**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Director of the Digital Banking platform

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Quintessential SFT, and what were your goals?

We wanted an Angular expert to help us rewrite our Angular UI to be more modular, less buggy and to play nice with Ionic across Browsers, iOS, Android. The angular expert would work along our Angular engineers as a subject matter expert and as a colleague.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We shortlisted 2 vendors, but preferred Quintessential because of their background in front-end development and expertise in developing and designing mobile apps/browsers.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The angular expert was part of our scrum team, working in 2week sprints. They delivered ~14 sprints, with tons of deliverables on each sprint. The high-level scope was to rewrite the app, and to include new screens/journeys like Corporate Admin, Inbox, Profile, Onboarding, Open Banking etc The wireframes/designs were delivered in Figma (a Quintessential resource helped here as well for 2 months), our analyst wrote the user stories including the designs, and the scrum team (including the Quintessential resource) planned and implemented as many stories as possible within each sprint. The analyst and myself were prioritizing the stories.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

1 Angular expert (~9m) 1 Designer (2m)

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our angular code base rewrite was a success. We can now support all Ionic targets (Web, iOS, Android) without platform specific issues. We were also able to refactor our responsive design codebase, so that to address prospect customer feedback about it. Finally, the theming of the app is now more modular, which is critical for our business In general, rewriting the whole UI is a very dangerous feat. The Quintessential expert contributed tremendously in our success.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Not used, the resource was part of our Scrum team, so they were reviewed as the rest of the team: based on the sprint deliverables.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Immediate feedback, young people, passionate with their jobs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Could participate in-person during the scrum rituals (4 times per month), rather than remote ...

Marketing Associate, Bryq
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 11-50 Employees
- Review Type: Online Review

**The Review** — May 12, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Quintessential SFT’s designs were high-quality, streamlined, and reflected the company’s aesthetic, receiving positive feedback from the client. They fostered a productive partnership by being responsive and communicative. Overall, they were patient and accommodating.
""They really cared about getting my vision right.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Marketing Associate at Bryq. We are an AI-led talent intelligence platform that transforms HR decision making in hiring, growing, retaining and managing talent based on objective data.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Quintessential SFT?

We needed a website that matched the incredible things we are doing with our product. It needed a relaunch and we needed something that was going to feel modern, tech and just friendly enough with a human touch.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We considered about half a dozen other vendors globally. At the end of the day, the deciding factors were price, value for money, and how much I thought I'd enjoy working with the teams in question on this project. The team at Quintessential were motivated, eager to take on the project, communicative and easy to talk to. I wanted to hire a team that would be easy to work with without any fuss.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We needed a complete redesign of our website. I had to create new copy, find new images, and I needed a completely new design. Aggelos recreated important web pages, created new ones from scratch, created animations, built forms, helped transfer the pages from our old site to our new one, helped me recreate my blog, and added so may new and wonderful features.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We only worked closely, 1-on-1 with our UX Engineer, Aggelos. We also worked with Socrates Charisis in our initial discussions of what we were looking for. His demeanor and professionalism was largely why we went with Quintessential. The rest of his team was equally as wonderful.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

It's too soon to give statistics, but we feel confident that the new design is going to attract more clients. It feels like our aesthetic matches how advanced our product is. The design is easy enough for me to go in and alter when necessary, and it's interactive just enough so that it's still user-friendly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Any time I needed anything at all from Quintessential it was taken care of right away. They were just as communicative and timely throughout the project as they were in the initial discussion phases. Aggelos was patient with me, and really listened to me so that the vision I had of what the website should look like in my head translated onto the web page.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It felt like a truly custom-made project that was catered perfectly to our company, and it felt like they really cared about getting my vision right. I've developed a great working relationship with him and these types of projects usually feel transactional.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At times there was too much white space/blank space within the design, but Aggelos was able to fix it with a bit of tweaking once I communicated that to him.

