion graphics for a feature documentary, from text motion graphics, to manipulating archival documents, adding parallax, movement and animation to illustrations, complex motion graphic animation and design, 2D and 3D manipulation. It was a long and complex film with many deliverables, and their team handled it all very well.

Delivering finished motion graphic assets on time.

Project management and communication were very good with their project lead and additional video editors. We could communicate clearly through video meeting and messaging apps. All projects were delivered on time and within budget. They were very good at handling revisions and clarifying the scope of work. Terrific work!

Remark translates the ideas and concepts that we provide into visuals. They’ve created static images, videos, and playable ads across different platforms; most of the ads they’ve created are run on Google.

We have one point of contact from their side who manages our account. We’ve also interacted with 4–5 people depending on what task we’re working on.

We started working together in July 2022, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

I don’t have the metrics with me right now.

How did Remark perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been able to execute tasks within the proposed budget. There have been some delays, but we’re working together to sort this out. We use email, phone calls, and Slack for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like the fact that Remark is always willing to take on challenges —. they never shy away from going into a space they’re not familiar with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They need to improve on managing timelines and bandwidth.

I’m the director of Vr Mobility Private Limited. We have a platform-based application where users can book rides within the electric vehicle space. Our company isn’t at the launch stage yet.

Remark has provided us with branding services. They’ve created our brand guidelines, brand book, and logo. Currently, they’re working on developing our social media handles, and they’ll provide social media marketing (SMM) on LinkedIn. They’ll also help us promote our website. 

We’ve collaborated on marketing strategies where we provide ideas, and they provide their expertise in guiding us on how our strategy will work to achieve our goals. The marketing strategy will also help us raise funds, and the team has designed a few pitch decks for us.

We work with 8–10 teammates; each person has handled a different requirement. Additionally, I’m in touch with Remark’s founder, who coordinates the project.

I had already worked with them on small projects a few years ago. Initially, I found them through Instagram.

We’ve invested around $1,000–$1,100.

We started working together in August 2022, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m pretty happy with Remark’s work and their time discipline. Before working with them, we didn’t have any logo or branding to represent our company. The branding they’ve done has helped us with many strategic partnerships with whom we’ve shared our brand guidelines. Having the brand book also helps us when working on our content. 

How did Remark perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve delivered everything on time and within budget. Moreover, their responsiveness is good, and their turnaround time is pretty quick. We signed an agreement, and there’s been 100% compliance — everything has been documented. Additionally, the founder has good expertise.

We use Notion to track the project’s progress. For communication, we first talk over the phone and then get on a Google Meet call to discuss things further. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with Remark’s creativity. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there’s anything they need to improve; we haven’t had any problems.

I would definitely recommend Remark — and I have. The team is worth the money you’ll pay for their work.

Trucknetic is a tech-first logistics company. Trucknetic means that a truck is always in motion. It is catering to long-haul inter-state road transportation space carrying B2B commodities in bulk in India. It is creating a marketplace/ aggregation platform for both shippers and carriers where loads are provided with both ways (front haul and backhaul) using high-end technology such as artificial intelligence, machine learning etc. I head growth for the Trucknetic.

For what projects/services did your company hire Remark, and what were your goals?

Trucknetic is here to redefine the trucking. Most of the part of this happens over our Trucknetic carrier App. Team Remark helped us put together explainer information in the form of an engaging video. The Video was crafted in multiple languages to serve different country regions.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We met Remark through a reference, who put in a lot of good work for the time. Remark has a creative aura around the web and we were highly impressed with the agency credentials. It was all smooth post the first meeting with the Founder and the team, which helped us believe them with the project.

They started with a discovery meet with the stakeholders to understand the requirements better. The timeline was crafted post then on the brand dashboard which the Remark team provided us on the day of onboaring.

We moved on to the scripting part, then Voiceover and mixing, and then presented with the first draft. We were totally involved in the process and everything went ahead post our approval. Remark helped us with the trails of revisions post the first draft video.

Team included - Account Manager, Illustrator, Animator, Content Writer, Sound Assistant and Voice Over Artist.

The videos did significantly good on all the platforms, and it served the purpose.

The communication was quite smooth as the team was available whenever we had queries or suggestions. Feedback was taken positively. Overall it was very transparent.

