We are a startup in fintech domain with the goal to develop a mobile application for BTC, ETH transactions. My role is product manager here, so I'm responsible for the idea elaboration, following development and market's release.

QubStudio selected for their expertise mainly. One of our goals was UX design and guys provided great knowledge there. Among other competitors, QubStudio accepted to start the project ASAP, which was important for us.

The process was straightforward and well-known. Kick-off meeting where we presented our goals and idea, the application flow. After that guys proposed a timeline and bi-weekly meetings to review progress. We started with UX research and analysis, which last for a week.

At the end of 2nd week, we were presented with the first ideas and design concepts. There were 3 designs presented and we selected 1 main, which became the main one. Another 2 weeks and again bi-weekly meetings we had to finalize the whole flow of the application and sign off the design.

Being a startup, we don't have any progress/results to demonstrate as we didn't release yet.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The schedule was presented after kick-off meeting and approved timeline, alongside with meetings schedule was strictly followed. Every single meeting accompanied by meeting notes and overall communication was clean and on time. Communication channels were: email and Figma (for sharing UI parts)

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They have the unique ability to listen to customer's needs and provide solutions, rather than suggestions. I was pleased with the timeline and cost, which I found pretty cheap, in the sense of hours spent/money paid

We are a complex ticketing solutions provider. Our project included an interface to manage tickets turnaround, marketplace website event ticket sales, a system that allows event security scan tickets at the entrance, analytics for event managers. Gastrolli ticket management was a SaaS design that allows to create event, launch and forecast ticket sales, process payments and much more.

Qubstudio was hired to design the whole product and manage the development team.

What were your goals for this project?

To give event organizers a complete, modern and convenient solution for ticket sales and management.

How did you select this vendor?

I contacted a number of other companies for an estimate, however, I found that no other company really understood what I was about to create. Speaking with Qubstudio, not only I saw that they understood my product, I also felt like it was really interesting for them.

The project was indeed huge and complex with many features. As the first step, we designed a back-office for event organizers and website for online sales. After launching the minimum viable product, we moved to a continuous deployment phase. We were continuously improving product and designing new features and modules: event hall constructor, finance module, entry control app, box-office for offline sales, etc.. In the process, we both had new ideas and faced new challenges. As an example, this is how we came up with a system that allows live sales monitoring.

What was the team composition?

Throughout 3 years of continuous collaboration and multiple products, various Qubstudio teams and employees were involved. Qubstudio assigned the right people to the right tasks and we were satisfied with their expertise all the way through, and there were no unexpected movements on their side.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Speaking about our public website, after we redesigned it, the bounce rate dropped from 70% to 40%. Successful conversions (paid orders) increased from 3% to 12%. We’re now the biggest and most popular ticketing solution service in Ukraine. Needless to say anything else!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

With all the time we spent together with Qubstudio, we got used to a very close collaboration. When our business needed extra urgency, Qubstudio found ways to accomplish them, sometimes they had to work long hours, but nothing stopped them from releasing designs in time. They also had effective design processes and it was easy to track the progress along the way.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were the only company who understood our quite complex product and they never lost that grip along with the project. Whether we came to their office or had online meetings, we always understood each other well enough. Qubstudio was able to make precise planning on executing my ideas and vision.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can’t really answer this question, as our collaboration has been effective, and it still gives us great business results. They are real fans of what they do! Highly recommended design agency!

I was the CTO of Finova Financial, a financial services provider that develops fair and affordable money management technologies to create a more inclusive banking system. As CTO, I managed our customer experience department, as well as the CRM/ERP components of our business.

We wanted to make the entire lead qualification process less demanding. On the backend, we needed strong UX that would simplify and speed up the potential customer evaluation process. On the client-facing side, our goal was to make the user sign-up and onboarding process intuitive and straightforward.

The team from QubStudio began the project by gathering requirements and studying our business processes. Their designers evaluated our current CRM system to identify the hurdles that users were facing, and offered several innovative solutions that our developers were able to implement. They offered design solutions simultaneously as our developers made updates.

We achieved a significant decrease in processing time per lead, and our team now has a clearer understanding of lead qualification in general. 

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Our teams were in sync throughout every phase of the project. The project manager from QubStudio was very knowledgable and proactive in terms of solving any issues. Their designers collaborated well with our engineers, and we saw no significant difficulties with development. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We had no technical issues related to building their designs, which speaks to their in-depth understanding of development limitations and superior project management. Also, their design team did a great job of interpreting our requirements and matching their UX to our branding. We were impressed with how responsible and disciplined the team was compared to other designers we'd hired.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Looking back, I think we could have gone with fewer meetings and phone calls during the initial stages of the project, though they proved to be worthy time investments in our case.

scoutbee GmbH is an AI-backed, data-driven B2B platform for procurement processes. We have developed a global sourcing platform to help purchasers find the right suppliers. I am the leading project manager and product owner for this project, working closely with the designers and UX experts at QubStudio.

QubStudio was in charge of UI/UX design for the entire scoutbee platform, including a marketplace and several tools for supplier scouting and procurement processes.

How did you select this vendor?

We found QubStudio through their Dribbble profile and visited their office for a workshop. Their in-depth discovery session of our project impressed us, especially for its insights and productivity. We’ve continued to collaborate because of their passion and drive.

As a new product on the market, our tool gathered a lot of user feedback. Users have told us that scoutbee is much better than anything they've used before in terms of usability and visual appearance. The effectiveness of the design was already apparent in the development phase.

Their approach completely caters to our needs. During the project, we have gapless communication, both in calls and in-person meetings.

We engaged QubStudio for our startup project, a mobile app for EV drivers that identifies charging station locations. 

What were your goals for this project?

Mobile apps of this type are typically quite boring and technical. Because we are creating a system of EV privileges, we wanted to create a high quality, visually appealing, and user-friendly app with robust functionality that would make EV drivers as comfortable as possible. We also wanted it to draw new partners to our platform and bonus program. 

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

After a few weeks intensive searching, we were faced with four final vendors. One offered an unjustifiably high price and two others did not seem to fully grasp our project needs. QubStudio had it all: a stringent approach, an emphasis on quality results, and a reasonable price.

App To-U is the face of our platform, so the project consisted primarily of its UI/UX. The app is EV driver-oriented, providing a range of functions from navigation to charging stations. It is also the only app in our market to introduce unique booking features; drivers can easily find and book charging stations based on their schedule and activities.

Our mobile app surpassed all expectations. QubStudio’s stylish and practical design has garnered positive user feedback with downloads increasing every day.

Communication with QubStudio was an absolute pleasure. The project manager welcomed our ideas, tasks, and deadlines, and all questions received an immediate response.

With their professional level of design talent and client-oriented business approach, nothing is impossible for this team.

Nothing is ever instantly perfect, especially with a complex, brand-new product. But, despite some partially self-inflicted timeline delays, the end product was well worth waiting for.

They’ve designed over 100 screens so far, and the roadmap is all but complete. The user interactions these designs represent are quite complex, but QubStudio has executed them beautifully. We’re completely satisfied.

Our cooperation with QubStudio has been smooth and productive from the beginning. Their team is proactive and responsive and stays on top of everything. We got the effort rolling within the first two weeks and haven’t hit a snag yet. Our regular phone conferences have certainly contributed to this.
