BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and position.
I am the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of VONZU Tech
Describe what your company does in a single sentence.
Vonzu Tech provides a cloud-based (B2B SaaS) last-mile delivery management platform that automates logistics operations for retailers and carriers through route optimization, real-time shipment dispatch tracking, and digital proof-of-delivery tools.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What specific goals or objectives did you hire reloadux to accomplish?
- At Vonzu, our SaaS platform handles the intricate digitalization of last-mile dispatching, urban route optimization, and operational incident tracking. Shortly after we joined forces with Moova, we faced an immense product challenge. We had to unify our European software components with Moova's deep-tier cloud logistics architecture while catering to two completely different user personas: regional warehouse dispatchers handling high-stress route anomalies on large screens, and third-party delivery couriers operating on cheap mobile devices under unpredictable sunlight. We brought on Reloadux to completely redesign these critical portals. Our primary objective was to lower the massive cognitive load on dispatchers tracking route deviations and to make the mobile driver app entirely foolproof, preventing data-entry errors when cargo handoffs occurred in the field.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
The engagement required completely re-architecting how dense operational data translates onto the screen. Reloadux mapped out entirely new logical frameworks for our most active environments: The Smart Control Tower Grid: A comprehensive dispatcher dashboard mapping out real-time delivery exceptions. They designed a layered, contextual side-panel workspace that allows a dispatcher to resolve an delivery vehicle breakdown, re-route the remaining cargo boxes to alternate drivers, and alert the end-customer—all without leaving the primary live map view. The "Zero-Friction" Courier Portal: A high-contrast, thumb-optimized mobile interface built for couriers. Reloadux stripped away complex text fields, replacing them with massive gesture-based confirmations, smart camera-scanning states for immediate barcode ingestion, and a unified electronic Proof of Delivery (ePOD) signing signature workspace. The Unified "Moova-Vonzu" Component Library: A massive, multi-tenant UI kit holding hundreds of production-ready web tokens and atomic components, structured to ensure our platform scales across European and Latin American development teams identically. Key Deliverables: End-to-end desktop dispatcher interactive flows and production-ready mobile layouts. Clickable micro-interaction prototypes visualizing barcode scanning states and real-time drag-and-drop map scheduling. A WCAG-compliant design system architecture, completely documented in Figma with matching layout codes. Thorough technical asset packages built out with direct JSON styling properties for our core engineering hubs.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The practical improvements to our software's usability became obvious directly after launching the updated portals: Substantial Reduction in Erroneous Dispatches: Dispatchers now resolve delivery vehicle incidents and adjust driver paths significantly faster, turning complex multi-step routing corrections into clean, error-free interactions. Immediate Drop in Mobile App Driver Errors: Thanks to the high-contrast layouts and gesture-based actions, drivers completely bypassed input mistakes during delivery handoffs, dramatically lowering the volume of support tickets coming from the field. Rapid Customer Onboarding Time: Our client-facing onboarding specialists reported that newly registered logistics operators are mastering the platform's core dashboard with minimal manual training sessions required. Engineering Speed Up: The precision of the design tokens provided by Reloadux allowed our engineering team to implement clean frontend code directly on the first run, totally eliminating layout re-work loops.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Their approach to management was flawlessly execution-driven. They worked in strict weekly sprints that aligned smoothly with our internal product deadlines, utilizing Notion for centralized design tracking and keeping conversation casual yet constant via asynchronous Slack channels. A genuine test of their flexibility occurred when our core retail clients requested an immediate, unforeseen expansion of our reverse-logistics (returns management) feature modules. Reloadux pivoted mid-sprint, shifting their interaction designers to map out the complex multi-step return validation workflows ahead of schedule, preventing a major bottleneck for our development roadmap.
What was your primary form of communication with reloadux?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What set Reloadux entirely apart was their exceptional structural understanding of fleet management data. They never acted like standard agency designers who just paint a clean UI coat onto a surface. They fundamentally understood the physical realities of the supply chain—the stress of a dispatcher during a peak delivery window or the harsh lighting a courier faces on the street. They prioritized raw functionality, structural logic, and data density over pure aesthetics, resulting in an incredibly robust enterprise tool.
Are there any areas for improvement or something reloadux could have done differently?
While the collaboration was overwhelmingly successful, communication around the design system's technical edge-cases could have been tighter early on. During the first monthly handover, a handful of complex interactive data charts used layout concepts that our existing React framework couldn't support out-of-the-box. We had to take a few steps back to simplify the visualization math. Had Reloadux run a more rigorous structural audit of our exact engineering constraints during the opening week, we would have avoided those minor styling adjustments later on.
