• Ongoing monitoring and optimization: The Quantified Web frequently monitors our account, adjusts bids and budgets, restructures campaigns, excludes poor-performing keywords, and optimizes negative keywords.
• Ad copy and creative updates: The team writes and refines ad copy for each ad group, tests variations, updates branded ads, and manages campaign assets like images and extensions.
• Best practices and compliance: The Quantified Web ensures our campaigns align with Google Ads best practices, optimizes audience targeting, investigates errors, and maintains account health (including ClickCease and Delacon integrations).
• Regular reviews and strategy adjustments: The team conducts monthly and quarterly reviews, investigates performance, and makes adjustments to ensure high ROAS and lead quality.

Our monthly revenue increased by 491% within three months of partnering with them. Additionally, our Google Ads ROAS reached 4.9 in January. They also enhanced our website's front page and several product pages, boosting the conversion rate to 3.52%. Furthermore, they expanded our marketing efforts from the US to Canada, and now to Australia.

They provide a weekly report and an online work management platform for tracking progress and tasks. We usually communicate via a Slack channel. When I encounter a problem or need to discuss something about the ads, I post in the channel, and they typically respond within a day. Due to the time zone difference, responses sometimes come the next day. For important matters, I also discuss with them in Zoom meetings, where they can answer most questions during the call.

Previous to the COVID-19 pandemic, 80% of our new business acquisitions resulted from word of mouth. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we lost 35% of our customer base, and therefore, the impact of our word-of-mouth wasn't enough to help us rebuild our business at the pace we needed.

We knew that we needed to put more effort into our marketing compared to what we had done before to attract new customers. At the time, we weren't using Google Ads, and we didn't have the skills to do it ourselves. Therefore, we hired The Quantified Web to help us.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Quantified Web manages our Google Ads to direct traffic to our website. Initially, we had a meeting with them, during which Petra (Agency Director) worked with us to understand our business and challenges and match them with the services they provided. From there, they produced a business plan to address our needs. After that, their team set up our Google Analytics and produced a keyword review for performance tracking.

Since then, The Quantified Web has been helping us with our Google Ads, managing and monitoring our campaigns' performance on a monthly basis to improve our keywords gradually, place our ads in front of potential customers, and ensure we're reaching our targets as effectively as we can.

Everything The Quantified Web does is right on the first try, showing that their attention to detail is really strong. Moreover, their proactiveness is impressive. When they see a shift in our Google Analytics, they respond to those very sharply.

They're also quick to provide recommendations based on the results they see regarding reductions or increases in my Google Ads spending. For example, our business has seasonal patterns. Thus, if I go to The Quantified Web with any change requests, they're very quick to implement those changes.

The Quantified Web's project management is always spot-on. If they say they're going to do something, they always do it by the time they promise; they've never let me down once. Moreover, they've been great to deal with. They've always been very proactive and ahead of the game in letting me know what's going on in the project, which is very good.

As for communication, we primarily communicate via email with The Quantified Web. We also communicate once a month via Zoom with Petra. For project management, they use monday.com and, obviously, Google Analytics.

We started to grow rapidly in the last year and a half. We wanted to ensure we were reaching the right target audience, especially as we expand to an international audience.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The Quantified Web is helping us with SEO and Google Ads; they give us some strategies to improve the performance reach of the ads we acquire. One of the bigger projects was to break up our campaigns into regions; we looked at how we'd apply budgets and targets in the US market versus the UK and India, and they all have different strategies and budgets used to that so that we get conversions.

In addition, one of the things he went through with The Quantified Web was cleaning our previous keyword research up and removing the redundant ones that weren't performing well. A bit of account hygiene took place in the first project with The Quantified Web, and the next stage is categorizing our campaigns into different regions and seeing how we can track that better.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They've set up conversion tracking so we can measure the follow-through better, so we now have a lot more analytics and better leads, which is one of the more tangible results we've seen. The kind of inquiries we receive from around the world are better and are leading to actual sales, so we have been very pleased with that.

Through the sales team having video conferences with these clients, it is often clear that they have found us through our online presence. We have probably had twice as many productive conversions.

How did The Quantified Web perform from a project management standpoint?

They are very thorough and go above and beyond with project management. From my understanding, they got to work straight away, and when I came onboard, their team had already set up the account and analytics so that we could track it as needed — they had that ready quickly, so I was quite impressed by that.

Regarding tools, we use email and Zoom, and they've also provided a link to the customized reports in the Google Ads account. It gives us a nice summary and breakdown of all the analytics we like to see.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We immediately saw leads as soon as they adjusted our ad strategy. The other thing is their personal touch in our Zoom conference; they clearly articulate that everything is transparent, and the results are there.

I don't think there's anything they can improve on — I've been happy with their work and our accountants that we're getting better leads.

Ensure to follow up with emails and have video conferences. The problem from our end is having the availability because we have been growing quite rapidly, and we've been a little time poor in terms of being able to give all the attention that we should to The Quantified Web. Nonetheless, they've been patient with us and have helped us when we have asked them.

We worked together from March–July 2022. We didn’t have the budget for a couple more months. It wasn’t their fault; we had to end the contract until we could get our files up.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They took a lot of time to explain what we didn’t understand and gave us advice on SEO, which was beyond what they were contracted to do. In the first month, we found that the ads weren’t converting as they should because the pricing and website were out of their control. However, they were nice enough to let us pause the campaign so we could handle all those things. We were grateful for that.

Also, they were very accommodating and didn’t just keep taking money. When we started again, we did retargeting, and it worked well. Their service was incredible.

They took the time to explain and ensure we were comfortable. They were diligent with that. Also, they were always available when we needed them at no extra cost. They delivered on time and had weekly automated reports that were sent through.

They used Monday for reporting and communicated via email, Zoom, or phone.

They explained everything to us and were always available. Their servicing was probably above any other agency we’ve ever worked with.

Ensure you have your pricing right and the website converts well before starting an engagement. Basically, do your housekeeping before you start with any agency.

The Quantified Web does a great job of exceeding our KPIs and managing our Google Ads account, so I’m fairly comfortable with their performance at this point in the relationship.

They’re outstanding in all facets of project management. They utilize Monday.com so we get regular updates and easily see if tasks have been completed. We also have formalized reporting and in-person meetings.
