First and foremost, I’m a chef, but I’m also a political figure (former White House chef) and motivational speaker who raises awareness for the military, suicide awareness, and bullying.

What challenge were you trying to address with Rank Secure?

I have a very diverse platform, and I wanted them to tie all those focuses together with a website that was organic, fun, and engaging. It’s often hard for political figures to bring people together, but my reputation is quite non-denominational. My requests run an extreme range, but I brought on Rank Secure to develop my website and raise my profile across the entire digital realm. Most importantly, however, I needed someone to catch me and my services in the right light, as my previous vendors failed to do.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rank Secure began their work by evaluating my old website and suggesting that I switch to WordPress after seeing several issues, including security. Security is critical to me, as I’m in the political world, and people may try to hack and damage my site because of my message.

In terms the feel of the site, Rank Secure developed a simple user-friendly interface, which fits the younger audience I’m trying to target. The website is full of one-click features; it’s easy for people to submit their information for bookings, and it all comes right to me — their name, contact information, and more. The site is beautiful to the eye.

Speaking of my audience, because my topics of focus are so wide-ranging, I have to focus on specific sections of my audience. Rank Secure helps me determine which segments to cater to at certain times. This specificity was built into the website structure. Their team made sure the site felt cohesive, yet also separate and focused.

The final part of their work has been SEO and social media marketing. Rank Secure has gone through my profiles on all my networks (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and optimized them.

I’d tried three other web development vendors beforehand and had such negative experiences that I very much doubted Rank Secure would be different. However, when I reached out, they responded immediately. I hopped on a call with Baruch and had a very positive relaxing energy. Ratings can only tell you so much, so I go by people’s energy. Our conversation was very natural, and Baruch wasn’t pushy. He just asked me to try him out — no harm done if it didn’t work out.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The results have been astronomical. I’m not sure what I was at prior, but I currently have around 270,000 followers on Instagram, and I know my LinkedIn profile has risen from around 300 connections to over 27,000.

All these numbers came in from the website; Rank Secure portrayed me and what I do in a very positive way. In fact, the numbers are so good that people assume I have a huge team behind me. I don’t; it’s just Baruch and Rank Secure. You don’t need a two-man team if the one is the right person.

Finally, their SEO work on my website has brought in so many people that it feels like a true community; the website feels like home. The entire product is so much more personable than my previous one, and far exceeds the websites of the military and governmental groups that I work with. I have a completely different experience.

How did Rank Secure perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate over Zoom and Google meetings; I like to converse with people eye to eye.

Baruch is great at reaching out and letting me know about changes, as I’m very busy and travel often. If they catch glitches that I don’t see or see another angle on a piece of content that may not portray me in a good light, they’ll call me up and ask for my permission to resolve the issues.

Baruch himself is available 24/7, even after midnight. It’s probably happened a dozen or so times where I’ve messaged him at 2:00 am with a question and he’ll respond right away. This type of responsiveness is critical for someone in the public eye like me. He’s definitely very comforting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I really love about Rank Secure is that they’re a boutique service with a family attitude. When you sign on, they treat you like family. Baruch doesn’t run a company where everything has a cost; they just talk to me and treat me like family.

I’m a serial firer, so if I have to tell an employee what to do and how to do it in their own profession, then I don’t want them on my team. If I do more than someone, then I don’t want them on my team. I’m going to hang on to Baruch and Rank Secure.

Where other vendors will only deliver exactly what you ask them for, Rank Secure always delivers extra, suggesting improvements they know will benefit me.

Finally, even though the website is amazing, I still love their energy the most.

No, there aren’t. Everything has gone as planned — better, actually. I’d be overwhelmed without them.

I tell this to myself: be humble. Listen to the experts. I know a little something about everything, but I depend on the people that I work with. Other vendors try to cut corners and put Pinto engine in a Lamborghini, but Rank Secure never short-changes you.

Rank Secure helps me with a variety of things in my capacity as a surgeon and as chairman and CEO of many companies. They provide an all-encompassing service. Their services include SEO, website development, and PR.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rank Secure builds websites for me from scratch. I provide basic documentation, and we have minimal back-and-forth communication. When a website is live on a private server, they ask us to review it. Usually, they finish websites with minimal direction. 

