The project was to develop an IOS app, an android app and an admin panel. all of the features and steps of the project were determined and mentioned in the project.

We agreed that they will make an iOS and android app and a web admin panel for the fixed price of £21,955. The workflow and wire-framing the project was valued at £1000 (as mentioned in the contract we agreed on, as well as in email correspondence). They created a payment plan that asked for the majority of the fees at first (They asked £5,191 to initiate the project)

They did not deliver on time or competently. they delayed delivering the wireframe for months because they put a junior person in charge of the entire project. I decided to terminate the contract as I realised they will not be able to deliver the project on time, but they refused to agree the termination. 

They agreed at the end, by that time they had only worked on the workflow and wire-framing portions which were valued at £1000 in the project. but they refused to agree that they should pay the rest of the fee back. They refused to listen to me and ignored me.

That they stole my money. Its honestly unbelievable but they ask for a large sum to begin work and then they did the smallest amount of work before we stopped working together. but they refused to pay back the portion of the initial payment that wasn't used. all of this is laid-out very clearly on the contract, but they just refused at first, and then ignored me.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Quytech could have done differently?

I can only say that they shouldn't steal from people. they knew I was a young and inexperienced kid and they took advantage of my nativity and then ghosted me.

So far, Quytech has completed all the tasks we’ve assigned to them. They’ve delivered the features within a reasonable timeframe and level of quality. 

How did Quytech perform from a project management standpoint?

We have daily standup meetings with them. Initially, our communication was all over the place, but it improved over time. We use Slack as our main communication tool.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their flexibility and capabilities. Also, whenever something goes wrong, they address it promptly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on giving advance notice whenever they’re going on a holiday break. Also, one of the things I’ve noticed is that they don’t have much experience with design — they can improve on that as well.

It's been an absolute pleasure to work with them; the game is good, and they’re great with content, story writing, and character inputs. Overall, they're a great team — I’m 100% satisfied with their work, and they’ve exceeded our expectations.

Project management has been super; they meet the requirements and have meetings with us two times a week. In terms of communication, we use Google Meet, Telegram, Basecamp, and email.

Their approach, documentation process, and the development itself have been great. Overall, they do everything exceptionally well.

The most impressive part about Quytech was their outstanding customer service. During the project I was involved in a car accident and contracted COVID, during this their team was very understanding working with my admin assistant to keep the project moving

I did have to ask for some help and manuals on the more technical aspects of the project, so I may advise that they develop a few more materials in the future for those with non-technical backgrounds to understand. Other than that everything was great.

Provide a more formal charter/structure. As a first-time designer, I think it would be easier to describe or give feedback in a template that is clearly understood by both parties (including timelines, financials, etc.).

We wanted to add some games in our Real Money Gaming category which is why we approached Quytech, in order to get their help in bringing our concepts to life!

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched google and came across Quytech's profile on Clutch, reached out to them and started working with them. It was a pretty straightforward discussion with them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They created two games for me. One is called 'Penalty Flick' where users have to shoot the football into the net and they get extra points if they hit a moving target and no points if the ball goes wide or hits the keeper.

The second game is called 'Keepy Uppies' where the users have to juggle the football without letting the ball drop. For every juggle, the user gets one point and for every time the ball drops, the user loses five points. For both the games, users have 60 seconds to accumulate as many points as possible.

We worked with 5 to 7 people. Not sure about the positions as my tech team was collaborating with them. But they did a really good job so doesn't really matter how many people worked on the project.

Not yet, as the games still haven't gone live. But we're sure they'll be a hit.

Both the teams were continuously in touch over skype. The TAT was quick.

They offer high-level Unity Development at a very good price, and they offer a lot of support in terms of bug fixes and getting the Unity code integrated with our app's React code.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Probably a bit quicker and detailed at times in terms of their communication over skype. But apart from that everything was top-notch. Working with them again on a couple of new projects and would highly recommend them to everyone!

We searched online for app-developers particularly in India. After some exchange of views on the matter, we decided to go through with Quytech for this project based on their experience on this field, technical competence, design skills and cost-estimate.

We had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. We provided their team with wireframes and various designs. Later on, they delivered the Web Panel frame and thereafter first round of the IOS and Android App. They incorporated our numerous feedbacks and delivered the final revision of the web portal and app just as we demanded them.

A project manager was assigned be our main point of contact throughout the project. Additionally, I interacted personally with many of their staff each of whom is an expert in their own field such as IOS, Android and web panel developers and their related team leader in charge of coordination and testing activities. Besides, I was in direct contact with the Key Account Manager for the progress of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We reached the final phase of the project and I can already say that once the App and Web Portal will be launched, we will have a unique product in the industry thanks to the fact that they successfully handled a very difficult and comprehensive project.

The project manager was easy to communicate with and provided frequent updates on the ongoing project. Most of our feedbacks was through e-mail and online meetings. However, I had also an opportunity to have in-person meetings in their office where I could interact directly with the persons interested in the project. Thanks to the interactive working environment they created, we have made very effective progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their technical skills on projects such as a mobile app-web portal development are at a very high level. Although our project was quite challenging in a very different field that they had not experienced before, they've adapted to the project easily and fully incorporated our requests and feedback into their outputs. Another aspect that we find positive about Quytech is the spirit of cooperation and availability of direct interaction for any single issue o matters in the phase of the development.