Project Manager & Communications Lead, ReGeneration
- Industry: Other industries

- Client size: 11-50 Employees
- Review Type: Online Review
- Verified

**The Review** — Jan 12, 2022

**Feedback Summary**: Visitors responded positively to the site's exceptional UX, design, and interactivity. Quintessential SFT showcased their expertise by delivering a modern site that best reflected the growth of the client's organization. They ensured a seamless workflow by leading a productive feedback process.
""I was impressed with their expertise, professionalism, and agility.""

**BACKGROUND**
Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the Senior Project Manager and Comms Lead for ReGeneration, a non-profit organisation and the largest education and employment impact program for young graduates in Greece, aiming at democratizing access to education and opportunity.

**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
For what projects/services did your company hire Quintessential SFT, and what were your goals?

As ReGeneration was growing, we needed to have a website that best reflects the impact and growth of the program but also an upgrade from the latest version which was a bit rigid and not that modern any more.

We also wanted to have more control and access to it as a team and not solely rely on external partners for changes and updates that due to the dynamic of the program are very frequent. Quintessential was hired for the development and design of this new WordPress website.

**SOLUTION**
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We already knew the work of Quintessential SFT team as we have partnered in the past for the development of the program's platform and app. However, we did pitch the project of the website to one more agency. Quintessential SFT was selected due to a combination of factors including flexibility, delivery timeline and cost.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We provided the Quintessential SFT working team with a detailed brief and we kicked off the project after an extensive meeting aiming at reviewing the old website, assessing it and also identify our needs and expectations from the new website. A more rigorous design thinking workshop followed, in order to define user and admin flows.

The next steps included the presentation of two different designs (with web and mobile variations for each design) to evaluate and choose from. The prototypes were made in Figma so that the whole feedback process was real time and interactive. The prototypes delivered included the main page and the academy page template (our main “product”) On a second phase we were presented the designs for the other major pages ( the team, about us, timeline of achievements, partners etc).

As design was being finalized we were provided with a styling guide with the fonts and colors to be used. The whole design process lasted about three weeks. Then we proceeded to the development phase where we chose the use of Wordpress for the development of our website. That was the proposal of Quintessential SFT based on our custom needs and their experience.

The development phase lasted around 6 weeks where there was a frequent exchange of information between our team and the development team. There was an extensive use of Custom Fields and theming in order to accommodate the complex information of our projects. Also there was a flawless integration of the website with our custom made management platform.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

A UX Engineer and a Front-end Developer have worked for the design and development of the new website.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

As the website is being visited by many stakeholders (due to the nature of the program and given the fact that it is our main tool of communication with them) we have observed and also received feedback for better user experience, design and interactivity.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had frequent catch-up calls (on occasions, even daily ones) and updates were made on a timely manner. Reaction was most of the times immediate, when needed, and if not we were notified accordingly. The interactive and real time feedback process through Figma was very helpful and efficient for both sides.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed with their expertise, professionalism, and agility.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

In some cases, the response rate can be improved.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I did an extensive research study on the top software houses in Europe. The study resulted in 5 shortlisted candidates. After interviewing all of them, I realized that Quintessential had deep experience of software engineering and a forward looking agile mentality. The deciding factor was their passion for building high quality products and their desire to add value to the project

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

A detailed spec was provided to the team, which was then analysed in detail during the workshop. The spec was followed closely and revisited after each deliverable.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with 2 frontend developers and 1 backend as well as 1 PM

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We managed to roll-out the first version of the product early which enabled us to start making impact to our clients. We then worked iteratively to deliver the rest of the milestones and prioritised by impact

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We communicated directly via email, IM and video calls. The team was very accessible and responsive. For PM we used ClickUp

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As soon as we started working with Quintessential and conducted the workshop. We realized that we were able to rely on them for high-quality solutions. It enabled us to focus on the business in the meantime. The team quickly got up to speed with the product vision and tried to add value not only from a technical software design perspective, but also from a user journey and product perspectives

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

While the quality of their work is excellent, one of the areas of improvement is giving more visibility on the releases i.e. release notes and features for better visibility
