The project began with a discovery phase and we explained our goals. We reviewed competitors websites. A plan was formulated where Google would start recognizing us a market leader and begin ranking us accordingly. Back-end changes were made to individual page content to include relevant keywords.

At roughly six months in, we could see the 'small snowball' start to gain size and traction and month after month sales increased. We have been very pleased with our partnership with RADD Interactive and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Since implementing the SEO efforts, we are ranking on the 1st page for many keywords that were not ranked at all and some keywords that were on page 2 or more. Our organic site traffic, bounce rate, and time spent on the pages is continuing to move in the correct direction.

The project manager has done an excellent job at communicating with myself and my boss throughout this project. We mostly use email to communicate, though the few times that I needed to speak in person, I was able to easily get in touch with the PM. Response, to any emails or calls, is always in a timely fashion.

If I needed any changes made, they were made promptly. We meet monthly for a report call that shows us more information that may have been released about Google’s algorithms, new ranking keywords, and analytics metrics.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their overall knowledge of the ins and outs of SEO and analytics stands out. Our market is somewhat of a niche market, with many people not understanding how wood stakes, equipment, and tools may be used, yet they have done an excellent job of keeping keywords relevant with only a few minor changes needing to be made through this entire project, and those changes were always completed quickly.

The advice and knowledge they have shared through this project has not only helped our SEO, but it has also made me feel more confident in edits that I make myself personally, and even helped when I add more content/pages to the website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

So far, our experience with them has been pretty flawless. The only area I could possibly suggest improvement is for the SEO team to relay which pages they have optimized as they complete them.

Thankfully I am able to see what edits the SEO teams complete, because Big Commerce shows us who has made edits to pages, so it has not caused an issue for us, but it could potentially cause confusion for companies that do not have the option to see who, or when, edits are made.

I followed a referral, and after interviewing them, decided that the services they offered were a good fit for my business. I particularly liked the fact that they were data driven and could provide detailed reporting as to their progress.

Their engagement began with a discovery phase goal planning. They help with keyword research and performed a competitive analysis. From there, Radd made on-site changes to content to ensure proper keyword densities. After that, we began creating search, display, gmail and shopping ads for Google (and Bing) to generate both interest and conversions.

They assigned a project manager for Technical SEO and a project manager for Paid Search. In addition there were SEO and Paid Search specialists who communicated about the progress of their efforts.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

For Technical SEO, we are now ranking for many more keywords on the first page of the major search engines. Traffic and conversions have grown steadily over the past three years. For paid search, we have seen both an increase in traffic and conversions, and are now scaling up campaigns.

Radd Interactive has bee great about managing expectations as well as meeting deadlines. We communicate by email as well as regularly scheduled Zoom meetings. They are always quick to respond to ad hoc questions.

Their level of professionalism and overall understanding of the industry as well as the technology is very apparent. They did a fair amount a research before we got started, and they have continued to stay focused on my brand, the marketplace as well as planning for future activities, such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I’m always looking for new ideas to increase traffic and conversions. It would be great if they would be a bit more proactive in offering ideas and suggestions.

Over the last 17 months our CUMULATIVE page 1 rankings have increased from 36 to 471. Our overall traffic has increased significantly as have our conversion rates. We don't have hard ROI data, but based on the results, we believe we have received a strong return on our investment.

Everyone at Radd Interactive has been to Charm School. They are all very nice, professional and pleasant to work with. We have monthly progress reports which are followed by electronic copies summarizing resutls.

Their site analysis technology is very helpful in understanding how Google with handle changes in content. It helps make the process more efficient and provides a solid analytical foundation for the SEO work. They also work closely with Google and have a good understanding of how Google works.

If would be valuable to get a little more of their insight on content strategy based on the ranking reports they provide.

Since Radd took over our SEO campaigns we have seen a steady increase of first page positions on our keywords. We went from around 20-30 keywords on the top page to over 1600. SEO takes time to get going naturally. We are very impressed with the results in the year and a half that we have been with them.

We have monthly meetings where we go over all the numbers. They keep us posted on anything that needs more work. They will communicate changes in Google's search algorithm. We also communicate by email. It is always easy to get ahold of our account manager.