In terms of PR, Rank Secure works for us on two fronts. First, they create a positive digital image for us. Then, they manage online reviews and everything else in the digital world to maintain our good image. To preserve our positive image, they manage our social media platforms. We don’t have time to worry about online postings, so they manage those things independently. On top of that, they enhance our image through various methods, such as organizing interviews with prominent global publications. We also don’t have the time to organize such activities, so Rank Secure does it for us and gives us the details of the interview. The team has also created a Wikipedia page for us.

When we were looking for a team to hire, we called around a few companies. We had plenty of challenges, and I noticed that the other firms we were interviewing were more interested in talking about the retainer and monthly fees. By contrast, Rank Secure wasn’t concerned about any of that. Instead, they wanted to focus on the challenges and problems that they needed to fix for us. In fact, without even a formal agreement, they’d already solved the problem for us. Our corporate cultures also matched, so we knew they were the right people to work with; this was the start of our engagement.

The costs depend on their scope of work for a particular project. However, the average is between $5,000–$7,000.

We started working together in February 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

One success metric we have is the existence of our Wikipedia page. It hasn’t been challenged in years because of the references they’ve put in place. To elaborate, creating a Wikipedia page is quite challenging; one needs appropriate references — if it doesn’t have enough power, it won’t stand the test of time. With that in mind, the Wikipedia page they’ve created has been great. 

Moreover, the team has been able to connect us with the most sought-after publications globally. As a result, our digital image is markedly enhanced, and that’s been apparent to our staff. We’re a small organization, and we spend a lot of money on this engagement. However, the Rank Secure team does valuable work for us — our image is constantly getting better. This enhanced image also leads to better business and revenue for us.

How did Rank Secure perform from a project management standpoint?

Rank Secure requires minimal direction from us, so they’re good. The team has a policy to under-promise and over-deliver both in terms of costs and timelines; their costs always come below the budget and their performance is higher than expected. 

To communicate, we use all methods available, such as text messaging, emails, and telephone calls. Multiple people from our organization are assigned to communicate with Rank Secure through Baruch. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

PR is a specialized service, so finding a team that provides the range of services that Rank Secure has provided us is impressive. They’ve been able to do everything from Wikipedia page creation and website development to SEO. Not many firms are as versatile as their CEO, who coordinates all of those services for us in a cost-effective but high-quality manner. 

For comparison, we’ve experienced going to large firms, and those firms usually put us on retainer. When we speak with their partners over the phone, they tell us they’ll bring another partner from another division. Several weeks later, they’ll come back with a proposal. By contrast, Rank Secure simply asks us what they need to do.  

On top of that, when we get inappropriate negative reviews online, Baruch always figures out a solution to deal with them. He usually writes us back within 24 hours telling us that such reviews have been removed. I haven’t found this kind of service in other organizations. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. The Rank Secure team has done everything we’ve asked them to do even if those things seem impossible.

Be clear and organized as to what you need from Rank Secure. Prepare your resources. If you organize everything and know what you exactly want, then the team can do more for your business. If you’re a small to medium-sized business and you need a range of services to be accomplished, they’re absolutely the right place to go.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Rank Secure is in charge of our digital marketing activities, including our social media efforts on Facebook and Instagram. They ensure that whenever people search for dentists in our area, we’re always on top of the page. Their team also updates our website, and they take pictures of our office. They attend our events so that they always capture photos of our team. In addition, they create campaigns, especially when we want to see more patients.

Since we have an astronomical amount of patients coming into our office, Rank Secure helped us develop a call center because of how busy our phones are. On average, we get 400–500 new patients every month when an average dental office only gets 10 patients. They listen to all of our calls and is in charge of our QC, too.

We’re number one on everything — on social media, Google, and more. When we ask people how they found us, the majority of them always tell us that they found us on Google. You’d think we’re a massive corporation with the amount of money and patients that come into our clinic.

Our reputation is great because of Rank Secure, and it’s definitely a relief that we don’t need to worry about anything because they’ve got our backs. We also appreciate that we have all the analytics we need to know the status of our projects. We’ll always continue working with them because they're the main reason why we’re so successful.

We can always reach out to Baruch at any time of the day; he always picks up the phone seven days a week. We have a very good working relationship with him because he’s very transparent with the money we spend on Google every month.

On top of that, he stays within budget, and we see that he’s very invested in our success — he really cares about the clinic. When we’re having a lower month, he goes out of his way to make sure that everything goes back up. We communicate through text messages, phone calls, and emails.

Perhaps, Baruch could be less engaged because he’s so focused that he keeps me constantly on my own toes. He’s definitely game about everything, but everyone also needs to be on their game.