They were an excellent mix of content, design, and strategy team. The most impressive thing I found was they always heard the feedback and gave us more ideas and suggestions that ultimately made the video look good.

The time slot of the revision got a bit extended, maybe a void could be easily filled by a highly talented team.

During the time of this project, I was the co-founder of B2Bazaar, a B2B sourcing platform that’s specifically curated for the IT industry.

What challenge were you trying to address with Remark?

We had a vision of catering to small businesses, and we partnered with Remark to rebrand our company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We began the project with several brainstorming sessions. Remark’s CEO was present during those meetings, and we discussed the directions we could take with the brand. We then set the standards and premises for the upcoming deliverables and established a delivery calendar.

Remark created a brand identity for our company and tailored our collateral and stationery. They showed us how to play with colors to achieve a cleaner aesthetic, target audiences better, and retain relevance in the market. They delivered a new logo and creative assets for our social media as well. We also asked them to create a pitch deck that we could use to impress investors. For that, we provided all of the content, and they worked on the themes and designs. 

What is the team composition?

They assigned 2–3 designers to the project along with an account manager, who was constantly in touch with me. Their CEO, on the other hand, handled the bigger decisions. 

How did you come to work with Remark?

I was referred to them by a common connection who knew how good their work was. I checked out their Instagram portfolio, and I really liked the out-of-the-box concepts that they had. I connected with them, and they shared their Behance portfolio and other relevant works. 

I was initially a little skeptical since they were more into the B2C space and had only done  2–3 B2B projects. However, their portfolios showed their caliber and expertise in relatable branding. I felt that they could do the rebranding I wanted for the company, so we moved forward from there.

The money spent was under $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We were connected with them in August 2021, and we worked together for one month. We took over after they finished the work.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The brand Remark created still holds to this day. The designs were on point and impactful and allowed our company — which was just starting out at the time — to enter the market with a strong identity. Investors really aligned with our concept just from having seen the pitch deck and brand information alone. 

I’m really satisfied with their work and would give them five out of five stars. My co-founder initially had a difference in opinion, but once Remark understood what we were expecting, they were fluid enough to adjust and complete the work on time. 

How did Remark perform from a project management standpoint?

They were really professional. I wanted a lot of flexibility, and they provided that. There was a proper systematic approach from their end, and everything was delivered on time. 

I hadn’t worked with an advertising or marketing agency prior to this project, so I was a little skeptical that we could only make a limited number of corrections on any design. However, I later figured out that the way Remark managed the project actually helped out a lot. Had I asked them to redo certain designs over and over, the other deliverables would’ve been delayed. 

We kept track of things through email, and we had a WhatsApp group where the designers got involved in discussions and provided suggestions and feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re a youthful team that’s full of creative ideas. They showed a lot of professionalism and experience as well, which was a pleasant surprise to me. I was only looking to these young minds for out-of-the-box ideas, but I was really impressed with the level of professionalism that they brought with them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I have no constructive feedback for them. They had a small team when we were working together, and I suggest they continue expanding it in order to confidently take on bigger scopes. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Remark puts an emphasis on making sure that clients are in the most comfortable zone., so focus on the initial meetings. It will allow you to get to know each other before you get into the actual brainstorming, and it will set the context for the upcoming deliverables.

We had been following their work on Instagram. Having our roots to the same college, I already trusted them. I asked for their previous works, and after a few meetings, we decided we are a good match.

We did few initial meetings where they gathered info on the deliverables. They gave a timeline about how things would work. Step by step, we worked on brand names, logo, business cards, letter head and packaging designs. We used to have meetings before finalising results. They were open to suggestions and iterations. I was given ample time and they were patient.

I worked directly with two people. They were the founder and director of the company. They supervised on behalf of the team, and looked after brand strategy and content development. The designer also joined for a few meetings as per the need.

We are very happy with the final results. Their contribution made a very big difference to brand. Their experience on other fronts gave a good perspective. We appreciate the way things were executed.

Their management style was superb. They sticked to timelines, communication was clear and smooth. We used to have 2/3 meetings a week initially, which later was conducted only when required. Whats app and mail exchanges were efficient and formal. They gave their unfiltered advice on things even if It was different from what we had in mind. That was a bonus.