Their Google craw bot technology really is impressive. We had tried a few SEO companies before and we're always looking for more. Radd Interactive has delivered on their promise, and they've been extremely professional the whole time.

Their costs are a little higher than most SEO companies but the results speak for themselves. So it is hard to complain about when you are seeing great results.

They did a good job. They helped me understand the process better, and they did a good job coaching me. They found problems with the website that I didn’t know about. They were clearly able to show me trends, target key phrases, and make it to the top of SERPs.

I typically communicated with Raymond over Zoom calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Raymond communicated well and was very encouraging. Not everyone can explain SEO effectively, but they demystified SEO so I could understand it better.

No; they don’t need to improve anything.

You have to be very hands-on. You can’t just turn everything over to them and expect to see significant changes. They’re going to provide advice, and you need to implement the changes they suggest.

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start the engagement, they did their own research about our company and how to best optimize our site. Their strategy is built around first-page ranking. They want to increase the number of pages a given site has that rank on the first page of search results. When we started working together, they noticed that a number of pages on the site had first-page ranking, but that these rankings were dropping. They’ve worked to implement the proper keywords to maintain and improve the rank of our pages. Our site uses Kentico, so they’ve also worked with our developers to make any structural changes necessary to achieve this goal. We track relevant statistics using Google Analytics.

I have one main point of contact who maintains a team of three or four people. He serves as the project manager, keeping me up to date on any relevant project information.

Our site’s organic traffic has risen by 163% since starting our engagement. In line with this, the revenue from organic traffic has increased by 520%. We’ve been really happy with these improvements.

How did Radd Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve done great. I’m mostly concerned with the metrics surrounding our work, so since they’ve done well from that standpoint I haven’t asked them to do anything differently. We have monthly calls via Zoom, and they send me emails at least once a week about how we need to restructure the site.

Their initial confidence in their ability to improve my online presence has translated into tangible results. Also, I think communication has been easy because they’re based in the US.

I’d appreciate having an itemized list of changes they’ve made.

Give them time. If anyone promises you an immediate increase in organic search results, they’re probably going to do it the wrong way.

I’m the CEO of MagicKitchen.com. We sell prepared frozen meals and deliver them to people’s homes. We also send them on behalf of insurance companies, government agencies, and other clients. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some county governments send our meals to COVID-positive people who can’t go grocery shopping.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Every week, they send us a set of updates that we can put on our website to improve our organic rankings. They manage PPC campaigns in Yahoo!, Bing, and Google. They also manage Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads. We provide basic concepts and they help adjust the content for the ads.

Whenever we want to make a change to our website, their team gets involved and provides feedback. Other than that, they create content for our site.

Abbey (Account Manager) is our main point of contact and she gets other team members involved as needed.

We’ve worked with a couple of different organizations before. In the past, our partners were initially very effective, but over time their results declined. As I began looking for a new partner, a contracting agency reached out to me several times. I figured we could give them a chance and they introduced us to Radd Interactive.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m extremely happy with their work. Before working with Radd Interactive, our site was abysmal, but they’ve done an amazing job. We now rank on the first page on several search engine results pages (SERPs).  

They’ve also increased traffic to the site. Several years ago, we used to attract about 500–600 visitors and it got down to 35–40 visitors before we started working with them. Now we have about 1,800–1,900 views a month.

On the PPC side, they’ve built out a lot of different campaigns and have remarketed some things.

They’re very knowledgeable because they’re immersed in digital marketing. As a Google Preferred Partner, they are quick to adjust to Google’s changes. As a result, we’ve seen a great return on our investment.

Generally, our goal is to earn a 4x return on our investment for our PPC campaigns. It’s a pretty aggressive goal, but Radd Interactive has helped us meet it. In some cases, we’ve earned a 17x return on our investment.

They’ve never missed a deadline. They provide monthly reports as well. They usually just email us. Whenever we ask a question, they get back to us in a timely manner. Every month we have a call to identify keywords

They always live up to their commitments. Unlike other companies I’ve worked with, they’ve consistently delivered what we need. They always do their due diligence and provide a true consulting perspective.

As long as they continue to get results, I don’t think they need to change anything.

Their team was great about following up on every detail we asked about because there are so many small things that might seem less important.
