We hired Ratio to create, then implement designs for a more ethos-driven website. We then kept them on the help us make our web app much more scalable by cleaning up our existing workflows and databases and make them run much faster and more smoothly. We then got Ratio to help us find solutions to key integrations we needed to incorporate into our app. They then helped us build those integrations.

Our web app is much more scalable and runs much faster and more smoothly.

Projects were either on time, or else the timeline was clearly communicated. Dennis and his team were responsive to our concerns -- when we felt we didn't have clear visibility into their work timeline, we came up with a solution together that worked with our systems.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dennis listens. In spite of being in a very different time zone, he made himself available when we needed it. When we had concerns or didn't agree with the direction he and his team went with a given project, we communicated critical feedback to him, which he accepted without ego. He and his team are truly invested in helping us build our business, even if that meant scrapping a project and starting over -- we were never just a number to them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ratio could have done differently?

I wish we didn't have to design a project management system between us. I wish it had been more intuitive to either plug them into our project management system from the beginning, or else receive a regular update on the timeline of current projects instead of reaching out manually each week to check.
